The door is quickly opened by a goblin of decent sized, slightly hunched over, and using a staff easily two feet taller than him as support. "Greetings. How may I help you?"

Shezz soon gets to his home and begins unlocking the door, before going inside and checking everything within his home, including the basement which he slept it...

The taskmaster fumbles with his words for a second, trying to remember the phrase that all taskmasters must learn. "Under the order of Trade Prince Bolthammer, I am here to offer you a place in the Steelcup Cartel. If you accept, you will be under the protection of the Cartel and its forces, but any and all resources you collect, including but not limited to: Food, wood, and minerals, are considered Cartel property, and may be taken for emergency purposes." the goblin recites, as if he were reading it off a scroll...

The chieftain cocks his head to the side.

"Who? Wha? Care to elaborate a bit, young one? I'm not used to this technical talk you new goblins use....."

The three brothers wait for the trade fellow to finish up.....

"...You're a goblin, we're goblins. We've invited many feral tribes into the Cartel to make things easier, ya know? Us goblins gotta stick together after all." the taskmaster said, trying to get the chieftain to understand...

The goblin chief ponders it for a few seconds. "What's in it for my tribe? We gotta eat too, you know........"

"You get the protection of the Cartel. If anyone tries to mess with your operation here, we consider it an attack on Cartel territory, and smear those motherless ogres across the forest." the overseer explained, slamming a fist into his palm as he spoke...

The chief ponders for a few seconds more. "Alright. Why not?"

The taskmaster breathes out in relief. "Great...I'll take a message to Steelcup and they'll probably send a few diplomats down here to complete the deal." he said with a toothy grin, offering a hand to the chieftain...

The chief shakes the goblin's hand. "Good to do buisness with you. Now, I'd get out quickly..... the lockjaw brothers look like they have a bone to pick with you." The chief points to behind the taskmaster, showing Bubba, Lubba, and Shubba all looking at the smaller goblin with evil intent in their eyes..........

"Uh...about that." the taskmaster begins, glancing back at the other goblins. "I don't think its wise that they act like...that. After all, we're allies now." he explains, grinning pleadingly at the chieftain....

"Well, it's not my fault they have a tendency to roughhouse visitors, friendly or not," the chief says. "Well, have fun! Hope you don't lose any limbs." The chief closes the door quickly, as the three brothers begin to walk towards the taskmaster.......

The taskmaster swallows visibly, turning away from the chieftain's home, walking hurriedly toward the treeline without looking back...

The brothers walk quick as well after the taskmaster. Bubba shouts, "Hey, lil' one! Where ya think ya goin'?"

Shubba, unable to control he bestial urges, adopts all fours and chases after the taskmaster at incredible speed......

"Oh sweet merciful-" the goblin begins, breaking out into a run toward the undergrowth. "You don't want to do this, brother! Trust me! It will be bad for both of us!" he pleaded, his small legs carrying him as fast as they could..

Shezz soon erupted from his home after fixing up a few things and removing the fire from the candles at his home. He began moving towards Kubba's home, watching the three brothers chase the other gobline into the forest...

Kubba hears the commotion, grabs his horn treasure, and heads out, following his brothers as they chased the goblin, running as fast as his two feet could carry him.....

Shubba quickly gains on the taskmaster, laughing maniacally, his deep breathing being heard behind the taskmaster as he began to grow closer. The other two brothers follow as well, before Bubba shouts, "Oh, really? Try tellin' dat ta ol' Shubba righ' here!"

Shezz watched Kubba follow behind his brothers, before persuing close behind him...

Nearing the treeline, the taskmaster is hoisted into the air suddenly, stopping him dead. Shubba is lifted as well, now several feet off the ground, metallic "fingers" grasping his body tightly. "WAIT!" the overseer shouts, struggling against the grip. "They've agreed to join! Don't do anything stupid!" he explains, looking up into the faceless visage of Lucifron, who takes a few strides forward, crushing some low-lying vegitation. The Sentinel hesitates, seeing the other goblins nearing the scene, confused by the taskmaster's words...

Bubba and Lubba run into the forest obviously winded. "Stop!" Bubba says. "We gon' teach dat rude lil' creature some mannas! He kin' suck up to da chief as much as he wants, but we don' fall for lil' tricks dat fellas like him play!"

Kubba keeps running towards the forest, hopnig his brothers haven't doen anything stupid....
