Nah, it was single cell. As in, about the size of where I live. It was maybe 14 miles wide. Not big at all.

It's just from the temperatures going up and down. Atmosphere isn't stable with these temperatures going up-down-up-down.
I just want to see thunderstorms pass through. I live across the street from a gigantic field. It's a lightning magnet. I also live by an area of trees, PLUS an ocean (3 blocks away). So.. I usually see an epic show.
There are SO many different types of lightning, it's awesome to watch.
Cloud-to-Ground is VERY common in that field (some types of strikes that are rare occur there), and generally strikes closer to the rail and the trees. Sheet lightning is also very common here (or cloud to cloud), but I've also seen ball lightning and positive charged lightning. It's intriguing.
