Here's an Idea with it being the future and all as part of a small bit of backstory the City is new, being built as a Self sustaining city of the future (Brink referance I know but a good idea still) New Eden of course it's but a suggestion

The thought occured to me to suggest Fortuna City as a name. gives a similar mental image to the city we're going for. problem is there's a real city by that name. Fortuna City, California. still an option though if people don't mind that it has a real world counterpart....

There's a difference between being around for years and being a common occurence. If someone wants to make something that is more then just a fresh super hero, they should, but they can't say it was making itself known because society still doesn't know heroes/villains exist.

There's a way to make it a WOW occurence AND preserve the players' freedom.

Yeah I think that's best.

Last I checked, this was a super hero RPG.

And if you tried to do that in a super hero RPG I would have to kill you.

If you want your character's mutation to originate in space from an alien or radiation or whatever, fine. But you can't STAY in space. The RPG doesn't allow people to RP outside one city, let alone the damn planet.
