I walked by pigeon roadkill this afternoon. It was still fresh too, as in, the head and eyes were still intact.

I've seen opossum corpses, a crow run over AS I WALKED BY, mangled cats, rabbits, bird skeletons, dog bones and guts splattered all over the sidewalk...... yeah. I've seen quite a few brutal deaths in my day just walkin' to school.

I've seen quite a bit of roadkill. Living on a busy street means something gets hit near my house every so often. Squirrels, chipmunks, a skunk or two...I've seen them all maimed beyond recognition and then swept away by the street cleaner.
