The object suddenly turned, rocketing toward the planet. With monumental force, the projectile smacked into the earth, throwing up an enormous cloud of dirt and dust, large enough to be seen by even the fighters, who were quite a distance away.

The environment was only holding back the impending doom upon the Imperial Army. Logs that fell on top were quickly dodged and those that couldn't were quickly blasted by Plasma that quickly tore through most trunks. Eventually Minors armed with Beam Rifles showed up and began to put down some serious damage. Even if they weren't as good as SpecOps they were almost as deadly and even if most shots weren't going for the heads of Imperials, they usually struck the chestplates and that was all that was needed as the Beams went straight through and disappeared within miliseconds of each shot making it harder for Imperials to know when and where the shots were coming from. Some Elite snipers took up positions in the trees and with the assistance of a few others on foot they could take out groups of Imperials within moments. Most of the Commanders (Ultras in other words) were battling across the station with the Field Masters tagging along just behind them, giving out commands to the Ultras and cutting away at groups of enemies too. The Imperials had only encountered the SpecOps in the past, and though Minors and Majors along with Ultras were brand new to them, the Zealots were the most deadly of them. Their shields were unbelievably strong, even compared to Ultras. They only wielded a Plasma Rifle and Energy Sword along with grenades but that was all that was necessary. Field Masters were among the beginning ranks of the Generals, they killed hundreds of enemies in their days in order to reach their rank.

Very soon vehicles on the ground were being deployed. Ghosts were proving quite effective and Spectres were also being quite good backup for the Ghosts, their plasma cannons were like small plasma beam shots but at rapid fire and also was able to contain 4 occupants altogether, combined with a Propulusion Drive which all Covenant vehicles had that could easily run down troops and be useful especially in the middle of firefights that became too much, not only that but if the Spectres or Ghosts were about to be toppled over they had a special mechanism that made sure that they would land upright most of the time. With their hovering capabilities also, this meant that mines could be driven over without the risk of detonation. Very soon, the Wraith tanks were deployed and began bombarding different sections of the station with their plasma mortars. Their propulusion drives were only temporary and not so effective but also they had a secondary gunner that manned the plasma cannon on the front in order to mow down ground forces....

Unleashing their vechlicles, however tanks armed with duel laser cannons and a single powered cannon were dispatched as they began to scarmble from the base to aid as these high powered cannons punched massive holes through enemy machines as their laser cannons slaughtered machines. AT-ST's appeared as well as these two legged anti infantry machines appeared blasting infantry and ghosts with their four laser cannons as they advanced foward through the jungle. Their last weapons would be saved for later but as for now they still held as infantry continued to lay support fire...

Alpha narrowed his vision, his heat reading vision focused towards one of the elite snipers as 3 dots in the shape of a triangle appeared on its skull...he watched cloaked and ready, wrist blades extended..

The Wraiths quickly unleashed Plasma Mortars on the AT-ST's not far from them and destroyed them whilst Elites carved through more of them with their Plasma Rifles. The Banshees flew down and did bomb runs on the tanks, obliterating most of them. All in all, the Elite's vehicles were stronger and even the Imperial's tanks weren't a match for the Plasma Mortars either. The Wraiths had the ability to see over the top of hills and beyond that, making them able to launch mortars from behind large hills and mountains and still get a number of shots on target but not always. The Elites forces on the ground were still carving the enemy into bits...

A volley of Needler rounds tore yet another Imperial Trooper apart, as Elch barked orders to his fellow troops. They charged forward, mowing down advancing Imperials with vicious ease. Elch made potshots with the Needler, usually at a distance and aimed at enemies that proved to be of a much greater threat. Any trooper that got close up to him paid the price for their foolishness, and were cut down by Elch's sword.

More of the strange-looking meteors appeared, landing near the first one's original impact. It wasn't a very large swarm ("large" would be at least 1,000 or so), but they still numbered around 300.

"They had the elevation, everything..and I think its time we did what we had to..." The commander replied.

"Once they fail, the only thing left is whatever infantry remain..tell the captain its time, one last charge..." The field general said. As the infantry did what they could, firing and doing their best, a massive roar echoed through the jungle.

