The sword of the dead guard impaled the one who had spoken, Deka driving it through his back and lungs, before it burst out his chest, stained in bright red blood. Deka pulled it out quickly, blood flowing freely from the wound as the second guard fell to the floor, before quickly dispatching the remaining guard, the sword moving in a deadly arc across his neck, beheading him, now openly visible to the King...

The king notices the deaths of his guards, fear in his eyes before he draws his rapier and adopts a fighting stance. "Help! Somebody!"

"Knight of Valenhad, eh? Very rare that such a person comes over to Draxon's borders, let alone the city of Freyr-Lunge itself." The guard motions to the person next to Andruil. "May I ask who your partner is?"

The two Ra'zac, disguised as entertainers thanks to Zazikel's intervention, watch the scene from a nearby alley, trying to act inconspicuous. "Well, that's just great," the man said. "I thought we were going to DISTRACT the guards, not have the d*mn shadow-thing kill them!" "Eh, it was entertaining to me." "Wouldn't you rather have done it yourself?" "...good point."

"Sevrin Dalton. A maternal relative of a noble in Valenhad. I was sent here as a favour to the noble to be honest. his last relatives here passed away recently, and the noble is his only remaining family. Had a nightmare of a day tracking him down. In any case, I'm to deliver him to Lord Rubius Bonde of Tremaine, Valenhad" answered Andruil calmly...

The guard replies, "Alright. Crank open the gates!" The gates slowly begin to open, not all the way, but just enough for the two people to walk through. "Now, move along. We can't compromise the lockdown any longer."

Andruil nodded respectfully to the guard. "My gratitude soldier. It's nice to know the Draxon military cooperates with foreign forces. many other nations tend not to" he said, before heading forward, through the entrance, climbing onto Furax once they had passed so the gates could be closed, helping Arsenic on as well, before riding off towards Valenhad. He was lucky Furax was such a large horse, and Arsenic and himself relatively light. otherwise there'd be no hope for the stallion to carry them both...

The guard nods. "indeed. Sometimes people- hold on. What's going on over there?" "Looks like a fight, sir!" the other guard on the gate says. "Well, don't stand there, go check it out!" the other guard replies. The guard ndos before rushing down the stairs and heading in that direction........

"I'm sorry for this. It's nothing personal..." said Deka, before he moved quickly, lunging at the lone King as he cried for help, stabbing the stolen sword at him in a straight thrust, stepping forward for momentum and leverage...

Desrium let out a guttral grunt as he leapt over a large mossy log, fallen at an angle across his path. He landed on the other side of it with a loud rustle into the underbrush, pushing through it at great speed. He rarely slowed down. He would only stop if the bushes and shrubs tangled together, forming a literal wall that was half his height or more. Even then, the obstacles didnt last long, he'd pry them apart with his suprising strength, his metal covered hands grabbing the vegetation and ripping the plants apart so he can pass through. He kept on the dragon's trail, seeing her through the breaks in the tree top.

"May valor find you all, men" he said to the guards, before moving on. as much as he wanted to help, he couldn't risk his friend's life by delaying longer. his mission was not as a law enforcer here. that was the guards' duty...

Drkun II felt the blade peirce him. Intense pain went through his head. He could feel blood dripping from the wound. His vision was darkening. He drops the rapier with a thud upon the ground, before he slumps over. The last thing he sees is a couple civilians jumping onto his assailant, trying to take him down, before all goes black.......

Deka went down with the civilians, not struggling in the least, as he was brought to the ground. Relying on the fact that the people hadn't yet gotten a good look at him, his body started pulling inwardly on itself, slipping into its core...

The civilians are shocked upon seeing what the being was doing. They even leapt to their feet and backed up in terror....

The guard continued running, nearing the sight of the fight......

The flock of Gandiors flew over the treetops toward the mining town in the distance. By the mining town, there were several large spires that jutted out from the main mountains by the town. There was one of the few places in Germania, let alone all of Aster, where Gandiors congregated to breed. It was already the end of the bredding season, and if this flock was lucky, then maybe there would be one or two females looking or a flock to join there...

By now, Trajan's late breakfast had ended, and Dioen had been sent into the depths of the Castle to undergo Pope Training. Trajan knew from speaking with Jeetis years back that Pope Training for ANYONE was a very long and difficult process, and for Dione, it would be especially hard, due to her being the 1st female Pope in Germanian history. Before his death, Jeetis hadn't taught Dione anything about how to be a good pope, due to him having been busy preparing for next week's sermon and helping out the poor and the needy...

The whole town of Tristan knew that there would be no church service today. Earlier, a messanger had rode through the entire city, crying out, "Today's church service is canceled! The new pope is undergoing Pope Training until further notice!" For the townspeople, this wasn't something they wanted to hear. For them, skipping a church service, no matter how bad or boring the pope, was an unpardonable sin, and on they didn't want to commit. The people in the town were so busy with heir daily lifes that they failed to notice a certain Pope from Susano, tired, scratched up, exhausted, and hurrying as fast as he could to the main Castle...

After some time had past and the frightened animals had calmed down enough to handle the Northmen had started to load supples onto the first arriving Ox Carts, the most important and the thusly the first of all to be stored on an Ox cart in any situation is food and followed herd animals that can't travel far like goats. Then in the middle is more common supples, now unlike most Northmen Clans who would have treasure and gold loaded in the middle. Lokar knew that if you have the gold at the back then if someone catchs up to you and they want what you have, treasure will distract them long enough to pull away again, not to mention to carry it with you will definetly slow you down. So more practical goods are kept in the middle like wood, tools, and captured weapons to be studied and if useful, repurposed (the Northmen are actually very adaptable and will change to meet the requirments to survive but that doesn't mean that they don't like luxurious lives in times of peace). There wasn't much gold in the town as it were so they cared little anyway, a warrior could just as easily make up a shortage of gold in return for tradable goods and even a small cord of wood can get you ample provisions as good strong timber is somewhat of a rarity in the North and wood farther south is better for building and repairs while northern wood is merely used for fires and if theres no good wood to be had, simple patchs for holes.

Deka finished reverting to his true form, disappearing in the shadow of the small building he had used to kill the guards, leaving the shocked civilians around the spot he had been moments ago, where the dying King lay...

the guard runs over to where the fighting is, while the civilians begin to cry uncontrollably. "What's the problem, citizens?" "Look.... look for yourself!" The guard looks where the civilians are, before a look of horror comes across his visage. "By Greshlynk above...... the king! The king has been murdered!" Other citizens, upon hearing this, rush over to where the knig lays, looks of horror and fear upon their faces. Some were shocked by the king's death; others feared what would happen when Draco came to power; others felt something was odd about the whole incident, almost as if it was planned.

Ikargu slowly began to awake as he was pecked by something relatively small, before blowing a puff of air from his nostrils onto the animal, startling it. His eyes soon opened, the dragon seeing a young griffon right in his face, before starting to growl at it, warning it to leave the cave. The youngling rushed outside, screeching and chirping while starting to fly off, the noises loud enough to wake Sarah up easily despite the distance between the two...
