Yeah. I don't like drawing huge biceps. Just seems...i dunno, ridiculous? cause every werewolf pic I find looks like their bones should be caving under the strain of their muscles.

I know what you mean.

It's just fantasy, it's all over the place. Look at games, movies, etc. 90% of the male characters have perfect bodies perfect faces perfect voices etc.
With female characters its an even bigger deal, as appearance is generally more important with girls.

It's all a bit off putting really :P

And as for the album cover, a severed arm covered in blood lying somewhere nearby wouldn't have gone a miss. 'Caught red handed'

Nightmare fuel? You guys scare real easy. Don't ever watch the Saw franchise, you'd sh*t yourselves. XP

As for the second one...yes. She will be sore. If she wakes up. >=D

lmao. XD

I've seen 'em all, except for the seventh film. A few of my friends went and saw it and were bitterly disappointed, so I'm content to leave it at six movies.

@ HF: It's not so much it's scary, it's more of the fact the thought....

What happens if you give someone your existence? Are you theirs? What will they do to you? What if someone decides you are no longer needed? What if they're cannibals?

See? I managed to make one silly little picture into nightmare/paranoia fuel. :P

Okay. I promised a critique on your latest pics earlier, so here it is:

I. the Joker-based pic.

interesting you'd go for this, but then, with how addictive that damned song is i'm not in the least bit surprised :P . Overall, very nicely done. I can only find two major issues in this pic.

A) Her body [torso, hips and leg positioning as a result of hips] is considerably narrower than they should be. [her total width should be about 1.5-2 times the current width]. the proportions are thrown off by her arms, which seem too wide in comparison [looking at them, her two arms are as wide together as her entire torso. see the problem?].

B) Her head. this can be split up into two things.
1) Hat:
a) Overly small for her head size, IMO the hat's inside width should be equal to the maximum width of the wearer's head. By the inside surface I mean the side of it touching the wearer's head. and that width is not counting the width of the hat's material, which would generally add an extra half inch to the hat's width on an actual person's head.
b) Too high. The brim of the hat should be just above her eyebrows. in the pic the hat looks like it's perched on the top of her head, or magically levitating a few fractions of an inch off her head

2) Hair: Very simple issue here. lack of stripes [even lighter or darker strands of the blonde colour you're going with] makes it seem almost like it's worn. not actual hair. the fact that it seems plastered to the skull with no defined shape contributes to that issue.

The overall concept of the pic is nice though, don't get me wrong. these are just some suggestions for improvements.

II. The Horribly Mangled Dying Cat Pic :bonk:

Problems are relatively old ones at this point.
A) Big head, big neck, and short body length [cats are amazingly long animals if you take a close enough look. hence the LongCat meme]
B) Seemingly short tail [needs to be 1.5-2 times it's current size]
C) (New) Pose issue. [Most of this has to do with the hind quarters. I doubt a cat who'd just been in as vicious a fight as that, even if it was non combatant, or even asleep, would be in a sitting/crouching position like that. it'd more likely have it's legs spread out to one side of it, like it had fallen on it's side].
D) This would probably be fixed if it had shading. could use a bit, as well as extra fur-details to keep it from looking like it was grey flesh instead. still, relatively minor. the other 3 points vastly outweigh this one in importance.

*takes off Critic Beret and monocle, putting it in the closet, along with the Critic Pimp Cane*

So there you have it. My comprehensive critique of the pics :P

Joker pic; You would be damn surprised at how tiny I am. XP My friends can fit both of their hands around my waist. Easily. Might fix it later though.

The hat and hair do look off. Gotta keep in mind though I was half-conscious when I drew this (and don't make it a habit to draw people wearing hats).

cat pic; Yeah, i see the problems there. Wasn't really meant to be very accurate though - I was just in the mood to draw something violent. XP

I had a guess you based the Joker pic on yourself. just keep in mind, unless you're lifting weights and bulking up just your arms, that kind of ratio shouldn't be possible.

as for the other two points, i understand perfectly. i do the same from time to time. just do things for the heck of it. no thinking involved. take Artemis for example. he was the result of boredom...

Pff, I'm so ripped you'd be sh*tting yourself if you saw my arms. XP

Yeah no not really. XD I do have muscles though. Bigger muscles than the average 16-year-old girl. A result of the push-ups and running I do for the hell of it.

Ahh, boredom. A cruel mistress, yet can lead to some interesting things. XP

Anyway. i know the girl on the far right's hand looks off, but, meh. >_<

Image

The demoness is waiting. Of course she is. I would have been a fool to expect anything else. She stands in the center of a ring of fire, gazing at me calmly with her piercing red gaze. She is beautiful, but her eyes are cold and cruel.

She is a monster. A monster in a woman's body.

She flicks a lock of red-tipped black hair out of her face with a barely perceptible movement of her head. "So. You have come." There is very little emotion in her husky, faintly accented voice.

"Of course I came. This needs to end." I tighten my hold on my sword. "You killed my friends and slaughtered my family."

A shadow of a smile crosses her full lips, revealing the hint of fanged teeth, but she remains silent. Slowly, she half-unfolds her wings. They measure fourteen feet across, fully extended. And the talons on them can deliver a devastating blow.

I knew this, but still leveled my blade at her. "Now you die," I growl.

As I ready myself to attack, she speaks. "Your friends and family made a good meal for my pets." Her smile widens. Her eyes glitter with delight at the opportunity to pour salt on still-fresh wounds. "Such fine meat. They hadn't had such a good meal in quite some time." She stands, the flames rising with her.

I see red in my anger, roar and lunge, only just stopping myself from barreling right into a fireball she throws at me. She's not smiling anymore. Her beautiful face takes on a look of deadly intent.

"Very well, if you insist we fight. Make my day, human," she hisses, and I realize that only one of us is leaving here alive.

------

Quite proud of this pic. ^_^ LOVE the dress design.

Holy too much f*cking information Batman! PG, HF, PG. There are kids here, don't make me start censoring sh*t.

As for the art, I'm not a particular fan of anthropomorphic creatures...But I will say that the quality is quite good, for both.