Out from the shielded base were 5 Heavy Assualt/Wheeled A6 Juggernaut and 5 AT-AT's. The juggernauts plunged foward, ripping their way through the thick jungle as numerous Concussion missles came flying out as these highly powered missles as their anti personal laser cannon batteries began to rip the elites to shreads as their main laser cannons punched massive holes through machines. Their armor allowed heat to be distrubited all over the armor to ease damage as they spread in a wide formation as they began to move along. Turing would take too much time so charging through was the only option..

AT-AT's followed up behind him firing their duel laser cannons and duel turbo laser towards their foes picking apart targets that remained..

"OK men. time to land on Ka' Roll....Computer, scan for all possible landing ports" said Aragren as he walked into the control room. the large screen in front of the Captain's platform, hanging from the ceiling by two hydraulic arms, showed a full colour 3d model of Ka 'Roll on screen, and did a full scan on it. "No suitable Port found" came the voice. "Scan for possible landing zones" said Aragren. "Numerous fields found across the planet, sir" responded the voice. "Find all possible landing zones near the capital city" he said. after the model rotated to lock on the capital city, a red ring encircled it, a blue, slanted line circling over the circle's edge, similar to a radar, before finally stopping, 5 yellow dots marking the possible landing zones. "There is an empty plain approximately 3 Kilometers from the City, just outside of the city limits. there is also a field roughly 3.5 kilometers from the city limits, another one about 4.5 kilometers away, and two other spots in plains nearly 6 kilometers from the city limits". "Take the closest choice to the city limits, and scan for all possible hazards" said Aragren. "Acknowledged" came the voice as the Frigate entered the atmosphere, the jets on the underside of the craft guiding it in at roughly 300 KM/H. as the craft neared the surface, high powered jet engines under the Frigate activated, long tongues of blue energy being unleashed as the craft swiftly slowed to less than 5 KM/H, touching down softly. after a minute of scanning, the feminine voice installed into the Super Computer spoke again. "Atmosphere safe for free entry. no hazards detected". "Well men. you know what that means. Prepare the Venturer for activation" said The Captain. with a salute, one of the troops hit a button back in the launch bay of the Frigate, a low alarm went off as the entrance was opened, the men inside the room fueling and gearing the Venturer, a massive, 6 wheeled all terrain transport vehicle, for activation. the large silvery craft was geared with food, fuel, an air filter, a shield and concealed cannons in case things got dangerous. on the outside it looked rather outdated, but on the inside, it was a state of the art transport vehicle...

Kepe who was watching the scene knew that they were going to struggle somewhat and yet the enemy hadn't really made of an attempt to destroy his air vehicles. He was concerned about the meteorites crashing onto the planet and tried to think of what they were but then it hit him...Arachnids! but Kepe knew he could not call all the troops. He then had an idea to deal with the Imperials' tanks and walkers and the Arachnids.
"Deploy the Scarabs!" He ordered.
On the underbelly of the Carrier a group of hatches opened up and in a moment's noticed several shapes fell downward from the sky with hover boosters beneath their legs to slow their descend. Then with a crash they hit the ground, producing small shockwaves and then getting up on all fours. Immediately there was the sound of shaking as Scarabs moved through the swamp toward the main area of the battle where the Juggernauts were ripping the Elites to bits. One Scarab moved around and behind the line of tanks, keeping concealed at the same time. Within a moment the Scarabs, charged up green beams of plasma and unleashed them as they flew across and obliterated the first Juggernaut and then the the second Juggernaut along with 2 of Walkers which were quickly dealt with as well with the help of Banshees and Wraiths which had already arrived. The Scarab that was behind the tanks immediately opened fire with a combination of the second gun on the back and the main plasma cannon including being armed with an Ultra commandeering each Scarab along with two Majors. Immediately the Minor Elites onboard starting blasting the Walkers with Plasma of their own as well as any ground forces below. One Ultra quickly got up top and unleashed Fuel Rod rounds that flew into the Walker nearest and blasted its legs, the plutonium destroying one leg on the back and making it fall on its side. The Ultra then went back into the Scarab to commandeer it. Quickly the battle turned into a very quick one with the enemies' tanks suffering in the process along with a Scarab coming down from every other Cruiser orbited over the planet's surface. The Imperial's tanks were helpless especially with seven Scarabs from Kepe's ship already blowing them to smithereens. Only one Scarab was destroyed by an assault of the Concussion missiles but it took so much just to bring it down and there was still 6 Scarabs there dishing out a lot of damage. The Imperial's vehicles could do nothing...

