Lol. Washington got slammed with rain a while ago, didn't they? It's not bothering me, but all of NYC and even all of the Northeast is going crazy it seems like.

Anyone ever fired an automatic weapon before?

You have one right here. M4 at a firing range here in Kuwait. only once though, and not a lot of rounds. bloody expensive. mostly i use Beretta 9mm handguns, though from time to time i'll try out the occasional .308 scoped rifle. fired a .357 Magnum a while back when i was in the UK. awesome power there. first time trying i wasn't prepared for the recoil. came to me as a shock that i was aiming 60 degrees in the air after i pulled the trigger....and found i was lined up perfectly with a hole in the shade i was under. seemed i wasn't the first to underestimate it.


then you have airsoft rifles. i have my own and shoot with that frequently. Dad has a fully automatic one...or two. though i haven't tried them. according to the performance reports and manufacturers, those two in particular [in addition to a normal airsoft rifle by Benjamin....or was it Gamo...] are more powerful than the equivelent black powder weapons...which is kinda scary when you think about it...

Anyways, a couple of days ago I got the chane to fire an m4, a semi-auto gloc 17, and an Uzi.
After fireing the uzi, I didn't touch anyhting else, I know what you mean when you werent prepared for the kick KP, my wrists still hurt from how that thing just jerked up.

massive recoil? when did i say that, aside from the .357? [which, to be fair, i shot in...2007. or something around that. was kinda bony back then. didn't have the same staying power i have now]

also, i'm very sure it wasn't paintball shooting. holding the bullets in my own hand and manually loading them into the clips, i don't think there's much chance i could mistake those for paintballs
