Nightbane stared at the Wildebeest scrutinisingly. "If you had waited and eaten the Tapir i caught back at the cave, you wouldn't need to eat now" he snarled with mild irritation. the Wildebeest was a decent size, sure. about the same size as the elderly one he'd killed before he came across the wolves. it seemed to have been killed beforehand, and there was a hole where it's stomach had been, and part of it's flank had been consumed. he finally stood up and snarled "you're in no condition to go risking your life against a bunch of hungry crocodiles. they'd sooner lunge for you than me"....

Razor hissed almost with anger * The crocs are going to be blocked by the wilderbeasts body and i think i will have enough time to react* He did not want to back down from this. * So do we try to steal the corpse or find something else*.

"If you really want it, we may as well get it" rumbled Nightbane simply as he began walking towards the Wildebeest...

Razor,Debra, and Jane ran towards the back of the wilderbeast and they started to try to get it away from the crocs mouths. One crocodille came on land but Debra, clawed it in the eye with her back leg and it quickly backed away. Another croc lounged onto its hide trying to bite Razors head. Razor clawed it in the eye and Jane did the same thing to another one.

Nightbane, knowing there was no way to get the Crocodiles away unless the kill was out of their reach, lunged for the Wildebeest's back, clamping down with his jaws, the teeth sinking deep into it's spine, Nightbane dragging back as hard as he could, pulling it several feet inland...

Rogue had made his way farther upriver, seeing that there was no reason to worry about any more interlopers on his territory. Instead, he followed the scent of blood and the sound of splashing water, looking for the source...

Debra and Jane tried to keep the crocs ocupied while Razor helped the lion drag the wilderbeast further into the brush. Then Jane and Debra ran away following Razor and the lion, thus ruining the crocs feast. Razor started to eat.

Nightbane made sure not to let the wolves feed until they were safely within the trees. he had seen large crocs before, and he had no intention of trying to wrestle the kill from something that could eat him whole...

There were almost no injuries, Debra had a small bite mark on her foot from the first croc that attacked. The splashing of the river was still present. Razor hissed * Lets spend the night up that hill* He started climbing up while Jane and Debra dragged the wilderbeast behind.

you rush through things too much Paavel...

Nightbane had a firm hold of the Wildebeest's neck, knowing that the wolves wouldn't stand a chance of pulling something that size alone. luckily the hill wasn't too steep, and he was able to relax his jaws once they reached the top, twisting his neck to get the crick in it, out. he then tore into the corpse and began to eat, satisfied with their little steal. not far below, beyond the trees, a particularly massive Crocodile drifted. in the others' frenzy they failed to notice it, and it was only a atter of moments before one of the crocodiles themselves was killed and consumed by the giant...

The pack were finally up the hill. Jane and Debra started to feast but Razor was aside. He was trying to keep all of the insects away from his wounds. He rolled on the ground in an attempt to crush them. Then he started biting himself. Suddenly Silver Tooth came to mind. Razor thought what would happen if they met? Would Razor have to fight his brother to reclaim his dominance? He isolated that from his mind right now, as he saw the monster crocodile that the lion saw. He hoped when night aproached he would not come up the hill for revenge. The moon showed up and the pack fell asleep. Razor speculated that the sound of the crocs tail going up the hill should give him more time to react. He was trying to think ahead, incase the croc caught up to them. But he could not do that right now. He ate some more insects that were trying to feast on his skin and then fell asleep.

Nightbane had decided to stand watch while the others slept, occasionally taking a bit or two from the Wildebeest. below, it seemed the water had calmed, crocodiles having scattered to other spots in the river, the giant nowhere to be seen...

The only motion in the river below was Rogue, who slinked up onto the riverbank, watching the group at the top of the hill hungrily. He knew he wouldn't be able to get the wildebeest yet, not with the lion still awake. Instead, he lay there, mouth shut, trying to appear non-threatening to try and avoid attention...

The night was quiet, there was not a single burst of wind. Razor and the pack were asleep. Some of the jungles predators hunted by this hour. There was movement in the river below. With weak splashing sounds swimmed a zebra. It hide had a huge bite mark. Not paying attention to all the predators arround it, it reached the shore just under the hill. Suddenly right behind it, there was other movement. Now the culprit was exposed. The Jaguar slowly walked towards the zebra knowing that there is no way out. It bit onto its neck, thus ending its life. It looked up and saw the pack on the hill. He took them for juvenile zebras, or lost antilope. The jaguar started climbing up the hill.

Rogue, spotting the nearby Jaguar walk away, crawled over to the dead Zebra, grabbed it in his massive jaws, and dragged it into the water. An easy steal, and an excellent meal for the monstrous crocodile...

The Jaguar did not notice the giant that had just stole his hard earned prey. He thought the pack as 3 antilope, and somehow, the lions massive body was invisible to him. He continued uphill, almost reaching them.

Nightbane had been watching the Jaguar with interest. at first, he thought it'd just take the zebra it killed and leave. but when it abandoned it and started climbing up the hill, he decided it was time to take action. a low rumbling snarl came from Nightbane as he straightened, staring down at the Jaguar threateningly...

Razor and the pack were not awaken by the snarl. The Jaguar quickly hissed back. It was smart so it did not go up the hill, he knew that would wake up the wolves. He was daring the lion *Come down here and fight me* . At first the Jaguar was threatened when he saw the big lion, but then he decided not to step back. The Jaguar wanted to lure the lion downhill, where the wolves would not have enought time to react and save him. His strategy was to get beside or behind the lion. When he was beside him, he could claw him on the hide, when he was behind him, he would jump onto him and try to inflict some damage. He knew he could not take the lion head on, so he relied on speed over power.

"If you want your life to last longer than a few moments, you'd be wise to leave here" snarled Nightbane, his piercing feral gaze enough to freeze most creatures in their tracks with pure fear. he couldn't leave the wolves now in case there were others watching them other than the Jaguar...but he wouldn't hesitate to break the creature's neck if it got too close...

The Jaguar hissed * Im not backing down from this! Theres no way you can beat me im faster than you!* The Jaguar kicked some dirt and grass at the lion, trying to make him rush into him, and hopefully make his movie. He started kicking more dirt at the lion trying to be quiet as possible. The Jaguar hissed * Who do you think you are? Top Predator?* This Jaguar has been living in the jungle and he had never heard of a lion.
