That would be an idea but then people might just spam it something with one-sentence posts saying "I touched a squirrel, turns into it." This is my opinion anyway. And most of the animals they touched took time to transform into. We could make it that you have 3 animals to turn into and that's it. But there could be powerplaying. It might be difficult.

what if we gave players the options to transform into new animals as plots for the series begin every 5 pages after one plot has ended.

True, but we would also need to scale out the animals we can use and cannot use.

No dinosaurs. Unless we have that book plot when they kids went back in time to the dinosaur age.

How bout we get better transformations as we move up into the RPG? that way it'll be fair to the other members so nobody gets a really big animal until later into the RPG, Like the elephant.

good idea, stallorda. players would start off with animals that are commonly seen where the charecters live and as plots for the books coomence, they could get new morphs.

hey, i have a sugestion

how about a "Survival" RPG

plot: Global Warming has taken a dramatic toll on the wrold, the sun is about to pop, Basically every thing that scientists predicted that would end the world basically happened or about to.

luckily

there are bio-domes that replicate places (antartica, amazon north pole,ETC)

oh another twist...

The earth has been split into peicies!

yes, earth quakes had made planet earth floating rocks, asteroids, some still have there earth featres like grass, water, atmosphere

except for snow, that melted a long time ago.

oh also

this takes place in the year 3000.

you have to survive in this now alien place,

Any takers?

A good idea but the earthquakes would have to be huge over the richter scale like I am talking 20.5 and also how would it be possible to survive with the planet split into two? The tectonic plates are what keep the planet together, now with it split that causes gravity to mess up meaning you would possibly be floating toward space possibly. But it is a nice idea.

A Turok RPG maybe? But then we might have just the same idea as Dino Crisis only that you battle an army of some sort whether it'd be a reptillian empire or another army of humans like in the new Turok game (that's on my wishlist for 360 games next year!) but the ideas they use in that game are cool as well as weapons. And I am sure many of us have played the Turok series (I've only played Turok: Evolution) or even the latest game, Turok: Evolution. The weapons were excellant, like in Turok Evolution we had:

War Club-Personal Melee weapon which can do a lot of damage when whacking an enemy or holding the trigger, that causes usually a one-hit kill as it is a power hit.

Pistol-The usual handgun weapon. Can be equipped with Sniper scope.

Sniper Rifle (Scope)-Equips to your Pistol to use the scope. Makes it's range better and its bullets more powerful.

Tek Bow-The Tek Bow is the only bow in the game. It can be equipped with different types of arrows from normal, to explosive and has its special scope mode as well so you can get better shots off at long distances. When using arrows, you can fire them by tapping the trigger but holding the trigger and aiming at an enemy's head will kill instantly.

Arrows-Usual arrows, if held long enough and shot at an enemy will kill them in one shot to the head.

Poison Arrows-A personal favourite by many. When shooting an enemy with one of these poisons and enemy, quickly whittling away their health, when used on dinosaurs kills them quickly but with other enemies like Slegs will cause them to actually "barf" up and that leaves them vulnerable to more damage.

Explosive Arrows-Very powerful when fired at an oppenent and is likely to kill them in one shot or knock them flying back. Either way they are extremely powerful.

Shotgun-The casual weapon, kills up close with one round normally.

Minigun-It starts off as a pistol-like weapon which delivers semi-powerful shots into an enemy but if mingun rounds are found then equip them to your weapon and it will "morph" into the weapon its name lives up to. Very, very powerful when unleashed.

Rocket Launcher-A very powerful weapon in which it kills anything that's in front of it when fired as it delivers a powerful richocette that can inflict heavy damage even when not in front of the blast.

Spread fire attatchment-An attatchment to the Rocket Launcher which allows it to fire rockets in different directions at once, very powerful.

Nuke Attatchment-Now I wonder why they decided something like this for Turok: Evolution but still it makes the Rocket Launcher the most powerful weapon anywhere when this attatchment is equipped. What it does is when firing on a particular area you will see a small pink ball of what appears to be atomic energy and then after a few seconds it is fired in the direction you aimed at and pulled the trigger. The small "orb" will fly into the area and after a second a massive explosion occurs, anything that is unfortunate enough to be in the radius obliterated or sent shooting off into the next world like no tomorrow.

