"I see you're jumpy today, Gaara" said a voice from within the room to his right, the door open slightly. Gaara walked in and spotted the owner of the voice. a man in black clothes. black camo-trousers, a tight black t-shirt and a small backpack. "What do you want, Ed?" said Gaara irritably. "Nothin' much. just stopped in to see whether you'd found 'Fat' Freddy Cardo. seeing as i-" he started before being pinned to the wall by Gaara, unaided by sand, this time. "Why don't you get off your skinny black *** and search for him yourself? i have my own work to do" he said. Ed quickly brought his hands up to the hand on his neck and pulled the fingers off, though with great difficulty, loosening the grip enough to get free. "Well, for one, that lard *** has so many guards around him it's impossible to get at him unless you're prepared. so i don't have a chance of getting to him even if i stumble across him by mistake. people are too afraid of him to tell me, and the only guy who might know is so powerful he'd have me dead before i even knew HE knew i was lookin' for 'im!" said the man as he drew a dagger from his pocket, a diamond studded, Ivory grip flashing with almost as much of a shine as the Chrome-Steel blade itself, as he flipped the blade between his fingers. "Secondly, I already have a price on my head by the Mafia. hell, i could be hit right now!" he said as he faked a gesture by bringing his dagger to his neck, as if slitting his own throat. "And lastly, if i accidentally whack some guy YOU'RE after, i'm as good as dead anyway!" he finally said, trying to get Gaara to do this for him. "Unless i need him to get to what I want, i'm not looking for him. find someone else. get some practice using all those knives and make use of them" said the red headed man as he looked at Ed. at that moment, with a slight flash, a blade zipped past Gaara's face, 2 feet away, nailing a painting of several people in a scene of a battle, the blade hitting the center character in the eye, the blade sinking in about 2 inches, having penetrated the somewhat brittle apartment wall. "I got practice. just not the numbers" said Ed, now talking seriously and somewhat irritated. "With enough shots like that, you don't need numbers" said Gaara, not even flinching, his expression still as blank as it had been all day. Ed decided it was best to leave for now. Gaara wasn't in a negotiating mood, and arguing with him after the trail of destruction he'd caused out of annoyance all day was just asking for trouble. "Fine...but if i kill someone you want, don't say i didn't warn ya". Ed walked off to the window, and leapt out. Gaara didn't bother worrying. Ed wasn't as normal as he seemed. he wasn't weak either. he'd be fine...
"Ah yes, organised chaos. the sign of a clever but ever-busy mind. To the perpetrator, a carefully woven web of belongings and intrigue, but to the bystander? Madness!"
