Just finished watching a vid of the new WARNING system in MHp3. The guy in the vid took down an Uraggan subspecies, when the warning signal went off. Few moments later, in comes Deviljho. The guy only had an ice Long Sword and his two cats to help him out...

Well it makes no realistic sense. How do you know when a monster is going to appear?

Not to mention it was more fun. Having Deviljho appear out of no where, tagging him with a paintball then running out the area as fast as possible

Well, I guess it's just the developer's way of making things more difficult. Taking on an uraggan or Yogi the Bear first, then having Jho pop up shortly afterward and being forced to take him on as well...

Plus, the person who did the quest got a Deviljho gem at the end, so...

Is it actually part of the quest? As in, "Kill Urgan then kill Deviljho"? If so, that's a totally different story. Having a warning for new monster spawn is a great idea. Having a warning for random spawn is baaaad.

Not exactly. Becuase in all the Village quests below 5 stars that take place in the Mountain Stream, there's a chance the Warning signal will occur and everyone's favorite lightning wolf will appear, and that you'll be forced to fight him. Same thing for all quests rank 5 and above in other areas, only replaced by Jho...
