The raptor shakilly made his way across the room, the smell of blood reaching him from well in advance as he went. When he came to the doorway, he took note of the trail of vital fluid and followed it with his eyes, spotting the body of a Deinonychus. Even in the dark, Aircrest saw the dark red crescent slit that went across its throat. His eyes narrowed at it. What had been so different between him and the larger dromeosaur? Why did he get a light scratch instead of a fatal slash? If anything, he should be the one laying in a pool of his own blood, and the Deinonychus the one coming across his body. After all, his attacker was probably a Deinonychus, given its size and quills...though come to think of it, he never saw such long quills on any kind of raptor before...

"Be thankful that you'll live to prove that promise to me, Osiris" hissed Thrasher coldly as he walked away, snarling "Redtooth. I want you and Osiris to do a border patrol. I will be waiting here for your return". and with that, he walked towards the edge of the clearing, laying in the shade of the trees as the family dispersed, quietly discussing the events, a few giving the dead Spinosaur a fearful look as they left. Thrasher smiled inwardly, pleased. Now he had both loyalty and fear on his side. now it was time he hunted down the remnants of the Tyrannosaur family...he could not let Spectre's young, his mate, or even his parents, survive. any that had escaped the raid would have to be found and eradicated...

The Elder Raptor eyed Aircrest from the shadows, amused. Never fails thought the Elder with an inward chuckle, as he left his spot, disappearing deeper into the facility, deciding on the next trick he'd try with the intruder...perhaps he could outright scare it to death...he'd have to find out...

Redtooth quietly nodded, then hissed to Osiris, "Come on. Unless, of course, you plan on doing that again..." He stomped off, motioning for his cousin to follow him...

"Yes Sir" he hissed as he approached Redtooth and the two began to patrol the border. Osiris had always felt bad for Redtooth, being related to Thrasher wasn't pleasant and the thought of being his brother made Osiris cringe. "Maybe he was right, maybe Thrasher will be the downfall of us all" he thought to himself as he remember the image of the spinosaur that Thrasher had killed. It's dead eyes seeming to follow Osiris as he passed the body. The patrol had gone smoothly until Osiris had noticed a set of Tyrannosaur tracks. "These are fresh meaning that the Tyrannosaur can't be far" Osiris growled to Redtooth

"You've seen better days" Aircrest mumbled, turning head to the side to pry his gaze from the dead Deinonychus, its mouth agape with its tongue laying on the metal floor amidst a puddle of blood flowing from its cut throat. Its eyes were clouded over, staring at the leaf covered walls. The green raptor headed away from the body, looking about the room. He was on edge, ready to jump at the slightest hint of an attack. He wouldnt die here like his fellow dromeosaur...

Redtooth sniffed the tracks carefully, then responded, "These are large, likely an adult. Just the two of us will have a hard time killing it, if it even IS one of the Rexes we killed before. We're here to scout and report back to Thrasher, nothing more. If you want to go after it, be my guest..." As far as he could tell, the tracks weren't going particularly close to their territory, and he doubted any member of the Rex's family would dare venture this close after what they had done...

" Your right. I just wanted be sure, after todays incident I don't want to be on Thrasher's bad side" he growled. The thought of Thrasher angry made him shudder.

The large Deinosuchus continued to swim through the swampy water to where THrasher was. He could smell the stench of Spinosaur all around him, and he could have sworn that he could hear them... "Seems like I'm getting to the source of this foul kingdom" Sawtooth hissed to himself as he continued to move forward...

By now, both Blackside and Monozu had finished their meal in record time and had moved back off toward the plains. The female T-rex laid down on her side, once again watching the herds of herbivores graze peacefully. The male Suchomimus stood guard, looking all around, incase some alrger predator were viewing both of them as food...

The Edmontosaur herd continued to run, before stopping. They could hear and smell another Edmonto herd nearby, and they knew that the only way they could survive was to join with them, with their current leader dead. THe herd began to bellow out to the nearby herd, to let them know that they were here to join up with them...

this room was more of an office. it was small, and a large bookcase decorated each wall, though one had fallen forward, seemingly stopping dead as it landed on the backs of two chairs, the table between them still having two cups propped on it, though whatever was in them had long since rotted away. the desk at the end of the room had deep gouges in it, and behind it was a fallen office chair, a skeleton lying in it, severely mangled, the skeleton of a Raptor lying beside it, the human's hand wrapped around a small firearm, rusted and corroded from years of neglect and disuse. On the other end of the room to the entrance was a door leading down a narrow corridor, doors on either side, darkness dominating the room aside from a single doorway, which let out a lance of piercing light, the dust in the room making the beam of light visible, the door that had covered that spot laying in a heavily mangled splintered heap across from the entrance, against the opposite wall of the corridor. unlike the faded light in the lab, the light from that doorway near the end of the corridor was clear and strong. the darkness separating Aircrest and the doorway seemed ominous and foreboding, the excessive growth of plants having been especially bad here, seeming to originate from the light, vines plastered across the floor, walls and ceiling...

