In MHF1, the rarest items of all 3 colors of the Rath wyverns and Azure Lao are their rubies.

One item you'll spend alot of time killing Black Bloses for is the Twisted Black Blos horn. They're so rare in MHF1 that the last time I played the game, I had only 3 at max in my item box.

I just got full Helios (Ceadeus materials) armor...then realized it sucked -_-

Oh well, the only hard to get materials were the horns...

Two things: The armor skills, and the slots.

The armor skills are mediocre at best: High grade earplug, handiwork +15 (Tri's artisan), and I forget the other (Shows how memorable it was!)

I thought that the increase in sharpness would be great, but when I made the armor, I found that it also has -10 sharpness. Not the artisan type of sharpness, but the kind that makes my blade twice as likely to go down a sharpness level, which pretty much counteracts the handiwork skill.

Second, the armor has ONE gem slot! One! My Lagi armor has like 9. I am able to get 5 full armor skills from it: +10 Fire Res, Sharpness +10 (Double the amount of hits it takes to go down a sharpness level), Olympic Swimmer, Sneak, and Grinder. The only negative to the armor is -10 status, which means poison, paralyze, and sleep are less effective when I use them against monsters.

So ya, Lagi armor >>>> Helios.

Did you find Agnaktor(Agunacotol) easy the first time you fought him?

Somewhat. I fought him after getting the barbarian blade (Water longsword) and the Lagi armor, so I had an unfair advantage.

He does have a rage mode exclusive attack that kicks my *ss repeatedly. He goes underground, then dives at you from below, goes back under as he lands, then does it again two more times. And its a homing attack like Diablos' charge. Even diving to the ground makes you open to the next attack -_-

I apologize for not recognizing the Japanese names, but I've kinda got adjusted to the English ones (Though most are similar...except this one :P)

You mean Gobul, right? Angler fish type thing.

I did. I just called it by the Japanese name because I felt that it isn't as weird as the english name.

I agree with you there. I think I've killed around 4 or 5 total. Killed/Captured that is. Relatively easy, no real need to farm them though.
