*the virus, acting independently of the host's consciousness, continues to force both of them to rage, though the purging of Gira of the virus has dulled the effects, his entire body still left with severe cellular damage and mutations on the genetic level, modifying his DNA itself, forcing the body itself to produce the virus, Gira's symptoms rapidly returning, as Bowser's form rapidly mutates, muscle mass increasing, flesh decaying, the koopa's attempts to save himself from itches causing more and more flesh to drop, his face practically skinned, only muscles, blood and bone left, the Koopa's eyes now greyed completely, though more and more tiny veins are visible on the eye, seeming to become bloodshot rapidly, as simultaniously, the Koopa's shell continues to crack over the expanding muscle mass, the koopa's fangs and claws growing rapidly, the braces on his arms smashing with explosive force due to muscle expansion and the development of a blade-like formation along one side of his arm, the other arm undergoing the same mutations*
*a voice comes up from speakers within Gira's castle, having been broken into by the CDS and relaying my transmission from the Africa Complex*
I think at this point you're all wondering just what exactly it is that Gira and Bowser are afflicted with. likewise, without intervention, Bowser should already be well into stage 2 of the infection, Gira probably having only just entered it, or before that, depending on whether you actually managed to find a successful way to try and 'cure' him...
What you're witnessing, is the destruction of characters. Giratina and Bowser as you knew them will soon cease to exist. their very consciousness has been locked away and is being consumed, along with various other elements of their personalities, to fuel the mutations. They are long gone...and soon....you will join them...
*the blast blows Artemis back, giving it room, the creature standing, form smoking, as the burnt flesh seems to peel from it's form, fresh, intact skin already replacing it, the creature's eyes recovering rapidly, the creature snarling, as a sharp pain rips out through Shi Khan's form, the virus having already infected several cells inside it's body, the infectious nature being passed along from cell to cell as the infected ones mutate, creating more of the virus, the area around the wound dying, the virus cells bursting from the skin and muscle cells that were infected, hitting surrounding cells and destroying their host cells completely, leaving dead, irritated flesh that tempts scratching*
"Ah yes, organised chaos. the sign of a clever but ever-busy mind. To the perpetrator, a carefully woven web of belongings and intrigue, but to the bystander? Madness!"
