*I roll my eyes, seeing as doing both is redundant, and sets the radiation pulse to ten minutes, then promptly turns into the Cheshire Cat and vanishes*

*A deep booming explosion as the Human-Reaper finally hits the bottom of the abyss is heard, and alarms begin to blare, the floating, isolated platforms beginning to spin out of control, the task force still on them, before they crash violently into the ground at the other end of the tunnel, sending many of the SPARTANs tumbling over the abyss and to their deaths*

*Collectors swarm throughout the base like angry bees, firing on the task force as they approach, while the Collector General, in the bowels of the space station, furiously taps at holographic controls in its command center, Harbinger's voice echoing from it and throughout the station:*

Human, you've changed nothing! Your species has the attention of those infinitely their greater! That which you know as Reapers will be your salvation through destruction!

*The remaining Collector Cruisers all ram Vegnagun at once, exploding violently, the combined explosions enveloping the machina in a raging fireball*

Wash: Just run! Don't try fighting! We'll make it through faster!

*The remaining spartans continue running as the A.I picks us all up in the plasma forcefield I had used against the Orochi to protect us from the miniture nuke. The armor quickly begins flying with the ball, all of us now onboard, including some of the descending spartans*

A.I: I got everyone! Let's go!

The monstrous machina is engulfed in the flames. Unable to heal itself fast enough, the machina shuts itself down and transforms into a ball like state, still able to fight, but uses a secondary, more primitive computer............

Mr Black extends his wrist blades.

Mr Black: "I'll hold them off. Go! There is little time for you here!"

"What of you, Mr Black?"

Mr Black: "I have nothing left to lose. Now go!"

I nod my head solemnly and head back with UR, the predator rushing towards the collectors with anger coming off him liek and aura.....

*A small explosion staggers the Collector General, who clings desperately to its control center*

You have failed! We will find another way!

Releasing control...

*The General reaches up towards the yellow hologram of the Reaper, which promptly vanishes. At the same time, the glow in the General's eyes dims, and the insectoid creature pauses, as if confused or dismayed at being abandoned by the real Harbinger. It looks down, despondent, then looks slowly over its shoulder as a wave of energy washes throughout the station, enveloping every living thing in the Collector Base and killing every organic creature still alive in the space station*

I jump onto the ship before it takes off, Mr Black still fighting, even as death descends upon him....

Blaze sits comfortably before turning to UR.

"Do you have Tina?"

*Everyone is filled into the dropship just as it leaves, as I change into my human form before seating Tina. The fleet quickly begins hammering the base while we make our escape, as I turn to face Blaze*

We got her. It's over, it's finally over. Fleet'll mop up, but we're going home.

Washington: Did we get the Meta?

I didn't see him where he fell earlier when he became unconscious, so he must've gotten out before that bomb went off.

Meta: <Hammer that base until it is no more, men!>

*All of the sudden, the dormant base, alongside Sovereign, seem to vanish into nothingness, disappearing from sight completely...*

Blaze nods slowly before speaking again.

"May I have her?"

I take a seat, slightly shaken from my narrow escape, and beign the only person who knows what happened to Mr Black.....

Let her rest for now, Blaze. She nearly lost her life back there, we all did. I have no clue what happened to the Meta, though.

Schwarzenegger: Where is Mr. Black at?

Space Marine: Everyone deserves to rest for now. When we get home, we celebrate these two victories today.

*The dropship quickly nears my capital ship and lands in it's main hangar, many soldiers, including the Meta, greet us as our ship slowly begins to land...*

*Meanwhile, back at the site, I sit in my fortress, watching security footage of Covenant soldiers exploring the innards of the Collector Base, which is now buried deep underneath my fortress like a bunker. I stretch my arms and fold them behind my head with a smile*

Nice job, guys. You certainly make my job a lot easier...

Blaze nods slowly before relaxing.

"You did good back there, guys."

I turn to Arnold and sigh.

"I am sorry Arnold. He didn't make it."

I pull out a small knife and hand it to him.

"Here. He wanted you to have this."

*Arnold inspects the knife before lowering his head in sorrow, a single tear slowly streaming down his face. I turn to Blaze again after looking at the saddened Schwarzenegger, my fingers seeming to twist and turn over eachother as my mouth opens without me saying anything, however*

Washington: We may have done well, but we took to much casualties to consider this an actual victory.

He's right. But, atleast we finally get to head home and relax, plus I'm paying for the first round of drinks for our celebration...

I turn to Arnold.

"-allies-"

I turn to Washington, Meta, and the agents.

"And, well almost, lovers."

I turn to Blaze and Tina.

"But, it was a victory in the end, even if it is to be taken with a grain of salt."

*FCC agents begin swarming the E-war*

Voice: "Being friendly. Duh. Deos thsi mean the civil war's over? We're ready to be random!"

*Watches the events unfold through one of many video screens*

*Turns to a blood-red hologram of Sovereign*

You know, I'm surprised that worked! I don't think Harbinger will be very happy about the death of all his little toys, but I'm sure he'll get over it...

Civil war has been over for like 50 pages. I've long since stopped caring, but you people evidently have been entertaining yourselves. But with that last statement, I'm kinda scared to leave you people alone anymore.
