Red contiued on beginning to get bored until he started sensing loud rythmic thumping starting off far away but definetly moving towards him. Red was curious but had also made the incorrect identification and thought it was a large herbivore, such was not the case. It also diddn't help that the wind was blowing against him and even inside the forest the wind being to ones back was always a disadvantage.

Noir lowered his head and observed the terrified Compy as the little morsal shivered in fear where he stood. Letting out a annoyed grunt, the black Baryonyx turned and walked up the stones and onto the upper bank of the river. Verde let out a loud sigh of relief and frustration.... all because he didn't get to steal a piece of fish! Verde never though about his own life being risked if he tried to steal from a bigger carnivore. The Compy then turned away, his head lowered and dragged his body, feeling defeated. As the Compy turned and started to walk off, something crashes onto the depressed Compy. Falling flat on the ground, he lifted his head to see what force made him fall..... and by god, it was the half-end part of the fish! As Verde's eyes widened in joy, bouncing and skipping around the meat, Noir was watching the happy Compy. Having the other half of the fish, Noir then swallowed the rest and walked towards a large tree, which gave off a large shadow to hide from the heat of the sun. Noir then layed himself in the shade, his side against the tree. As the Baryonyx layed his head down on the cool grass, he closed his eye and slowly started to fall asleep. Verde looked over at the direction where the black Baryonyx dissappeared into the forest. The Compy stretched out his neck and sqauwked loudly " Thank you!" The Baryonyx heard the Compy, letting out a soft smile...

Soaked and shivering, Steeltalon gave herself a vigorous shake as she finally managed to haul herself out of the water. "Okay," she muttered. "Stupid idea." She shook again, scattering water droplets from her scales. She padded to a patch of sunlight, welcoming its warmth. Resting her head, she let out a heavy sigh and closed her eyes. She was so tired - she hadn't gotten much sleep the night before, and the hunt had taken a lot out of her. The struggle to get out of the stream had taken the last of her energy, and the sun really was warm. If she just...rested her eyes for a bit....she could head to the underground cave when she was dry....

After Verde devoured the fist with such glutton, he sighed and burped loudly. Now wanting to "lose some pounds", Verde jumped up and bolted down the rocks, and just as he noticed a female velociraptor, Steeltalon, and and his jaw dropped. As he would rather pay attention to any female carnivore.... he lost his footing and strated to tumble and roll down the rocky hill. Every time he smacked against a rock, he squealed " Ouch! Ow! Mmph! Ahhh!". As his body finally crashed down on the ground, he still kept rolling.... towards the lying velociraptor.

Razorjaw just couldn't understand it,he had expected the small dinosaur to at least be eaten by the larger black baryonyx, but the real thing that stupefied him was that not only did the larger dinosaur leave it also left the smaller one half of the fish!

Razorjaw didn't have much idea on the concept of sharing,in fact if baffled him.He just couldn't understand why one carnivore would give food to another, let alone the bigger one giving food to the smaller.

He watched the compy eat the fish then bolt down the rocks and noticing a nearby resting velociraptor, apparently captivated the small dinosaur lost it's footing and rolled down a hill, smashing against rocks on the way down to the raptor.

Razorjaw found this quite amusing and watched on while he drank from the creek.Intent on seeing what would happen next.Amusement was an emotion rarely experienced by his kind and so he would enjoy every second of it.

"Not bad. Good guess, but not quite" hissed Ripper as he circled the tanks. nodding towards one of the odd skeletons on the ground, he continued. "Those things made this" hissed the Elder. "And the containers? Chances are that was how your grandparents were born" he finished, eyeing the Raptor...

"....But why?" growled Crusher curiously, unable to understand why the predator couldn't hunt. especially considering it seemed to come naturally to him....even if it was somewhat reckless...

"...What? How?!" Was the black striped raptor's exasperated response. "What do you mean...they made this?" he gestured to the skeletons lying about the lab. "And those...things!?" He barked, trying to wrap his mind around what he was told. Were these the answers he sought after? Or was the quilled raptor insane, driven mad by his prolonged solitude? The green raptor didnt know what to think, and his expression showed his desperation for clarity

Diablo fell silent, he didn't want to answer the question. The Rugops blankly stared at the ground, not willing to open up to some random trex he met.

"Those things....humans....Were far more intelligent than any raptor. Do you think these structures were always here? it was their doing. I was once the same as the things in those containers...tanks, as I remember them calling them" hissed the Raptor, his tone and expression completely serious. "They created the first of our kind on this island. It was only later that we broke free of their grip, and killed those of them we could reach"...

Crusher cocked his head expectantly, waiting for an answer. though after a few moments a groan in his stomach reminded him of his own hunger. getting an idea, he grunted. "Alright. Nice meeting you, Diablo. bye" he growled before turning and heading into the jungle at just under a sprint, as the scorching mid-day sun above glared down on the island. perfect time to hunt...

Suddenly understanding washed over the raptor as he moved up beside the elder. The strange devices, the rusting shells- he knew they were not the doing of any dinosaur. He stared at the tanks, at the lifeless blobs within, a solemn expression on his face. They were the creation of some strange creatures, creatures with the abillity to tamper with forces beyond the raptor's comprehension to usher in new life. "Why then," Aircrest growled, looking to the rusty red raptor. "Why did you kill them if they were the reason for your existence?" He asked, now knowing why the skeletons scattered around the building had claw and teeth marks on the bones...

