The Ra'zac eventually hissed in irritation, but continued moving further down the alley, past the pair's hiding spot, silent as a ghost and watching every shadow for movement. The Ra'zac never left any job half-finished...

[The Kingpin]

"Shall we leave?" rumbled Septimus as he eyed Tetto'eko, eager to leave. he wanted to see what this Lustria was like that it would cause the skink to say it was so dangerous...



The man remained vigilant, as still as the boxes that helped hide him and the elf, wary of any development, his senses on high alert, wary of any tiny movement, sound or scent that may hint to a trick or trap.

The Ra'zac eventually rounded a corner at the other end of the alley, disappearing from sight soon after...

"Of course," Tetto'eko chirped, scampering onto Septimus' back. "When you see the jungles, try to keep a low profile. Terradons, both domesticated and not, patrol the skies there."

Arsenic let out his breath slowly, quietly. He knew better than to relax fully, though. That thing could be back at any moment.

Khorne was unaffected by the assault for the msot part, his ears being so tiny that, while painful, wasn ot as serious as the beast had hoped. The basilisk in his adrenaline rush moves his head back in front of his foe's, and locks his gaze into his, the deadly magic beginning to taker affect on the beast.......

Draco runs around, before yelling aloud in the crowd, "You fools! How could he escape?! He was right in front of all of you!" "Draco, the elf does mental attacks! We can't even approach him!" "Enough of this nonsense, then! I'LL handle him, alongside the Ra'zac....." Draco simply growls low, rage taking him as he, too, heads into the alleyway.........

The man remained still for several more minutes, waiting to be sure before he made a move...



"These Terradons. what kind of terrain do they generally live and nest in? jungles? treetops? And how large are they?" inquired Septimus as he nodded to Uriel. We will meet again one day, friend. Of that, you can be sure he said mentally to the dragon, before turning so his wings wouldn't strike the dragon when he took off, flexing the joints and his tail fin somewhat before beating his wings gently, lifting him off the floor gently enough not to send the skink plummeting from the sudden movement, before ascending...

Hraesvelgr was somewhat effected by the attack, but barely released her grip on the akantierus as she bit down upon the area Khorne's acidic spittle had hit...

Draco walks down the alleyway cautiously, holding his longsword one-handed, looking around every place, not letting any movement escape his sight. "You're making this harder then it needs to be, elf........ just give up, and I'll make sure you get home safe and sound....." Draco then thinks in his head, .....after I get the location of where your worthless bretheren are hiding, at least.....

Like hell, Arsenic thought bitterly, jaw clenching. His deep violet eyes narrowed. I'll never give in to someone who loves his lies. Spawn of a dritch.

Uriel watched the two leave with wide eyes, while Zeke slowly dragged the bones away from right under the dragon's nose...

The shorter Ra'zac, having made her way onto the rooftops again, heard Draco's voice. Moving to the edge of a building's roof quietly, she peeked over the edge at Draco, then looked around. From her current vantage point, she couldn't see any sign of the elf. Nevertheless, she stayed there, letting Draco make the first move...

As Tetto'eko's grip tightened to keep from falling off Septimus, he chirped, "They're, well... about the size of our draconic friend we just left actually. Not too dangerous alone. They nest in the treetops of Lustria, and they often hunt in groups. Terradon Riders are far more dangerous. We Skinks are renowned for our poisons and dexterity, and those who ride Terradons often carry poisoned javelins with them. You do not want to be poisoned by a Skink, I assure you."

Draco then says, "Now now, elf, there's no need to be afraid.... after all, your kind will ultimately preservere..... at least, until I have MY say about it......" The man chuckles sadistically. "Then, you'll be begging for mercy at Greshlynk's hands, cursing that the god had doomed your kind from the moment he called us superior!"

Wait....wait....wait until he gets past you. Then you can corner him... Arsenic's thoughts weren't doing much to dispell the renewed crimson haze of his fury. That damn arrogant wretch! I'll cut out his tongue, rip out his innards, and leave the mess to the crows. His jaw was clenched so hard that it hurt, and his fisted hands were whitening at the knuckles. Calm...wait until the brat passes...then you can make your move...

Draco leaned against one of the walls. He runs his hand along his blade, a smile coming across his face. "I know you're in here, elf.... you might as well show your face now so we make this quick......."

the man could feel the elf's anger through his grip, but tightened his grip on the elf to remind him this was a ruse. this was what the prince wanted. giving it to him would put them both in a difficult situation....though even he was not completely lost on the fury. this prince. this....child....was the same person mentally as the one who had led to the man's own King's death....a manipulative coward who could only strike when protected from all sides by watchful guards...he even shared the hatred for elves the traitor had....that person fell to the nation under his command...was flayed alive...then hung for it moments afterward...were it not for the late Queen, he would've condemned this nation as a place filled with conniving fork-tongued serpentswho deserved a mass execution...to be wiped from the face of Aster for the sake of all its other inhabitants...

"I don't think they're here, Draco," the female Ra'zac suddenly hissed, hopping down from her perch and landing lightly on the box that was just over Arsenic and his savior's heads. "We sssshould sssearch elsssewhere..."

Draco looks up, his free hand glowing with flames as he speaks to the female Ra'zac. "Nonsense. There's plenty of places for them to hide in here. I'll just burn them out....."

"You really want to ssstart burning your own city to find this knife-ear?" the Ra'zac replied. "You really don't like them, do you?"

Draco raplies in an almost bestial snarl, "The buildings are made of stone. It cannot be burnt down. As for your assumption.... I hate the elves. Their existence on this continent is against Greshlynk's will.... and is not to our liking."

"Whatever you ssssay," the Ra'zac hissed back nonchalantly, stepping down from the crates and turning to leave the alley. "As long as you don't interfere with any of Zazikel'ssss plansss, I won't ssssstop you..."
