As Darkness and Crusher reached the brush, the dark raptor let out a long frustrated sigh. "Why am I not surprised...a chance meeting turns into...THIS." he growled, mostly to himself, gesturing dramatically with his clawed hands. "Do you even know how you ended up here? Because I don't." Darkness growled, giving Crusher an expectant but also frustrated gaze...

"Really? Its a bit hard out there. One minute your looking at a tree flower...or the sky, and the next-WHAM- your bones are being crushed in the jaws of a hungry carnivore, just because you took just one minute to admire something. Hell, just a few moments ago, while I was gawking at those tanks..." The raptor growled suddenly, his eyes burning in the stray light of the afternoon sun. One of his hands was extended, the clawed digits trembling as he feel silent. He calmed himself, snorting afterwards and looking to the tree.

Redtooth was continuing his patrol of the Spinos' territory, mostly just bored by this point. He had seen Thrasher kill the Deinosuchus, but wasn't particularly impressed or excited. Most large carnivores could kill the big crocodiles if they were stuck on land...

Stoneclaw and Howler had left Death Valley, looking for food (and maybe a few unfortunate dinosaurs to terrorize). Bladetooth had since returned to his territory, giving the two Raptors little more than a grunt of acknowledgement, after which they had quickly sped off in search of bigger prey than just Compies...

Valu sat and waited for the rex and his companion to leave, hissing silently to herself, "atleast I'm free from that pack. They never treated me with respect, even though I've done most of the work for them!" Grumbling, the snow-white velociraptor came out from the bushes and cocked her head befor eleaping at a tree branch, landing on it. The raptor soon began to jump upwards further through the tree, trying to get to high ground...

As Bias was sunning himself, the Deinosuchus could hear the commotion going on in the distance. The large crocodile snorted in irritance, before falling to sleep...

The large THerizinosaurus continued to browse from the tree, unaware of the T-rex and Suchomimus sneaking up behind it...

Sand Claw woke after a short nap, standing up he could feel his wounds again. Growling Sand Claw looked around to make sure he was alone, finding no signs of predators he limped over to the river. As he reached the crystal clear water he bent down and began to drink. The water filled his stomach with a false fulliness...

The allosaur duo soon settles down on the ground after feasting on their kill. "Ah... that was delicious." Goldfang grumbles. "I'm glad I have you here.... there's no way I would have been able to kill that thing alone," Pale Kaiser hisses submissively. "You're welcome, darling," Goldfang growls, a smirk on her face. "But you really need to learn to have confidence in yourself, instead of thinking you are weak." "But I am!" the albino snarls frustratedly. "I'm an albino! I can't hide, I'm not muscular- I've got nothing on my side!" "Nonsense- you are stronger than you think," Goldfang growls. "You just need to think positively about yourself. There was a long pause. "Now I know why I chose you as my mate," pale Kaiser grunts, rubbing his head against Goldfang. "I love you." "Love you, too," Goldfang replies.

Coldmoon had picked up on the fact that she might of overstayed her welcome, besides that the other T-rex was leaving already, something she found dissapointing. Either way, she slowly left for now deciding it might be best to head back to Radja at the moment anyway, before she woke up and found her gone after wandering alone by herself.

Being ignored was a normal thing for Noir, since none of the dinosaurs knew the male. He turned away with a grunt and started to walk back out the forest and back to sun-basking rock at the waterfall. Verde soon followed him, but looked back at the other carnivores, wondering why they were so uneased. But after wondering for a few seconds, Verde decides to go back to the waterfall by following the Baryonyx, feeling frustrated that they practicall ignored the old fart's (Verde's codename for Noir) question. As he made it out of the lush forest, he saw the black Baryonyx basking on his lonesome rock, but he didn't look phased by what happened. Verde tilted his head, looking concerned for the old fart. Suddenly, he had the guts to bolt himself up to the Baryonyx and stood in front of Noir's massive jaws. Verde then kicked Noir's snout and barked, " What was that all about? They just completely ignored you?" The Baryonyx woke up as his snout was kicked by the little morsal (Noir's codename for Verde), shaking his head lightly and looked at the Compy, but listened as Verde spoke. Noir answered with a grumble, " It's an obvious nature with young carnivores.... if there came someone who never met them, how would they react? I was a stranger to those juveniles, and didn't know how to react to that. So it's fine little morsal.... don't worry." Noir let out a soft smile, as Verde grunted and kicked a pebble off the rock, falling down into the water below. " That's just out right rude!" Verde squawked loudly to himself. Noir looked over at the Compy, never knowing that someone who have that kind of mindset, even for a carnivore. Even though this little Compy never knew the old Baryonyx, the little one still treated him like he was there. Noir then grunted at the Compy, " What is your name, little morsal...?" Verde answered with a squawk, " The name's Verde sir.... what's yours?" Noir answered back, " My name is Noir... It's nice to meet you."

They headed back to the waterfall, the who mis-matched dinosaurs, and Razorjaw, after a quick sniff of the air in case of danger set off after them.

The baryonyx lay on a rock, the compy darted up towards the carnivores fearsome jaws and kicked it's snout. The bary woke but did not attack instead it grumbled at started to speak with the smaller dinosaur.

While they spoke Razorjaw listened in,he heard them say "Verde" and "Noir",where these their names? They sounded like names, not names that a daspletosaurus would have been known by,but all the same they had names so they must be intelligent,at least more so than the creatures he views as food.

