Sarah returns to Ikargu, before hugging his leg. "Father.... it's terrible! The king..... h-he's dead! Someone killed him!" She continues to sob uncontrollably. A guard familiar to Ikargu approaches the dragon. "I am sorry Ikargu, but I msut ask that you leave," Ferdinand says. "The kindgom is in no condition for visitors."

"I see, Ferdinand. Me an Sarah will leave now," Ikargu said, before adding on as he lowered his form for his child to get on, "also, please try and keep safe until we're able to return, friend. And I'm soryr about that, daughter, but there is nothing we can do now. Maybe, had we come earlier, we could've saved him, but it's too late..."

At the gates of the sealed city sat a crow, head twitching in various directions as it looked inward, its gaze seeming to center around the commotion within. Lifting off from the gate, the avian creature soared onward, eventually coming to a house overlooking the scene, landing on the roof of the structure. From its perch, the crow could see the fallen king and those that gathered to mourn him. Head twitched randomly, the bird hopped to the edge of the roof, spying a dragon, of all things, nearby...

After a few moments, the crow took off from the structure, soaring toward the palace. Obviously looking for something, the bird landed near the entrance to the palace, hopping around on the ground as it got closer...

Ikargu went his usually pace as he flew, taking him and his daughter back home and soon said telepathically to her, "Sarah, I'm sorry the king is dead, but there is nothing we can do other than hope the kingdom itself doesn't crumble down from the loss..."

As the bird hopped over to the entrance, it looked between the two guards on either side of it. After a few seconds, the guard on the left was seemingly paralyzed, staring off blankly without moving a muscle. The other was in a similar state, then, slowly, reached over to the door and pulled it open. As the crow hopped inside, the door was shut behind it, and the guards returned to normal, as if nothing ever happened...
