Let me guess... ODST's campaign was FAR too short, there were few new enemies and weapons added in, and the only real entertaining mode was Firefight?

I like regular Halo 3. Never played ODST, but it doesn't look that good.

ODST is good in my opinion. Worth 60 bucks? ...No. Its an expansion pack, nothing more. But by now it should be less...I'd say its definitely worth 40.

Pretty lame how firefight doesn't have a matchmaking system.

ODST just wasn't as satisfying a game as Halo 3 (which isn't very satisfying itself anyway). There's almost no replay value whatsoever (even Firefight gets boring after awhile), and, in my opinion, no Sangheili makes any Halo game bad. I've gotten less into Halo recently anyway.

In-game wise, the meain reason why there's no alive Elites is that, after Regret's carrier jumped to Delta Halo, Truth's forces arrived, and set up shop in New Mombassa, all the brutes killed the Elites there, as orders from Truth himself...

I know that, but that doesn't make it a good thing. I understand that the Elites simply couldn't be in ODST, but that doesn't mean I have to like it, considering the Sangheili were some of the most interesting villains/heroes in the whole series.

War gripped a gmod freespace server

they bombed my tactical missile silo/base/ mega duplex cinema

I was quite pissed when I found one wall completely demolished, making the base look like a DOLL HOUSE -___-

Elites annoy me anyway. Especially in Halo 2, the invisible honor guards of doom T_T

Oh.. Now I remember...

They were ESPECIALLY annoying in the origonal Halo, where your allies couldn't see them, but were picked off with ease...

Too bad a Brezerking Brute can tear Elites, Grutns, and even Hunters apart in Halo 2...

THankfully, fans complained about how the Brutes were large damage sponges, and were no fun to kill, so Bungie made them more like Elites, with the Power Armor... Though things can easilly get messy when they have the Brute Shot and Fuel Rods...

No kidding. :D

Also, I have 2 funny stories to share with you.

Once, me and chris were playing campaign and did the second mission. We had to attack this brute encampment, so we did a berserker charge on them. Chriis was in trouble, since he had 2 pistols, so I charge in, gravity hammer in hand, and I say, "Chris look out!!" Chris responds with "Huh?" And I kill them all, including Chris.

Another one:

Me and my friend Chris are fighting these 2 hunters. They had Chris pinned down and he was almost dead. I charge in, gravity hammer in hand, and I toss a plasma grenade at one, sticking it in the face, killing it. I turn to the second hunter, and I smash it in the chest with a mighty swing of my hammer. Chris was dumbfounded, since he usually kills them, and he takes about 2 minutes. I killed them in less than 30 seconds.

You must have been playing on easy... If you want a truly exhaulting experience, then play on Legendary with Tough Luck, Catch, Famine, Fog, Tilt, Mythic, Cowbell, and Grunt Birthday Party on. Now, even with all those skulls on, I can get through the Covenant levels with ease, and Floodgate as well, but Cortana... IT IS SO EVIL! CURSE YOU STUPID RANGED FORMS!

No, it was on normal. We did the last level on Legendary.
