*I begin to take the collect rocks after punching my way to make a tunnel filled with minerals, before taking the now block-like things and build a nice little structure in it, near the water...*

"Yeah, sure. Don't expect to last too long, though."

I chuckle evilly.

"Just fooling."

Okay, whatever. Oh, also, we WON'T be sparring in reality, but in a game instead, so that-a-way we don't go for eachothers throats or kill eachother.

*I continue to build the fort-like building inside the cave, while placing down a workbench and begin to make a few more shovels and pickaxes...*

*Continue to fall down the hole, wondering where I am heading..*

Mara: Um... are you still there, Kingpin? Hello?

*The group soon lands inside the lair, behind a pillar which hides them from anything on the other side. A tank turns to Gira*

Gravemind: *through tank form* We are here. We will go ahead and lead you right to him...

*Looks around, noticing the rather... dark... presence of the area we're in...*

So this is Dusknoir's lair... If I had known about this place, the cyclops ghost wouldn't have lasted as long as he did previously... Now the only question is... is he here or not?

*While still up on the tree, Minene looks around, before heading off, using her vactors to stay high up above the ground, above the line of sight of any of the Denizens...*

*Down in Hell, as Mara finally hangs up the phone in sheer frustration, thinknig that her order didn't get accepted, several Sableye there are wispering amongst themselves in fear...*

Gravemind: He has to be here. If not, we'll take you to the few places he is suspected to be at afterwards.

*The two tanks lead the way, the other flood forms following close behind them into the chamber. A wall smashes open behind the sableye, numerous flood forms burst out of it and tackle the beings, multiple infection forms swarm them seconds later and infect them...*

*The Sableye run for their lives, trying to avoid the deadly Flood, their screams for help bringing in Mara.*

Mara: What's going on here, you whel- WHERE DID THESE FOOLS COME FROM?!?!

*Lightning spheres gather in Mara's hands as the Kitsune demon hurls them at the Flood Forms, vaporizing them with incredible ease...*

*Shinobu flies upward, before landing on a large rock, the girl deep in thought...*

*As Minene continues onward, she fails to notice a figure drapped in a pitch black robe silently following her, the figure invisible to the Denizens...*

*The infection forms move too swiftly for the sableye to avoid and are taken down one at a time, succuming to the infection easily. Combat forms fly through the air and bash sableye with their tentacles and arms, or shoot them with the weapons they wield. A tank form bursts through the ground behind Mara and hits her with enough force to flatten out a car, sending her flying into a swarm of carriers, combat forms and infection forms. Three rangers rise from the ashes of a tank, looking around a bit for denizens before leaving the tank, one of them spotting Minene...*

*Follows the Flood, still wondering if Dusknoir really is around...*

*Mara leaps backward, taking the hit in stride, before launching two more electrical spheres, one at the Tank, which gets fried to a crisp, and the other downward, the one aimed downward explodes, wiping out the Flood around her, all the while the Sableyes still running around like headless chickens...*

Mara: What on earth is going on around here? DEMONS, ATTACK!

*From the ground, numerous demons, in all shapes and sizes, rise up, before attacking the Flood, the demons immune to being taken over by the Flood, as they bein to fight back against them, Persephone herself even joining in the action, causing brief holes to appear in the ground, making some Flood fall down into the depths...*

Persephone: I take it that he phone call was a failure?

Mara: Yes... yes it was... I am sorry for failing you yet again!

*As Minene continues onward, the cloaked figure bounds after her, a knife appearing in its hands as it closes in on Minene, ignoring the three rangers...*

*The lead ranger looks at the others and points at the cloaked being with the knife*

Foley: Contact at twelve o' clock! Ramirez, take him out!

*The nearby ranger nods, grabs an M4A1, and opens fire, wasting the whole clip in the gun on the near threat. The flood forms bound around and keep attacking the enemy forces, as a massive tentacle emerges from one of the holes, followed by more through others, which grab demons and quickly take them away, or grab sableye and do the same. Others begin to attack those threatening the lesser flood forms. The tanks soon round the pillar from either side, followed by the horde of other flood forms...*

*Notices a large door, one that seems to emit a ghostly aura from around it. I pick up the scent of Dusknoir from behind the door.*

I think, ladies and squishy aliens, I found our target...

