When I make Flood buddies in Halo 3, I've noticed that if you shoot of their tentacled arm while their charging at you, the game will still think they have the limb until they attack with the stump of the limb.

Yup. That kraken's the most awesome sea monster in mythology, specifically the greek version.

don't make assumptions based on what you don't know, Gira...

the Kraken in Clash of the Titans, based on what was visible, is between 3 and 6 times the size of the PoTC Kraken [seeing as the PoTC Kraken never revealed itself fully]....let's just say that's about the size of my Kraken's mouth...

only Yuke, Doc and TT REALLY know what the name Kraken means....it's absence from the battle in RPGTEW is with good reason....it'd eat the entire war, complete with the fortresses....

Kraken means devil fish. Its origins is speculated to be based of of ancient encounters with the giant squid. In POTC, theres a part of Dead Man's chest when Will falls into the ocean and sees the thing going "OM NOM NOM" at the ship's hull (Or rather, flailing its tentacles about with its body under the ship)

In At World's End, the poor thing is killed and washed ashore, dwarfing all around it, even (obviously) the Black Pearl.

So, given that the COTT Kraken is the size of the POTC Kraken's mouth alone, I can say that KP's Kraken would slaughter it :/

Kinda hurt that you guys forgot Im a total enthusiest of things nautical D:

Woah. That's some serious Kalamari you got there, KP.

And why Kraken means devil fish is beyond me, since it is almost always pictured as a squid.

That differs. Its been pictured as an octopus sometimes. But, as to why its called devil fish, here's the explanation

Fish: Things in the ocean you cant catch, sell and cook

Kraken: Giant monster that can rip your vessel in two and eat the crew in one snap of its terrible beak

and thus it was labeled as something of the devil's creation in the sea

Ah, makes perfect sense now.

The only other version of the Kraken I've seen is the greek Kraken. Every other form I've seen is some kind of Cephalopod.

Of course... Everything the Admins have has to be 9000X what the normal users have...

Now, if only there was an Admin-sized Sperm Whale to eat up KP's Kraken...

I like the flying bird-dragon things.

My mom has expressed interest in seeing the movie. I myself don't care if I go see it or not.

Me neither, I just want to see the part when the bird-dragon tackles the exoskeleton. :P

I completed ODST on Legendary today. I felt foolish giving Buck the rocket launcher in the last level while driving toward the building because he would often miss hitting the ghosts with the rocket launcher and I had to man the turret of the gauss hog myself to take out the Banshees.

LOL that's sad. When me & Chris do campaign in Halo 3, he drives, while I shoot the turret, since if I drive, I'll get lost. I'm a pretty good shot on the turrets, and with a Fuel Rod.
