No. AVP E-war was dead for aaaaaaages, and no one seemed motivated enough to continue. It would take a LOT of convincing to bring it back, especially since it ended so recently. It would be like TF E-war: One would have to provide an original take on it, not just "Dur dur xenomorphs and predators fight".

May I make a suggestion? How's about we do a Bioshock RPG?

The date is December 30th, 1958, just one day before the start of the Rapture Civil War. You're basically doing what you normally do in this place that everyone calls "Utopia", well, that is, until the next day. After that, you end up fighting for you life as either some of the few still sane, the Big Daddies and Sisters that risk their lives to help protect the Little Sisters, or as a Splicer that'll do anything for ADAM. As time progresses, you'll eventually learn more about what happened to what was once a great paradise, until that day, and soon you will also be a better survivor and possibly escape this destroyed world under the sea.

Plasmids, a key factor to survival in this, can be found in certain buildings or in hidden locations, but some of the players can start out early on with these, but ONLY if they're Little Sisters or the Big Daddies and Big Sisters. Yet, you'll be limited to just 4 of these powerful weapons that can save you're life here...

We've pulled off other successful RPGs... I mean, just look at ISS! It's gone through both multiple plots and is still the longest lasting RPG on this site, dude...

Specific media RPGs never work. AVP E-war is an example.

I see what you mean TT, and your right, looking over things, they havent worked, just look at the archives, and if they are manageing to eek out a living in the forum, there an unpopular RPG.

I think there are some that would work, if given a try. Just as long as the media it's based off of is wide enough, complexity-wise, etc, to not end up repeating itself or becoming a stock this side kills this side environment... The only example I could think of would be one based off LOTR and The Sil...

Fallout-ish one might work also...

Simply put, no. A post apocalyptic RPG might work, but not something expressly tied to the Fallout series.

Well, considering my first idea for an RPG is going to not happen, I've decided another! How about we do a doomsday RPG?

Well actually, it could work. I have been thinking, and I discussed this with the staff somewhat, about the possibility of limited life RPGs. RPGs that are designed to only go on for X amount of time. It would allow the RPG to stage a climactic event at some point, to tie everything in together. Maybe a final battle between good and evil or whatever. I imagine in something like a fallout or generic dooms day RPG, it could be some sort of central goal that everyone is aiming for. it COULD result in a specific media RPG working. What do you guys think?

I like it. I wouldn't mind that. Besides, if it does have an end, that'd be epic.....

Limited life RPGs are something I support, though I'm still skeptical about specific media RPGs...

Well, my little idea for this sort of RPG was actually going to go sort of like this:

You, the player, are playing to role of a god/godess. The goal you have to achieve is to cause chaos on multiple worlds, while at the same time controlling characters you make to try and survive destruction and disasters caused by others. Just don't expect to last very long out on the playing field... >:L

Also, another factor of this is that it's not going to be your average survival thingy. Considering the player will both CAUSE the deaths of many and destruction while trying to have their own characters SURVIVE it. Kinda like a post-apoc thing. Basically meteors, zombies, nuclear fallouts, volcanoes, tsunamis, etc...

"George is tired"

Player 2: "Athena casts Giant falling rock"
