"Information..." Deka hissed, his visible eye narrowing. "More so, I do it as payment for the right to live here, temporarily..."

"Grappling hook, sure. But before we do that we need to do some scouting....and sort out a way to clear our path beforehand. Then again. I AM a Knight of Valenhad. I could speak to the guards at the gate when I arrive there and open up our path that way. They wouldn't risk damaging their ties with my home Kingdom over such a petty thing" answered Andruil simply. he hated the prospect of staying in this city too long as well...

Deka held up his hand mid-sentence. "No need to hide..." he said, shaking his head slightly. He pulled his physical form back into its core, before silently melting down into a shadow, able to hide among the natural shadows provided by the large buildings...

As the last couple of boats disappeared from view, the peasants all went back to their regular duties, while pairs of royal guards on horseback patrolled both the capital city and all the other villages and towns within the kingdom. Farmers started to pull vegetables from the ground, while plucking fruits from the trees within the fields, as townspeople were either trading at a local market or working at home...

"Very impressive," Draco says. "Get ready, though. I'll be out in a minute or two."

"I'll be waiting," Deka's voice echoed to Draco, the Shade hoping he hadn't bit off more than he could chew; he didn't want to expand a lot of energy on this task...

'It might work,' Arsenic replied with a nod. 'But there's the matter of getting past those beetle...things. Bet you anything you like they're still around.'

Draco nods before he heads back towards the palace.....

Drakun II sits comfortably on his throne, pondering the events of the day....

As the fleet pushed further into the fog, the storm itself grew fiercer along with the massive waves striking the boats. Rain soon began crashing down upon the decks of the ships, as the wind pressing against the sails blew harder than it was while massive lightning bolts struck all around the fleet of ships...

"From what i saw i believe they depend heavily on scent. I made sure that wouldn't be a problem. alleys are synonymous with the scent of poverty and alcohol. and in a city this large, that's a strong stink. not to mention the cloak i covered you in is covered in dust. mangles your scent. They won't recognise it. that helps me too, in addition to the fact they don't register me as an enemy yet. they never encountered me" answered Andruil with a smirk...

Meanwhile, the Dragon's Pride Inn keeper stood by as his dead wife was taken to the morgue, a gaping hole in her throat now that the knife had been removed. he looked at the blade in his grip, his hands trembling with controlled rage and grief. the blade seemed to radiate a cold field around it, chilling him to the bone. and while it was in his grip, he seemed to hear strange, unintelligable whispers around him, having no source. yet strangely, he had this feeling, scratching at the back of his mind. the blade had an allure. he wanted to keep it. "I'll make 'em pay for what they did to you Erin... ALL of them...i swear it" he muttered, his voice breaking as he said the words, before sitting on the bed they had shared, alone, his head in his hands, one finger hooked around one of the numerous finger-holes in the blade...

"Ready the bows, bring those things down," ordered a Hurskarl, "Don't, we wouldn't be doing them any service, we shoot arrows and it will either hit them or the bats in which case they will plummit to the ground and die," Stated Lokar. "Lets just try and salvage what we can and go, that stalled us and with most of the towns folk departed their army will be alerted to our presance in no time," ordered Lokar with slight guilt and tiredness. The soldiers followed the command and went about gathering up their pillaged goods and food, just as the Ox carts arrived and began loading them on the carts for the long haul back home.
"We all go about our daily lives, waiting for the next big thing, the next cool trend, even the smallest bits of info on anything happening, but what we're really waiting for... is for something interesting to happen to us, thats what draws us to the rich and famous... we want to be like them... I don't, I'm fine with who I am... and you should be too" - RT3

"We cannot rissssk showing oursssselvesss jussst yet," the Ra'zac hissed, the pair of cloaked creatures standing in a now-abandoned alleyway. "We have already been nearly compromisssed by the elf." "Then I will assist you," a much deeper, more threatening voice growled from the darkness. "Then, I will speak with this... Draco character. Soon, his armies will fly Zazikel's banner, and we will be one step closer to our goal!"

A couple of shadowy forms fly through the fog, only appearing visible when lightning struck near the odd objects soaring through the sky. "Sir, are you seeing this?" one crew member asked a ship's captain, who simply replied, "dragons." "Man the ballistas! Bring those beasts down!" another man said from a nearby ship, as a third crew member replied, "no! Wait and see what they do, they might not attack..."

Arsenic nodded. 'It seems like a sound plan. I'm ready when you are, then.' He put the sliver of metal back in its place.

Desrium slips the blade back into its sheathe with a quick metalic scrape before securing it onto his back, the black metal glimmering in the sunlight over the pond. With his weapon cleaned,Desrium felt a sense of satasfaction. Afterall, his sword was his only possesion, not counting the armored suit that encased him. It only felt...right to keep it in good condition. It had proved useful beyond self defense and Desrium was proud to weild the strange blade. "Ill be sure to put my skill with it to good use" Desrium thought, glancing to the sky and wondering if there was a trace of the other being still clinging to Aster, however unlikely it might be. How would Desrium ever know if he had done what the entity had wanted? "I guess all I can do is do my best." He looked to Aviva, waiting until the dragon was ready to leave

"It's a bit out of my way, but follow me," Aviva growled. With that she unfurled her wings and took off, circling over the area a couple of times before heading off towards the edge of the forest.

Andruil stood up, looking round at his room. opening a dresser, he looked carefully at the insides. a smirk graced his features at what he found. the inside of the dresser was using tar-lined pieces of wood to hold the corners together. this inn being as old and run down as it was, the tar had long since begun to crumble. pulling a curved dagger from a strap accross his chest, he used it to cut out the remaining tar, before pulling the wooden stick free. "You're going to need this" said Andruil with a smirk as he closed the dresser, handing the stick to Arsenic...
