Well, the Aircrest vs. Bane fight was pretty decent, even with the faulties you pointed out, TT... Now I'm afraid of sparring in here, for fear of this happening...

What? Constructive criticism?
That's the entire point of this topic. I'm not ganna say "GOOD FIGHT GUYS" every time as a default response. I'm going to tell you if you did good or bad. Members I expect more from get a harsher treatment for obvious reasons.

Riptide vs. Darkness (Mutant vs Mutant)
Location: A fairly large clearing in the jungle.
Dappled sunlight fell on the mutant raptor's scales as he came to the sparse jungle at the edge of a clearing. Intelligent ice blue eyes peered at his surroundings, carefully scanning for signs of life. A fern twitched and a compy darted out, tiny jaws snapping at a dragonfly that buzzed just out of its reach. Riptide looked away. The compy was just an annoyance. The mutant took another few steps, his quills glinting as his head turned in another scan of the clearing.

Dark amber eyes peered out through the foliage. Another mutant...normal raptors might be sympathetic to one that shared their plight.
He was not a normal raptor, however...
A clawed foot smashed down onto the tiny creature's back, killing it without so much as a whimper. The dragonfly buzzed away, just as the dark raptor lifted its head up to look at the other mutant, scaly maw eerily blank and emotionless...

As Riptide glanced back towards where the compy had been, he caught sight of the other raptor. He felt himself tense - how had he not smelled it coming? On edge now, he stared back at the stranger, unable to read its expression.

Darkness looked down at the compy. A meager snack...and he wasn't opposed to cannibalism. The dark raptor looked back up, a crazed grin on his maw, before charging forward at the mutant, inadvertently kicking the mangled corpse of the compy to the side...

Riptide turned towards the charging mutant, his eyes narrowing at the sudden display of aggression. If he wants a fight...he can have one. The blue-striped raptor's hand claws flexed in anticipation as he adopted a more battle-ready stance.

Riptide jerked his head back, the curved claws just barely missing the end of his snout, and a second later returned the strike with a swipe of his own, his lip curling up to expose sharp teeth.

Riptide grunted and staggered, knocked off-balance and winded from the hit. Even as he tried to get his breath back, his claws were reflexively digging into the other mutant's shoulder, securing a hold for when he'd found his balance again.

Dazed, Riptide shook his head, trying to clear it. His foot claws dug into the earth to keep him on his feet, hissing under his breath at the lost chance to deal some serious injury.
