The lightning struck all around the wasp, dust bellowing up from all around his form, a metallic screech sounding off from within the dust cloud. The thick smoke lingered for a few moments, several small buildings around the wasp mostly destroyed by the barrage of electricity. Without warning, the space wasp shot forward from the smoke, one powerful beat of his four wings and a powerful leap launching him at Blight, an arm extending forward, jabbing a drill into the dragon's neck. Upon landing, the wasp stabbed his feet into the ground and and swung the other drill up into one of the dragon's wings, shredding membrane as it spun.

The distant roars and bellows reached Jackson even in the subway station. Somewhere, the giant beasts were having a senseless brawl among themselves, destroying property and lives in the struggle. It made him fume with anger. If he had the means, he would charge into battle with the titans and drive them back into the forsaken realm from whence they came. He looked down at his empty hand. It was balled into a fist and twitching when he thought of the prospect of slaughtering one of the giants. Just one would make a gigantic difference in humanity's battle for survival. He sighed and calmed himself, dismissing the thought. He was just a man who somehow survived the disasters that struck this city. It in no way meant that he was capable of combating the monsters of the world. He was just...human

Jackson hopped over a turnstile and made his way down onto the subway platform. It was empty and dark; the lights that still shone were dimly glowing and flickering every other second. The sound of trickling water lingered in the station. Walking across the platform, Jackson heard an echoing slosh as he stepped into a puddle. “Well damn it…” He muttered. Apparently a water main had ruptured and it was slowly flowing into the station. While most of it would run off into the city’s subterranean drains, the station would still be uncomfortable to sleep in. With this discovery, Jackson walked over to the platform’s edge and dropped down onto the track, heading off into the dark tunnel to the right of the station. Some service lights were still operational luckily, and Jackson was able to make out some features within the tunnel. One such feature was a maintenance entrance that hung open. The man smiled. It was a promising find. He could sleep in a worker’s lounge, or get some supplies.

Despite it being slightly audible in Hawaii, Infernus barely even hears it. "It appears that somewhere theere is action," the Smoke Clad King grumbles to himself. As much as he wishes to fight, he needed to rest. The Magma saurian soon enters his volcano home and rests deeply...

Mechagodzilla looked over at the distant explosion caused by Horus, but otherwise ignored it. This creature clearly had things to do. Jets flaring to life, the mech took off, flying over the ocean, scanners trained on the trail by King Ghidorah...

Blight screeched in pain as he could feel the drills tearing his neck and wing apart. The dragon grabbed the wasp's drill that wa in his neck, before yanking it out. Now, the wasp was in th eposition he wanted it to be in. Blight's eyes glowed an orage color as a pillar of flames shot out from his mouth right at Spinnerax at point-blank range...

Before the beast could unleash his firey payload, its head was suddenly smashed to the side, wrenching its neck about, a terrible gash left at the side of its face. Its eye was shredded by Spinnerax's other drill, which he had swiftly brought down on the dragon. The dragon forcing the other drill out of its neck only worsened the wound all together, blood poured out and its flesh was completely shredded. Giving the space dragon no time to recover, Spinnerax stopped his drills and started to jab them into Blight's body, leaving gaping, jagged stab wounds.

The Dragon slowed as he reached the exosphere, drifting slowly over the planet, jet engines shut down as Horus spread his wings, the Dragon beginning to infiltrate satellites to access the internet, searching for information relating to the monsters currently present across the globe. what he was discovering...was not pleasant...

Jackson slipped into the doorway, coming to a strange area just beyond it. It was empty and the light level was low. From what he could make out, there was some sort of security terminal not too far ahead. "What the hell..." He muttered to himself as he tentatively pressed forward, readying his makeshift weapon in case there was something lurking in the dark. This was not any average maintenance hub, that much was for sure...

A bright light suddenly appeared in the hallway, temporarily blinding the man inside. "State your purpose." a voice growled, the volume and gruffness of the voice sounding quite forced...

"Oh ****" Jackson exclaimed as he raised his arm to shield his eyes, the chains on his crude staff jingling. "Uh..." He stammered as he heard the voice. "I was just...uh...trying to find a place to sleep. Maybe a place to bed down if I was..lucky" He said awkwardly, his arms still raised to block the bright glare. His eyes were so keenly adapted to the dark, that even the stray rays of light pained him. He felt like a rat sneaking around the kitchen, only to be stopped dead by someone flicking the light switch on...

