The Isle of Fear

My story so far:
Chapter 1:
Beyond the deep
It was the middle of the night and nothing stirred on land. The trees were still in the moonlight forest and the wind that blown was that of a mere breeze. A shape passed by the glowing moon and then dissapeared behind the murk of a cloud. The howls of the denziens of the night rang through the air and blood could be smelt. The foul, rancid stench was coming from the red patch of the clear sea. The waves were getting rougher and forming small tidal waves, crashing into the sand and travelling a few metres inland. A shape in what seemed to be a dorsal fin rose above the water and then dissapeared beneath the waves. A mile out at sea something was stirring. A black and white patterned creature rose from the depths and showed it's massive head and teeth. It stopped for a moment then falled down again. It was clearly 10-18 metres at the most. and had a large mouth full of dagger-like teeth.
Chapter 2
Rising Death
The sun was rising up in the orange sky as dawn broke. The insects were awake and busy catching food for their breakfast. Lizards were up and stalking the insects who were juicy and crunchy. In the deserts scorpions were eaten by the skinks and desert lizards. In the jungle the crickets and praying mantis were eaten by iguana’s and Parrots. Further inland, the ground shook with the steps of a massive creature, the trees swayed with every step. The grunts of what seemed to be a reptile could be heard in the stillness of the morning light. The birds squalked warning calls to anything in the vicinity of the creature.
