"Well, i got ahold of it when i became Emperor. it's story is a slight bit of a mystery, even to me. but to my best guess, Mortus had made it a gift for his daughter when she became Empress, being his true Heir. me being the chosen heir by the Red Dragons, it was official that this would be our home" growled Inferno as he thought about the events that may have brought out his coming into ownership of this place as his home...

Neltharion continued following the two older dragons silently, taking in the sights of the cavern. It was amazing, definately more visually satisfying then the Spire, but was too hot for his liking, having been raised in the frozen wasteland...

Most of the golden dragons hissed in disgust as the two new dragons past. They all knew who they were, and would've attacked if they weren't already warned by the Emperess of Time. Most of the dragons avoided them and continued their tasks, some showing their aggression toward the dragons...

Garroth simply ignored the hisses. He had been through enough and now was already back on his feet after not giving up on all hope altogether. This time he was going to fix up his wrongdoings and that was a promise he kept. He knew it would take time for the Gold Dragons to be used to him. He only hoped that Rutus was doing ok. He was forever grateful that Chronos had allowed him to stay in their realm but he knew he wasn't here on vacation. This was a time to prepare to redeem himself before he ever stepped back on his territory grounds again. Rutus may have banished him but Garroth was not about to give up. Everyone makes mistakes, no matter how bad. But then we are forgiven for those mistakes. I will return to my realm when it is time. But if the time comes and Belliar starts a full-fledged war, I will be there with my kind to find. Whether Rutus approves of it or not. I will make do whilst I stay. But I will be back Rutus. And if I can proove myself to the Gold Dragons then perhaps, in time they will think of the Green Dragons as friends and not just allies. He thought to himself as he followed Tranquillus down towards her quarters. Eventually it was become less desserted as they went deeper and deeper. Soon, they arrived at a large room where a large nest which was where Tranquillus slept and at another end was another nest. Garroth knew this was where he would sleep. Garroth lay down in the other nest near Tranquillus. He sighed finally that he was now able to rest. Tranquillus looked to him. "Garroth, I'm sorry this isn't so welcoming but it is an uneasy peace you have brought among our kind. I know it was under my own decision but the Gold Dragons will despise you the moment they see you in their sights so just understand that it will be hard to make friends at this time." Garroth continued to look up at the roof of the room. "I am sure they will come to learn and understand in due time. But I will do what I can to avoid any trouble in the meantime. I know that I might seem an embarrassment among your friends probably." He said in a bit of a humorous tone. "My friends will learn to respect you as long as you are around in my presence, whether they like it or not so do not fear Garroth." She replied in a serious tone. "Well, as long as they won't butcher me or torture me like the demons did to us, I will be fine." He replied. The two didn't say anything for a long time and then Tranquillus turned to Garroth with a concern look on her face. "Garroth?"
"Yes Tranquillus?"
"Not that it's a big concern and all but I must ask about this. I can't remove it from my mind otherwise."
"What troubles you then?"
"Back when we just escaped the demon realm and you were talking to Chronos."
"Yes? What of it?" He asked. This time looking to Tranquillus.
"Well you said to Chronos that you 'loved me as a friend, and possibly even more'. What did you imply by that?"
Garroth seemed to feel his chest ache.
"Well uhh...Tranquillus...understand it was something I said at the time but-"
Suddenly he was cut off when he realized Tranquillus had gotten out of her nest and walked straight over to him and looked down at him with a serious look on her.
"Garroth I want the truth. And trust me, do not even think of lying to me because I can tell if you are. Garroth, do you love me?" She asked with a single claw at Garroth's chin. Garroth froze for a minute before trying to act calm, but he knew there was no denying it any longer. He let out a long sigh before talking again.
"Tranquillus, after all those times we've spent together in my realm for over a year now. I have come to learn and understand so much for you. There has been no one like you in my life. Yes, I do love you, I didn't straight away, love I believe is something that is not seen at first-sight. But as time went by, we became good friends and well, I just had that feeling one day that I had a sense of longing for you. I still do. Honest and truthfully I adore you Tranquillus, everything about you. I don't care what Chronos thinks of me, or anyone else. I believe there is a thing called the right to make your own decisions and there is no shame in thinking such thoughts as my own." He said in a straight tone before pausing finally. Tranquillus simply stood there speechless for a moment. She then looked as if she was crying, tears poured down her face.
"Oh Garroth. If only it were possible. I will be considered a traitor to my kind if I ever breed with you. I am sorry we cannot be engaged as partners either. Trust me, they will know even if we keep it a secret." She sobbed. Garroth stroked her head using his left claw. He knew she was right. If only everything wasn't this way...