"Oh, ok." the voice responded sarcastically, the light dimming slightly, before the wall at the opposite end of the hallway seemed to part, leading further into the facility...

Deep in the heart of the Amazon, a small group of people travel down the river. Taking in the sights they saw and the overall majesty of the place, they seemed oblivious to everything else that was going on....

Suddenly, they come across a small cave within sight of the river. It seemed small on the outside, but looked to go down deep into the earth if one looked into it. "Hey guys, let's go look inside that cave!" someone says. The captain of the boat glances over at the person before saying, "Alright. stop the boat, we'll go look inside that cave." Thus the boat is soon stopped near the edge of the river, and the would-be explorers dismount their naval vehicle. They head into the cave and begin to head deeper into the darkness, lights ready.

The Ground was dirty and sticky, as if it was covered in syrup. "Eww," someone comments. "This is disgusting!" "Well, what'd you expect?" another person comments. "It's a cave. The floor's probably covered in bat crap." Suddenly, a woman towards the front of the group screams. "What's with all the noise?" Another woman comments. They run over to investigate, the woman simply standing there, shocked. They too, were shocked upon seeing what she saw.

Mountains of bones and decaying corpses were inside the cave, blood and body parts staining and litterign the area. "My god..." a man comments. "What could've done this?" Soon, there was a chittering nearby, followed by the flapping of wings. "What was that?" Someone inquires. before they know it, a swarm of monstrously huge insects bursts forth from seemingly nowhere. Before any of the people can even scream, the bugs are upon them, devouring flesh, tissue, and even bones in their frenzy....

After the feast, only a pile of gore and acid remains. The Kryll swarm soon flees back to the inner sanctum of the hive....

Jackson lowered his arms with some hesitation, his eyes gradually getting used to the light. It had been so long since he heard another voice, much less, saw a fellow survivor. He made his way toward the door with a hastened pace. His moralle was suddenly boosted now that he knew he wasnt alone in this hellhole of a city...

As the man neared, the passage closed shut again with a loud metallic bang. "You really thought that was it?" the voice asked, laughing loudly afterward.

"I would've hoped so, yes" Jackson replied drowsilly, looking around the room to find a particularly inviting place. He was tired, and by now wasnt above curling up in a corner and sleeping on the floor. At least it was dry and somewhat clean in the room...

As the man looked around, various scans were performed on the room, determining if the man was irradiated, infected, or mutated in any way, Talon wanting to be absolutely sure the man wasn't a threat...

Blight roare in pain and agony, the flames in his mouth still gathering despire the pain he was going through. As Spinnerax was stabbing him, the mecha-wasp was sent toppling onto its side by a powerful, long object smashing into its side. Blight's tail swished back and forth infront of the dragon as he let loose a fiery beam right at the cyborg wasp. He needed to wrap this fight up as quickly as he could, or else he'd have to retreat to somewhere else... or worse.

Infernus rests peacefully in his volcano lair, the heat of the magma infested cavern healing and relaxing the titan. He seems to be calm only while at rest- otherwise, he is a rampaging titan of terror.....

Kori Kahn's right eye soon cracks open before he raises himself out of the snow and lets out a low growl. He stretches and shakes the snow off of his back. Opening his other eye now, the Lord of the North growls low again before flapping his wings, picking up some of the snow from the ground. The Dragon soon begins to walk towards the ocean, before breaknig into a gallop....

Elsewhere in the chaos of Tokyo's streets, something new emerged. The small creature from before, emerged from the alleyway as it started to dramatically balloon in size, getting nearly 20 meters tall over the course of only a minute or so. The now-huge Raptoran screeched, partially in confusion and partially in his sudden, newfound hunger, and began his rampage through the streets, unintentionally assisting the swamped military forces by smashing or crushing the tiny Serag underfoot, pausing only to gobble up their remains...

A small horde of the Serag attacked the beast from behind, pouncing on it's back quickly to attempt and spread the infection to it. The rest focused entirely on the humans and other beings in the city, seemingly ignoring everything around them besides the living...