The chestburster watched as the drone set down the corpse of the human in front of it. The young xeno then began to feed, using it's small sharp teeth to tear a piece of flesh from the host's right arm. The drone had turned and watched as the two preatorians that had left entered thehive again.

With impedding doom, any surviving Juggernaut put all their power into their weapons as their laser batteires and cannon continued to fire and shread enemy forces to sheer piecies as the very heat generated the hot as the heat generated from a nuke. Their deaths would be approaching at anytime but they accepted it...it was for the Empire.

With their ground forces decimated again...they had one last thing. These missles were suppose to be ground to space missles but the vast ammount of ships meant that it was pointless..they were to be used on the ground forces..

One of the military commanders on k-25 was speaking to a group of newsoldiers:"Keep your motion trackers alert because xenos don't show up in infa red. Also, be very careful because their blood is acidic and unless you want it to hit you, keep a good distance from them." He knew perfectly well about the hybrids and the xeno empress, but they hadn't been causing trouble lateley.

The only evidence of life around the meteors were holes in the ground, all the same size: that of Warriors...

Very quickly the last of the Imperial's walkers and Juggernauts were obliterated by the Scarabs. This then allowing them to concentrate on the station...

"Due to jammers...the elites arent exactly aware on what crashed on this planet do they..." THe commander looked at the field general.

"Why did we go to war with such foes..." The Field general asked out of nowhere as the alarm throughout the shielded base going to ring on and on. Surviving troopers took up their last poistions as data files were ready to all be eleminated.

"I was told that they fired the first shot, towards Revan's fleet at the same time we were somewhat forcing them due to the heavy factor that the Annihilator and its Armada escort was right there...a risky situation but thats what I know.." THe commander replied.

"Send a transmission towards the Elites...tell them we surrender but destroy all data files...tell tortue us..let them, the troopers are clones, their more loyal to the empire then we are.." The Field General replied as the commander said nothing, it was over..

Kepe was well aware of the danger those meteors were. He was not about to have his troops be slaughtered in front of him like last time. Quickly he spoke to a Major at the controls of his ship. "Call back the nearest Elites to the Phantoms but keep our Banshees aloft. The Scarabs can handle themselves as well. We have to get them away from those meteors!" He warned. The Major turned to him in question.
"Sir? What are those meteors? They haven't even touched our warriors yet and though they seem threatening enough, what is the real trouble?"
Kepe looked at the major with a hint of dread.
"A relic of death is upon us..." He replied.
Quickly the Major began to order the Phantoms to pick up the troops.
"Sir what about any valuable data the enemy contains?"
"We have already won this-"
Kepe was quickly interuppted by a voice on the comm. It was a female.
"General, this is Field Master Mhpe'Aenur. My forces have engaged and invaded part of the space station, already our troops are engaging them and we are about to make our final push into their main HQ." She replied.
Kepe immediately opened up the comm channel to the fellow general.
"This is the Fleet Commander, we hear you and I wish for you to proceed as plannned. Continue to lead the attack along with all other Field Masters deployed. But post haste. I am sure your troops are aware of the approaching meteorites. You must be as quick as possible. Did you find any relevant information that could be useful?" He said quickly.
"Negative, to our dismay we have found no useful technology. Commander, should we just abort the mission now?"
Kepe then had an idea.
"Actually, Field Master I recommend the opposite. I am guessing you are about to break into the capital?"
"Yes, we are about to drill into the main doors. It is likely the leader of the Imperials is abound here."
"In that case, if you can, do not kill their leader and anyone else. They may serve us as prisoners onboard our ship. Do not engage them, disarm whoever you can but it is the main leader I want. Otherwise kill anyone who tries to shoot you. Once you do post haste! We will send in phantoms straight away."
"Of course sir. We are currently deactivating the shields around the base by hacking into their computers. Once we do we will conquer them by force." She replied before dispatching from the comm.
"Sir what about those troops that are nearest to the meteorites? The Phantoms will have a huge risk of being struck by those meteors, we don't know where they are appearing. As far as we know, the Field Master, Elch Masal' and his troops are nearest to this threat."
"Then they will have to retreat from the station as far as possible. Elch I am afraid must go alone. I do not like this as much as you do. Get the Phantoms as close in range however. Have the Scarabs provide a defensive perimeter near the Space Station so that Elch with his troops will be able to have some cover fire. Once the Arachnids rise from the meteors, they will not stop. The Banshees will be able to provide bomb runs on the Arachnids until the Phantoms are available to save Elch. If he makes it alive and back to our ship we will glass this planet." He said with regret in his voice. The Phantoms were a risky choice if the meteors were to land close there. Elch would have to find his way back. And as he watched, he saw the shields disappearing across the station, making it wide open to the assault of the wraiths. But they would soon be removed from the battlefield. Kepe had a think then went on the comm to Elch.
"Field Master Elch, this is the Fleet Commander. You have to flee right now. Post haste to the other side of the station. You have a colony of Arachnids coming your way. You should remember the report I gave to the troops on this creature. Make your way across the station where the Scarabs are going to be holding a defensive wall. We will have Phantoms waiting for you there." He warned Elch...