Dark Matter Cube-Similar to Soul Cubes in Doom 3. They are indeed one of the most powerful weapons in the game. Thrown like grenades, these bad boys activate upon hitting the ground and a portal or "void" of sorts is unleashed, which pulls anything that its gravity can reach. People, dinosaurs, even yourself if an oppenent throws one. If caught by it is instant death so the best choice is to be avoiding going near it when someone uses it.

There are other weapons in the game but those are most of them. I liked also the fact that you could play as two raptor characters in Multiplayer but they were limited to the fact that they were unable to climb ladders and had no weapons but one leap on an opponent was a kill and they had their bite which did a lot of damage. Still the game is excellant and you also got to fly Quezalcoatlas's too.

How bout' a Prehistroic Park related Jurassic Park RPG?
We go back in time every few pages and bring back dinosaurs.
We start out with all the Nublar species, then we go back and bring back other dinos. But it won't be all about bringing back dinosaurs, it'll be about raising the dinos, feed them, help em' when they're sick. All that kind of stuff. Even become "friends" with one of the dinos.
Yes, Nigel Marven and John Hammond will be in it.

You can be a scientists, animal specialist, paleontoligists, geopaleontoligists (I think thats what ya call em'). All that.

So what do ya say?

I'm more for Turok than Survival. Problem is it it's just like Dino Crisis and Resident Evil which involves kill, kill, kill. But we could base it around the new Turok shown at E3, which is not about going to a certain area, but its surviving. Especially when the environment is like an enemy to you and you have dinosaurs and other enemies to worry about.

Oh and Stallord. Yes I considered a Prehistoric Park idea. But then it just gets boring after a while. It's pretty much just getting dinosaurs for an amusement park, its very much like Jurassic Park so I'd rather not. As much as I like those two Dino shows, its not good for an RPG idea.

Exactly. But still Turok would be awesome. You would of course be limited to what weapons you could use at your disposal. And plus i think its cool how you can distract lure the dino's back to their nests, so they see the enemy humans nearby and take them out for you. Like as they show with the Raptors (who have become suprisingly enormous since they last were in Turok as well as the new dinosaurs the Dilophosaurs). I watched those trailers of the gameplay involved, it's incredible and a huge step up from Turok Evolution. And how you have the other dinosaurs interacting with the environment (in one trailer you see two Parasaurolophus's walk past grazing on the plants), this sort of thing was involved with Turok Evolution, for example, at one point you encountered a T-Rex and you could use him to take out the enemy Slegs nearby who are helpless against the 5 tonned predator.

ENOUGH dinosaur RPGs. Two is enough, I was fine with one, but NO MORE. Survival RPG, no thank you, it has more holes than swiss cheese. The sun popping? I don't think so, and global warming is MY thing. Think of some other doomsday please. XD
Well James Bond Chinchilla and Monsta Pacman gets old after a year or so of absence. >_> Methinks I'll leave this blank until I come up with something to put here.

Alright, maybe not a Dino RPG or anything related to that or anything Zoo Tycoon or Jurassic Park related. I dunno what else that would be good. Plus we already have enough RPG's up and running.

Really I'd rather go with a Turok RPG than Survival but its an ok idea nonetheless.

CS, kindly, shut your mouth, I'm a skeptic yes, but if you read what I said then you would learn to take criticism and use it to fix your RPG. What global warming is, is when the rays of the sun get trapped in the earths thick atmosphere, thats all, it isn't when the sun heats up because of pollution, that makes no sence. The sun won't pop because as far as I know, the sun doesn't have anything that could make it pop. The earth is not going to fall apart, seeing as giant sesmic activity would have to ocur in order to rip it apart, and I mean giant, especially by the fact that the things holding the earth together are the ones that cause earth quakes, unlike in cartoons, the planet looses no land mass when it has an earthquake, nothing sinks below to reveal a bottomless pit. Nothing. You need to put scientific fact into your thoughts before displaying them to someone else. Survival RPG, I do not like, unless something original is thought up.

No

More

Dino

RPGs.

GOT IT?

I don't care if it SEEMS different, we have ENOUGH. Immediate NO from us.

TTR, kindly shut your mouth about Global Warming, this is NOT the topic to dicuss it, and I have no idea WHY your discussing it. This is RPG Requests ONLY, no Global Warming, no FLAMING, nothing else but RPG Requests.

Thank you TT. Thank you. ;_;

Oh and about the global warming, I was talking about that when CS had some outrageous ideas about it, I just had to correct. Sorry.