"There you are" growled Inferno as he spotted the Dwarf closely examining the walls. "Oh! Inferno! i didn't see you there! i've found some very interesting things here. it seems the visible parts of this cavern are only a very small part of the actual Stronghold. this place is even more immense than it appear-oh...i'm sorry". in Brin's excitement, he hadn't immediately noticed the other two Dragons with him. spotting them, he gave a bow. "These are my two friends, Stimeak and Neltharion" growled Inferno, waving a hand towards the two Dragons respectibly. "Pleased to meet you both, Stimeak and Neltharion. I am Brin Ashenbeard"...

Stimeak's head snaked foreward, stareing the dwarf in the eye. He pulled back and snorted "Greetings Brin" An icy puff of vapour came out of his nostrils. He attempted an intrested looking face. In his mind, Inferno was insane for letting a dwarf into his cave. The little bag of fat would come in with an empty sack and leave with 4 full ones.

"Greetings." Neltharion growled simply. It was really strange that Inferno let the dwarf into his home...the black dragon half expecting his mentor to flick the small creature away. Truthfully, it would've been hilarious, if it wouldn't disrespect Inferno's guest. Neltharion continued to glance around the cave, more interested in the cave itself then the dwarf...

"What was it you were saying, Brin?" growled Inferno. "As i was saying, i have found information regarding numerous hidden passages within the caverns. oh dear, this is incredibly vast...we'll need time to be able to find all of them. i practically know the entrances to all of them. but there are so many of them i may bore you and your friends out of your minds". Inferno chuckled. "What do you think? Stimeak? Neltharion?" he growled, looking over his shoulders to look at the two Dragons, waiting for a response...

Stimeak made a faint grunting sound as his eyes refocused and he hissed "Very intressting...." He seemed to be stareing through Inferno and at the wall behind him... His face blank.

"A kind offer, really, but I think its best I leave." Neltharion growled truthfully. "I have to plan out how I'm going to propose my idea to the other Emperors..." he growled, shrugging. "But I'm sure Stimeak would love to go on the grand tour." Neltharion growled, glancing at his mentor's expression, trying hard not to laugh. He turned, trotting out back toward the entrance of the cave...

Inferno chuckled at Stimeak's reaction, and barely contained a laugh at Neltharion's subsequent comment on a grand tour. "Excuse me, Brin. i think it's time i helped Stimeak out as well. I'll be back in a moment" he growled, before turning back towards the entrance and led Stimeak out, passing the multi-coloured, glowing gems, the energy swirling lazily inside them, their elements bordering and surrounding them. Neltharion was mere feet away...

Stimeak let out a sigh and muttered "Thanks... its way to bleedin hot in here..." There were small puddles in his wake, the ground having frozen and then melted as he steped on it...

Neltharion, reaching the end of the cave, turned to bow his head in goodbye to Inferno. Turning back, he lifted himself into the air with his powerful wings, flying off toward the Spire, the only place he would call "home". Now, he needed to wait until he could speak with all the Emperors at once, and hopefully they would accept. They had to accept...it was the only way...

"There," David stated blankly as he pointed to a large cave mouth. "As far as I can tell, it's a Red. I'll pin it down, and you finish it, ok?" David then started up the last incline of the dhill and stopped in front of the mouth.

Are you sure you can handle that red's can be pretty aggresive? More importantly will you get the chance? Cormag questioned with Durandal held over his shoulder.

Inferno led Stimeak to the entrance and growled "Well, in that case, you best go somewhere more comfortable. any idea where you're going to go?". now standing on the ledge, he looked out to the plains around him, his guards patrolling the skies...

Stimeak smirked and hissed "Ah, I would tell you that... But I'm afraid Morian mightend be so courteous in the light of whats happened, so forgive me...." He spread his wings, preaparing for flight but waited to see if Inferno wanted to add anything...

Inferno chuckled at the Dragon's remark, and growled "Alright. keep in touch though. i don't want a close friend to just disappear off the face of the world"...

Stimeak grinned, showing his fangs and he growled slyly "That... would be a last resort... Farewell Inferno..." He beat his wings down, powering him into the air, circleing upwards

Orion was back with the band of unicorns in the valley. He was finally the leader of his own small herd. He had a small band of three, consisting of three mares. He led them around with pride, and protected them well. He finally had a mate, and her name was Elektris. She was a light palomino with a thin white lightning mark running down her face and a white horn. She was also the carrier of his future son or daughter. The other two unicorns were his sister, Nova and his close friend, Serenity.

He observed Serenity and Nova as they grazed. Elektris decided to join him and touched her muzzle to his, greeting him. "How is the leader doing," she asked.

The unicorn gazed at his loved one and nuzzled her. "Fine, just fine. And how are both of you?" He gestured to her belly with his muzzle.

"Good as well. Oh, this is such a blessing Orion! The best part is that the humans are attacking less!" She pranced around, showing her glee.

Orion winced at the mention of the word, human. He still couldn't forget what they did to him. He couldn't forget that cold metal bit, the hard lash of the whip, or the smirks upon their faces. It disgusted him. "Yeah, a blessing," he repeated with a mumble visible in his voice and said nothing more.