Crusher, meanwhile, had been walking alongside the stream, the sound of the running water calming him. water had always calmed him. he could remember one of his first memories was being curled up against his mother's flank at night, the trickle of the shallow river near the nest having lulled him to sleep. The young Tyrannosaur searched around, wondering if he could find a source of entertainment...

Sawtooth raised his head up out of the water, before looking around. The area was becoming more open, though it was still in the swamp, and he could hear a river not too far away. There were Spinosaur tracks all over, and the stench of Spinosaur was now overpowering... He was getting close... and he knew it.

Osiris and Redtooth continued their patrol which had been uneventful so far. "Does it make you nervous that Thrasher is in charge?" he asked, the patrol was boring so he thought small talk would help the time pass "Personally the idea that your brother is in charge terrifies me" he hissed.

The Allosaur duo continued to feed on their kill, happy to have food in their bellies...

Ba'al began to mvoe quicker, the smell of the edmontosaurs becoming ever stronger. Soon, he began to hear their calls, before running in that direction. The Tarbosaur's thirst for blood was slowly eating away at his mind, desperate to find food....

Aircrest surveyed the room, a huffing noise escaping him as he sniffed the air. He smelled nothing too recent here, though old scents lingered, such as trails left by compies. At one point there were a lot of them situated in this room, so why were there none now? Usually they would have squawked and scurried at his arrival. "More. Damn. Questions" Aircrest thought bitterly just before he caught sight of the skeletons tucked away at the other end of the room. His keens eyes spotted something near the unknown animal, the degraded object looking like it should be part of the building's walls. "Now what the hell is that?" He wondered before narrowing his eyes. He was starting to regret venturing into the facillity. He didnt find any answers, though he didnt expect to find any. Just as he didnt expect to be pestered by more unanswerable questions. With a snarl, the raptor made his way to the doorway and stepped through it into the dark corridor, heading towards the light. Maybe it was a way out?

"Osiris!" Redtoth growled. "More talk like that, and you're the next one on Thrasher's hitlist! I'm not going to tell anyone if you keep it up, but I can tell you now that someone will..." He didn't bother giving his own opinion. It wouldn't have mattered anyway...

"I know I shouldn't say anything and I do trust your brother but I can't shake the feeling that this isn't going to end well for any of us" He growled.

Redtooth sighed. "Look, telling me this isn't going to change anything. Thrasher is now in charge, and that's the way it's going to stay. Unless you plan on overthrowing him?" He eyed Osiris curiously, but not with any overt suspicion. He doubted that the Spinosaurus could beat Thrasher with anything short of a miracle...

"No, I would be a fool to even attempt it and besides I don't have a death wish" he growled. "I know that me telling you this isn't going to change anything and as long as your brother rules I will respect his authority" he growled. Redtooth had always been the complete opposite of his brother, it baffled Osiris on how they could possibly be related. "Besides maybe Thrasher will change for the better, I doubt it though" he hissed

Redtooth scratched his snout, groaning. "My suggestion is that you stop worrying about it. Yes, maybe Thrasher will get a little nicer, but I doubt it. We live with what we have, you know that."

"I know your right" he growled. " I always did worry about things to much" he hissed. "At least the hunt for the survivors of the Tyrannosaurs family will keep him preoccupied for a while" he growled, he then scratched his snout.

Sawtooth reached as far as he could travelling through the water. He sniffed the air, smelling the pugnant stench of Thrasher just up ahead. The crocodile hauled himself out of the water and began to high-walk to the direction the stench came from. The Deinosuchus moved forward, both legs held up semi-erectly, allowing for him to move without having to crawl on his belly. His small eyes looked around, trying to see if he could spot any Spinosaurs nearby... If some Spinosaur did try to stop him before he got to the "leader", then so be it... He would personally enjoy tearing the poor sap apart, if only to quench his thirst for Spinosaurid blood...

The Edmontosaurus herd moved through the brush, before finally meeting with the other herd. This herd was three times as large as the current one, and had 5 young ones following along. The large bull that was in charge of this herd approached the small group of 7 adults and 2 young ones. He eyed them suspiciously, before letting out a low, continuous moan. The rest of the herd also caught on with the moan, thus accepting the newcomers into their ranks...