Ripper eyed Aircrest for a few moments, his intense gaze seeming to bore a hole into Aircrest's very soul, before the elder sighed. "Would you feel indebted to someone who keeps you in a cave half the size of this one, and prevents you from leaving?" he growled as he began to pace. "Would you feel indebted to something that would stab you with a stick that makes your entire body feel like it's on fire?" he questioned as he circled one of the tanks. "Would you feel indebted to something that forced you to live as it wanted, instead of how you wished? that treated you like an insect, to be pestered or even killed as they see fit?" growled the elder as he stomped on one of the skeletons by his feet, his clawed foot smashing right through the ribcage, a cold fury burning in the elder's eyes, a grudge he had long since tried to bury exploding in full force for a few moments...

"I guess...not" Aircrest growled, his voice low. It was just then that he realized that the rusty red elder was one of the first raptors to ever set foot on Isla Sorna. What cruelty the old raptor must have faced for him to snap like that. Surely decades must have passed since those days, where the strange creatures still lived, yet the elder's rage was as clear as day and untouched by time. Were they aware of the damage they were causing? Why would they create life if only to torture it? His gaze dropped from the containers to the floor. So this was the answer to the mystery that had followed him for so long. He made a low snarl, it was a mystery better left unsolved. Now that he knew the secret of the decaying structure, he understood why the jungle was trying to entangle it with vegetation...

Gothmog sniffed the air again and continued towards the raptor's scent. He wondered why it was alone still. "Perhaps it got lsot during a hunt," the young giga says. At only fifteen feet long himself, he's not sure if he could help the poor thnig if it needed any, but he would try...

Swiftly getting bored of the tranquility, Darkness rose, stepping off the stump with a low grunt. An idea struck him: What if the nearby water he detected earlier was part of the stream that ran past their home? It would be a way for the dark raptor to plot a route to the area in a way that Crusher could actually follow, should they need it. Happy over realizing the obvious, Darkness made his way back toward the cave entrance, where he once again found the scent of water. It wasn't very strong, indicating it wasn't the ocean or a particularly large river. After a short walk, the dark raptor's assumptions were confirmed: it was a stream, much like the one near his home, which meant his idea still had some merit. Moving to the shore, the dark raptor glanced up and down the stream to make sure the coast was clear, but unfortunately it wasn't. Some feet down the stream, he could see a raptor sleeping near the shore. Darkness frowned. Had he wandered into pack territory? He didn't feel like finding out...at least, not without Crusher beside him. As young as he was, Darkness knew the Tyrannosaur was quite the fighter. Returning to his thoughts, the dark raptor turned back to his current predicament, which had become a lot more complicated because of his discovery: How to cross the stream without waking the raptor. Wading right into it may be too noisy, but so too might be jumping across. Opting for the latter, Darkness moved as close to the edge as he could before launching himself across, landing on the sandy shore with a soft thud, before slowly making his way toward the undergrowth...

Steeltalon shifted and let out a low growl that ended in a sort of whimper in her sleep, tormented expression showing she was in the grip of a nightmare. She was muttering what sounded like "no" and "killed them all". Her gray claws sank deeply into the earth as her eyes roved wildly back and forth beneath her eyelids, seeking out her tormentor - or perhaps, an escape.

With a sigh, the Elder relaxed, his memories once again buried under a thick veil of indifference. "But you know....In spite of their mistreatment, they were fascinating creatures. more interesting than anything you can probably find today. They were strange. They had no scales or fur to protect them, and wore strange....materials over their own skin. And their creations...such strange things. the sounds they made. the husks you see lying around this place are mere shadows of what they once were" growled Ripper calmly as he began to walk through the lab slowly, beckoning Aircrest to follow...

The female Edmontosaurus thrashed about for a few moments before going limp, now dead...

Blackside looked around, the female T-rex trying to find a suitable second meal for her. her eyes locked onto a large, strange creature browsing on a lone tree. It was a large animal with a long neck and small head, like a sauropod. Unlike a sauropod, however, it was bipedal, and had a large, barrel-like gut sticking out. Attached to the creature's arms were massive, 6-foot claws that dragged down high brances to the creature's mouth, allowing it to chew the leaves. It was white, with black stipes running down its back. Blackside had never seen such a creature before...but in her mind, it would be easy prey...

Monozu, on the other hand, knew immediately that Blackside had targeted a large Therizinosaurus to prey on. He knew the dangers they could inflict on a would-be predator with their claws, but once Blackside had her mind locked onto something, there was no turning back... He simply had to help her out...

Darkness looked back at the sounds coming from the sleeping raptor, fearing he had woken it. When he realized he didn't, the dark raptor breathed a quiet sigh of relief, sticking to the edge of the brush to make his escape, should it come to that, easier. Despite the complications, he still wanted to follow the river back, and, remembering which direction he seemed to travel most in the caves, decided he had to travel downstream-towards the sleeping raptor-in order to find the section of stream he recognized. Darkness moved as quietly as possible downstream, the brush moving quietly as he did, trying to minimize the noise he made as he passed the raptor on the opposing shore...

Aircrest looked around the lab, trying to envision what it would have looked like before the overgrowth secured its grip, but being unable to. He didnt see the things the quilled one did, and never will. All he would know is the aftermath in the years that passed. "What is the point? Of the...materials?" Aircrest growled finally as he fell into step with the elderly raptor. "You dont see our kind walking around with leaves stuck to their body..." He thought before being bitterly reminded of his earlier encounter with tree sap...