He thought as they posed no threat and were intelligent he might as well end all the hiding and reveal himself. The carnivore stepped out off the bushes cautiously and slowly too see how they reacted.

Hearing footsteps of another dinosaur, Noir slowly rose up and surved the area, seeing a juvanile Daspletosaurus comming towards them. Verde felt the ground shake and heard the pebbles bounce from the steps that the Daspletosaurus made. Turning around, seeing the Daspletosaur moving towards them as well, Verde's jaw dropped, his eyes widened and all they heard was.... " GAHHHHH!!!!" Verde squeaked qith freight and jolted in the bushes behind the black Baryonyx, as the Baryonyx rose up and turned to the side, making himself look more like a threat than a meal. The thing was.... the Daspletosaurus wasn't there to hunt... Standing there for longer than a minute, Noir then lowered himself in a neutral postition, signaling that he now understood. Noir then turned his head back and looked at the frightened Compy. Noir grunted, " You can come out now Verde.... this one isn't hunting at the moment." Verde let out a sigh of relief and jumped out of the bushes. " I hope you're right, yah old fart." Verde barked and stopped underneath the Baryonyx, looking up at the juvanile Daspletosaurus, then Verde chirped, " And what's a carnivore like you doing here, in the middle of the forest, ey?"

"Well...I was hunting for food....then I lost it and bumped into that Ceratosaur. then I just went from there.....still hungry though" grunted Crusher, the young Rex glancing between his environment and the Raptor, as if trying to pay attention to the traces of food and to what the Raptor was saying simultaniously. "Why're you mad though? Did I do something wrong?" he growled curiously, not understanding why Darkness was so irritated...

"One doesn't need to separate curiosity from wariness, child. In the end, they both involve paying attention to your environment" hissed Ripper calmly as he walked towards the end of the corridor, a balcony appearing to his right, the Elder walking over to it, looking down at the entrance hall, watching the growth that had begun to overtake the ground. 33 years ago he stood in this very spot, and watched as the humans that had been their captors for so long, were slaughtered. and today, as they were then, they lay in their dying positions, blood stains and pools around their mangled bodies, the only difference being the decay that had overtaken both the humans, and the facilities they had built. one day...all this would be gone. there would be no sign that the humans had ever existed here. and with it, all signs of the true story of the Dinosaurs of Isla Sorna....would disappear...

Razorjaw stared at the two and replied,"I am wondering, earlier by the waterfall your friend here(referring to Noir) not only didn't eat you but even gave some of his fish for you?"

"Why would you do this when you could have eaten the whole fish?"he asked, waiting for an answer from the baryonyx.

Darkness, sighed, shaking his head. "Not exactly a very good surprise, back there." he growled as he followed the Rex. A lot of unfortunate conclusions could've been drawn back there: Had Crusher eaten the raptor who was so kind to him? Had he come to find Darkness, and ended up discovering that Steeltalon did indeed have a pack? Fortunately that was not the case...but the confusion of the moment still got to the dark raptor...

"The only reason I came in here was curiosity!" Aircrest hissed as he bounded behind the raptor. "I would have been as dead as that Deinonychus had you felt any different than you did!" He barked, feeling another sudden surge of disappointment with himself. "Circumstance" He thought. How he hated that word...

Ripper chuckled lowly. "Not necessarily. That Deinonychus has been here before. the first time he came out of curiosity. I scared him off for interrupting my rest. He came back though, probably wanting the food that seems to gravitate towards this place. at some point he decided to come after me and attempt to kill me. Usually I just go round them. I know this place so well they'd never find me. But, knowing you were around, I didn't want to ruin my chance at some...amusement. So I gave him what he wanted. Pity he insisted on fighting to the death. Never stood a chance" explained the Raptor with a sly smirk...

"What surprise? the Ceratosaur turning up or me interrupting? or everything that seemed to turn up with me?" hissed Crusher curiously, cocking his head at the Raptor

"But- but-!" Aircrest stammered, falling silent when he realized his had no feverish retort to make. Could the elder be right? That there was more to life beyond basic survival? When he wandered the island, taking in the sights, he realized that every other moment he was preparing to run for his life. He realized that the only reason he took to the trees was that they offered a quick get away should he need one. The life he lived, despite the pride it gave him, conditioned him to be a coward, even when it concerned his own kind...

As the large herbivore grazed up on the branches of the tree, both Blackside and Monozu continued to creep up on the unsuspecting Therizinosaurus. Blackside was now in striking distance. As she was readying herself to spring...

SNAP

The herbivore stopped its browzing at that moment, before it whirled around, several leaves still in its mouth. WHat it saw were two predators that had failed to sneak up on it, the lead Tyrannosaurus having stepped on a twig. Immediately, the Therizinosaurus went into Defensive Mode, both arms spread wide apart, the 6-foot long claws ready to tear into the flesh of whatever tried to attack it.

"Just great... now we have a half-plucked oversized bird ready to kill us if we mess this up further on..." Monozu growled under his breath as he began to move to the right as Blackside moved to the left. The herbivore tried to keep its eyes on both carnivores, but with each one moving toward each side of its body...

Valu, now near the top of a tree at a safe distance from predators, rested herself, hanging on the the unusually thick branch she was on. It was sturdy and strong and slightly flat, allowing her to lay down with little discomfort and even sleep...
