Here's the thing, though. The PSP community (I know there's a better term for what I'm trying to say... I just can't remember what it is right now...) here is riddled with piracy and other bad stuff. Also, many people who wante the game here jsut imported it from Play Asia, and there are already traslated versions of those imports.

Though, I REALLY want an english version of MHP3, and I don't want to have to import to get a version...

God DAMN this snow storm came on fast. It's snowing hard - so hard, I can barely see anything past the fence. o.o

Edit: Aaand now it stopped. That was almost as fast as it came on. O_o

Gira, if the Obama tried to shut down RPGTopia, I would proceed to systematically invade every forum on the internet and spread the word that the President is a Dictator who goes against the very laws he was sworn to protect. that and i'd rebuild RPGTopia elsewhere. i have made personal contacts of many of the site's members and it wouldn't be too hard to get it up and running again.

But he's a nice guy and i'm sure that aside from threatening him with reputation destroying scandals there isn't much you could do to make him hurt a random Arab's feelings by shutting down a creative writing website that's being paid for yearly...

As for MHP3, i doubt they'll make the mistake of preventing sales to the West. that's millions of potential sales lost. actual production of the CDs isn't that expensive. the game's data is, but once it's solidified and complete, it's basically just copy pasted onto millions of CDs. expenses come from actual game design. keeping that in mind they would want to sell it to as many people as possible. I for one intend to buy it, and i know of at least one other friend who will. possibly up to 4, depending on their enthusiasm around the time the game's released in English...

worst case scenario i pirate an English language version. keeping the difference in mind i'm sure Capcom would want to produce the copies just to avoid losing money round the other end via pirating of a translated version...

Pirated copies might have a pitfall trap. IE, Arkham Asylum has a line of code that makes all pirated versions unwinnable.

Just got back from patrolling the MH Wiki boards, and it seems like there's another, more likely rumor... That the game will be released for the PSP 2 this December...

In which case I'll just throw in th etowel and give up. I just had my parents pay who knows ho wmany money for a PSP, and I ain't gonna sell that and get a PSP 2 when the time comes... that just... CURSE YOU, CAPCOM!

But yeah... THis is all just rumors that I've been running across... I'm not certain as to what's likely to happen, and what's not...

KP: Pirated versions have the glide mechanic removed. Since you have to glide 9999999999 times in that game, having it removed renders the game unwinnable. The fact Batman falls into poisonous gas after failing to catch the wind in his cape is insult to injury

Aaaaah, bummer! You can't own piranhas in NY state unless you have a permit stating it's for a certain purpose. D: I really wanted some too.

(For some weird reason, it's legal in Alaska. O_o)

Are piranhas really considered that dangerous? They're not all they're cracked up to be. They're just fish that HAPPEN to have the ability to eat meat...

FUNFACT: Amazon piranhas (the most well known) actually have a diet of berries that fall from trees. They just scavenge when they can.

DM: Well, apparently, dumbf*cks who couldn't handle their flesh-eating pets (they either are stupid enough to get themselves bitten or the fish just get too big) are idiotic enough to drive to the nearest water source and RELEASE the piranhas in the hopes that the fish will die. Which, as you can imagine, causes pandemonium. People get bitten, the local wildlife gets hit hard (especially if the piranhas adapt and start breeding)....it's a big mess.

TT: Either you're sh*tting me or that's an ironic truth.

Common misconception that piranhas can survive in NY (Specifically NYC's central park). While they can survive fall, spring, and summer, winter would most certainly kill them.

But ya, lots of states have really weird rules that don't make any real sense. Ferrets are illegal to have as pets in many states. Not really sure why.

I think they were made illegal here just because of idiots that stuck their fingers in the tank and got themselves so badly bitten they needed stitches. Morons. >_<

Probably. People and exotic pets rarely mix well. Ruins it for those who can actually take care of them :/

You hear about weird sh*t in this city. Tiger in an apartment being one of the weirdest. Then you have the classic alligators in the sewers and giant rats and what not

TT: Yeah. it sucks, I wanted a tank full of fish that I could actually enjoy having. Goldfish are kinda dull in comparison. :/

CS: Then there are the idiots who release giant snakes because the snake got to be too much for them to handle. Few days later, where does the snake turn up? Your toilet. o.o'