Mhpe meanwhile was waiting with most of her elites at a large door which one of the Minors was drilling through with a special torch that was meant for burning off sealed doors and surfaces, forcing them open...

Three Koultian farmers were on a nearby hover transporter, a simple platform like vehicle with a cockpit at the front. The oldest one shouted "Damned crazy aliens!! Who the hell do they think they are??! landing a frigate on a damn field!!" One of the younger ones mused "Maybe they are lost and looking for directions..." The three wolf like farmers continued to stare up at the towering ship ahead of them, being ants compared to its massive hull. A nearby Crop-Conditioning All Terrain vehicle (Crop-C.A.T. for short) jogged along on its four legs, approaching the hover platform. A Koultian inside the cockpit waved from behind the glass, pressing a button and opening the canopy. The machine slowed to a walk, two extra legs slideing out from the front to allow it to climb up the slope towards the hover platform. The pilot shouted "Errr, we have a bit of a problem if you didn't notice..." A small crowd of mostly children were gathered by the gates, watching the massive ship. There were all sorts of species there, includeing strange aliens which seemed like balloons wearing space suits.

Elch's eyes widened. "Arachnids?" he said. He immediately ordered his troops into retreat, and they pulled back, heading toward the Scarab wall.

Moment's later, the ground erupted in front of them, and what looked like Arachnid Warriors poured out. However, they all had a distinct tiger-stripe pattern to their carapaces. Regardless, Elch and his troops opened fire on the tiger-striped creatures as they pulled back. The Arachnids were significantly much tougher than normal Warriors, withstanding even a Needler explosion, which was only sufficient enough to tear off the insects' mandibles or limbs, but not kill them. Cursing under his breath, Elch fired into the swarm, at the same time making his way across the station with his Elites.

"We've confirmed, we've the planet..." The Grand Admiral replied, his voice saddened..

"Unconfirmed forces have touched down as well...My Lord, orders?" A captain appeared as he bowed, just reporting from the long range scanners.

"Move the fleet towards the area, were re-taking the planet..." Revan replied. The Dark Lord glanced towards the two officers behind him. Both officers looked at the darkly armored Sith Lord in front of them.

"I thought we were abandoing and focusing on the droids!" The Grand Admiral asked in return.

Revan was aware of the order but said nothing still the Armada preapred, all they needed was the confrimation order.

"Lower the shields...drop your weapons, we've lost..." The Field General said as he walked out of the hq center. All this time data was being recorded...they were just tests and their deaths and combat information would be used later for future battles to further increase the skills of the new batches of clone troopers. Everything was for the Empire..

on board the dormant Marican war coloney, Telsa beta 67, two soilders, fully suited up, made the final repairs to the sensor system. Talking absently. The coloney was built onto an asteroid but most of the facilitys were shut down. Its original purpose was as a listening and garrison post during the eastern colitions war. It had been a short affair and quickly resolved. Now it only held a skeleton crew of 95 soilders. The station manager was in the control room, in contact with the engineers. They called through the coms "There... that should fix it..." He tapped a few keys and watched as the sensor system re-activated. He smiled happily and said "Nice work men..." Without the sensor system activated they could only see in one direction off the asteroid and were blind in every other. His smile faded as he noticed something on the screen. Something that shouldnt be there. Alarm lights blinked on. What the computer had tagged as organisims were passing into visual range. He looked up at the sky light. Watching as a few shapes appeared over the horizon... Blueish pod like objects comeing right towards them. He grabbed the PA system and called over the station "Incomeing! Ordanance! everyone suit up fully!" just as he finished saying that, the first pod crashed. Slamming right into the damaged sensor system... The blast startleing the two engineers and blowing them to the ground...