*The cloaked figure seems to vanish right as the bullets hit him, before reappearing behind the rangers, the figure stabs the nearest ranger in the spinal cord, before kicking the second ranger into the third one, the whole attack taking only 2 seconds, the bulletfire attracting Mienene's attention, causing her to head back, to help out the rangers...*

*Mara, persephone, and the rest of the demons continue to attack the Flood, until both Persephone and Mara raise their hands up into the air, a sphere of immense destructive properties begins to form, electrical strikes begin to launch from the sphere, each lightning strike causing an explosion where it hits, one hits a tentacle, causing the section it hit to explode outward, the upper-half of the tentacle collapsing onto the ground, dead, while the lower half slowly begins to decay, more and more lightning strikes blast from the sphere created by both Mara and Persephone, wiping out the Flood at a rapid pace...*

Mara: Is this... an attack from Vintage?

Persephone: No, Mara-Darling... If it were, you'd know for certain...

Gravemind: *groaning in pain, using dead tank to yell at Mara and Persephone* YOU, YOU TWO. I HUNGER NOT FOR YOUR FLESH, BUT THAT OF SURFACE DWELLERS! HELP ME OUT OF THIS WRETCHED PLACE WITH MY MINIONS, AND I WILL HELP YOU CONQUER YOUR FOES! *To Gira, through tank* My minions will follow you, user.

*Foley and Ramirez groan after falling off the tank as the body of the ranger lands beside them, before they both fire on the assassin. Dunn climbs out of a nearby humvee and uses the intact minigun to fire on the cloak being, using the all-around shield to his advantage. The flood forms in the chamber with the demons and remaining sableye stop attacking, as those with Gira wait, for both the order to betray the user, and to take Dusknoir out...*

*The sphere's electrical bolts stop, both high-rank demon's hands lower, Mara raises up an eyebrow in suspicious curiosity.*

Persephone: I see... I will accept your request, Gravemind.

Mara: But my leige-

Persephone: However, if I even sense your going to betray me... you'll wish, that Craefr had dealt with you...

*Kicks down the door with a single kick, causing the massive black lock on the door to shatter, before leaping inside, only to see that the room has no one inside, the room filled with a purplish smoke, numerous pots, including the Black Cauldren, line up around the walls, they being the source of the smoke, while numerous scythes, voodoo dolls, knifes, and other strange objects are scattered around the room on various tables and on the wall, the word "Vintage" lined up on the back wall in large, grey letters ...*

I guess... he's not here...

*The bullets tear through the cloak, but do not harm the figure inside of it, as it flings the cloak off, revealing what looks like a young man of 20, with long, brown hair and a beard/mustache to match, the human-appearing demon wearing a ninja-like suit to match, as he darts toward both Rangers, kicking one of them in the gut, sending him flying into the Mini-gun weilding one, while grabbing the other's head in his right hand, before crushing the ranger's head like a grape...*

Gravemind: *To persephone* I wouldn't dare to. Betray me and... well, to put it in simple terms, you'll go through a torturous and unimaginable hell not even the most evil of villians could withstand. *To Gira* Than we shall search the other chambers.

*Ramirez is teleported to the humvee at the last moment, and fires on the demon once more with Foley and Dunn, as the adult Eradicus stumbles out from the brush nearby, before roaring at the demon and challenging it...*

A thump is heard behind UR.

*Persephone and Mara both smirk, The former having already foreseen this happening, before the Gravemind's forces find themselves on the main Site, in the midsts of a large group of Denizens. A few seconds later, the Gravemind finds himself also set free, he now at the ruins fo the Site Logo Research Facility...*

Mara: So... can we really trust the Gravemind?

Persephone: No, we cannot, Mara-Darling... But we won't destroy him... There are already forces... conspiring against him...

*Shrugs, before heading off, unaware of the Flood about to betray me...*

*The demon glares at Eradicus, ready to take him on... until an invisible fist hits him in the stomach, sending him sprawling to the ground, Minene having finally arrived to help the Rangers out, the one that had teleported now feeling horrible headaches, headaches so stron ghe's unable to even lift his gun. The demon hisses, before charging at Minene...*

*I turn to G4E, before looking at the new safe house that I had just finished*

Yo. I already got everything here finished. Ok, wanna play somethin' on the 360 now?

*Ramirez stumbles around a bit and leans up against the humvee, his vision blurred, as both Foley and Dunn fire on the demon and Eradicus charges him. The stunned ranger shakingly pulls up his pistol and fires off a few shots, before dropping the half-empty gun completely. The gravemind roars in joy, and flood forms spread all across the site, spore already begin to form around the gravemind and pods fall from the sky. A massive tentacle from the gravemind slowly comes up from the ground behind Gira, followed by others, as the flood forms slowly move in to attack, just as a tentacle swats Gira off his feet...*
