Elly stood her ground on the branch, the female revenant gazing right back into her rival's eyes. Her scythe was at the ready, prepared to strike at any moment... "You wish to have them to yourself? We shall see soon enough, Crom. But perhaps, we could form... a truce, and split the humans up between ourselves." The other revenant hissed at him, not backing down. Both were equal in terms of power, and they had fought before... Elly didn't want to fight it, but perhaps if she could bluff him, trick him into not attacking her or them now...

As Yukari led the way toward the APC, getting closer and closer to it, Rebin looked back at Damian and saw his worried look. "What's wrong? Is there something following us?" He asked, now beginning to feel nervous himself...

Crom hissed, the shadowy creature's eyes shiftign down towards the leaving humans, before shifting back up to Elly.

"You're wasting my time," Crom croaked, before he melted into the shadows and continued pursuing the humans. Truce? Crom made no negotiations... especially with a rival!

"I dunno," Damian said. "But something doesn't feel right in the air....."

"Not bad" said Jacob as he walked out, looking around at the changes that had occurred with the ship. "This kind of functionality would've been useful when I was in Korea" said the Mercenary amusedly as he put on his shades, a strap extending from the ends of it around his head. Its primary purpose was protection, though it did serve to bring back some pleasant memories. the 'good old days' as they were...

"Korea?" Kane replied, turning the bubble screen to the cyborg. His voice was distorted somewhat, deeper and somewhat mechanical, but still conveyed the inflection in his tone. "What were you doing in Korea that needed- actually, never mind that. You dealt with dinosaurs in 2010" he said; the proximity alarm buzzing to life seconds later. "Well that was quick" he added, taking a look at the scans. A large hostile was approaching, the Felicity's long range imaging system showing the roaring giant's visage. "...and now you'll be dealing with that"

Elly swore under her breath as Crom left. Damnit. She needed those humans... But a fight against Crom, here and now, would ruin her plan... Sighing, the revenant continued on, following the humans... but keeping a slightly larger space between her and them than she was before...

"Really? Let's hope your wrong about that... we've had a rough start already to this expedition, and I don't want more sh-"

"You two back there mind catching up? I'm sure the local predators here would love to keep you company." Yukari shouted back at them, annoyed that they had slowed down. Quickly, Rebin hurried up to catch back up to her... they were getting close to the APC now... they were almost there.

"At least I brought my own gun," Damian growled, shooting a glare at both Rebin and Yukari as he quickly caught up to them.

"HJow much farther to the APC?"

Suddenly, something could be seen shuffling quickly in the shadows of a tree, which caught Damian's attention.

"Anyone else see that?..." Damian said somewhat quietly....

"Brilliant" said Jacob sarcastically as he glanced in the direction the beast approached from. And he thought he had seen the last of saurian foes at the end of the Resurrection Incident. But what fun would there be in being right all the time he thought as his enhanced eyes zoomed in on the beast in the distance...

The beast seen in the Felicity's long range imaging and Jacob's enhanced eyesight was nothing short of a monster. With massive, ridged ear-horns, a gaping maw filled with pointed, cone shaped teeth, and muscular "wings" that served as its forearms, this beast was the be reckoned with. The muscular wyvern stormed through the desert, heading towards where it assumed the intruders were, from where it had last seen them enter his domain....

"Excuse me" said Jacob casually as he walked towards the edge of the mesa upon which the Felicity was landed, before leaping off its edge, plummeting to the ground 50 feet below, landing in a kneel, before rising to his feet, staring right at the charging beast in the distance, walking in its direction as he drew his assault rifle...

Rebin also saw the thing, but Yukari, more focused on getting back to the APC, which she could now see the clearing it was in, didn't notice. " What is it? What did you see?" Yukari asked. "Please tell me it's not those robots again..."

"No... i don't think it's them... it's something else." Rebin told her, both their voices being kept low... Yukari put the tracker away and readied the plasma gun... just in case...

The armored scientist followed, recording systems integrated into his suit active. He passed through the repellent field unscathed. Unlike Jacob, he did not take the plunge down the sheer drop. Instead turned around and eased himself over the edge, metal gloves ripping at the rock face as Kane plummeted. It was only when he neared the sandy bottom did he deploy the forward anchor points in his boots, punching into the rock and gouging the stone, slowing to a stop. With little more than ten feet left to drop, Kane kicked off of the plateau and let himself fall, landing perfectly upright and casting a ball of dust aside from underneath. He turned around and made his way after Jacob though keeping his distance, recording the imminent clash.

Stored in a compartment on his back was the Tri-Blade utility tool...

The vicious tigrex was rapidly closing in on the two, the beast soon emerging over a massive sand dune, sending blasts of sand scattering in every direction with each thunderign step. The beast soon stopped at the top of the sand dune. The rampaging titan looked down upon the humans, before he let out an earth-rending roar, sending hunks of stone and a wall of sand flying outwards in all directions. THe beast's grim gaze showed that it was clearly intent on killing them, and had no intentions to back down.....

Jacob wasted no time, taking aim as a single black projectile soared through the air with a thunk, the grenade slamming into the Tigrex's head mid-roar, detonating, a brutal shockwave accompanied by white flames exploding against the beast's face, black smoke trailing in its wake...

"New animal observed, saurian in appearance with the peculiar addition of a wing structure...highly aggressive...reacts poorly to high powered explosives I would imagine" Kane narrated into a recorder, diligently taking verbal notes on the confrontation for future study...

The beast grumbled in pain and anger, the flames scorching the tigrex's thick, fire resilient scales. Drool dripped form the Tigrex's maw, its mouth somewhat scorched from the flames splashing in his mouth, before the beast lunged off of its roost, its tonnage hurtlnig towards Jacob. The desert-dwellign tyrant was intenet on crushing the man!

Jacob leapt upwards over the Tigrex as it dove at him, landing on its back as he drove both fists into its hide, digging under two of the ridges on its back and gripping tightly, beginning to try and rip them free of its hide. He had no qualms with dismantling this beast one body part at a time...

Grond's maw spat out globs of spittle as his massive mouth split open, revealing rows of iron-crushing teeth. The super tigrex let out a powerful roar, easily rattling Jacob's very body with its sheer power, before the massive beast rolled over, attempting to crush the man under its massive bulk....

The unwieldy nature of the beast gave Jacob plenty of warning, the man leaping hard as the beast flipped onto its back, coming down on its chest with a bone-shattering punch, the blow intended to weaken or cripple it, rather than kill it. He had the opportunity to rip right into its ribcage, destroy or remove its heart or otherwise cause fatal damage, but he didn't want to end it before Kane could gather data on its behaviour...

Seismic readers in the NT-SB were already analyzing the impacts of the pseudodragon, calculating possible weight ranges that the animal could fall into. It was positively massive at 30 feet long. Measuring the forces it could impart would be an interesting task for the scientist within the armor...

Grond snarled angrily as the punch struck his thick, battle hardened scales. The attack failed to break his thick scales, but the damage was certainly felt, due to the powerful impact. Snarling, the tigrex inhaled deep, before unleashign an earth rending roar, the sheer power of the roar sending Jacob off of the titan's chest and sprawling on the floor. Grodn rolled back onto his feet, letting out a cough due to the force of the impact from Jacob's landing. Snarling, the Tgirex jammed its paw deep into the ground, before yanking its arm upwards, ripping up a wall of sand and stones, sending it flying in Jacob's general direction....
