Space E-war

Where good and bad RPGs and E-wars go to die.

"Typical behavior Commander Kepe...relax, this is is not the full force, be advised...Commander move your ships behind mine and engage the reinforcements, I'll move my fleet closer to the enemy planet and deploy our units" Admiral Kaine replied.

Torpedo Spheres however where in the first half of the fleet...the tartans heavily helped the Spheres as their rapid firing laser cannons easily gunned down the spores with rapid percision. The Torpedo Spheres quickly recieved data on targets and soon their numerous missles tubes unleashed hell as massive Assualt Concussion Missles, Class II's were much more powerful as upon contact they unleashed a devastating payload that could wipe out massive ammounts of units..

The Star Destroyers were given targets, they began to decimate parts of the planet that was deemed unretakeable...prehaps they would get yelled at later but as "allies" they would help rebuild and a few decimated areas was better then the planet lost..

OOC; There are no spores left, only Space Bugs and ground forces. Besides, only point-defense lasers could target something as small as a spore.

The Space Bugs continued to fire, not letting up for a second and brining down ship after ship. They slowly whittled away at the fleet.

Point Laser Turrets and missles and turbo lasers fired at the space bugs as the large Imperial held as they unleashed Thousands of Fighters as they engaged the Space Bugs using their speed and weaponry to defend the capital ships whose shields held strong. Withdrawing power from the engines to strength the shields and weaponry, The Imperials Shield engaged both ground and space targets.

Any plasma bugs were quickly fired upon if they fired as highly detailed maps from previous probe watching enabled the fleet to fire highly accurate missles that were desgined to enter the tunnels fo the Bugs and denonate, killing any in range and sealing off tunnels..

The Plasma Bugs, which were located on the surface, continued to fire, their plasma blasts sometimes taking out missiles and kept going, only to slam into a ship. Any tunnels that collapsed were quickly re-excavated.

The Space Bugs, their weapons made especially for penetrating shields, pounded the imperial ships, depleting shields in a heartbeat and turning their hulls into swiss cheese as the flaming hulks fell to the surface of the planet, burning up in the atmosphere.

Thousands of swift moving starfighters continued to lend aid as they continued to cover the Imperial ships, moving swiftly and fast. With more plasma bugs detected vollies of heavy turbo laser fires, especilly from the executor class Star Dreadnought, the "Reaper" whoose vast ammount of weaponry displayed heaviily as it continued to fire vollies of turbo laser fire at the surface as missles continued to fire..

Much of the ordinance aimed at the Plasma Bugs was dissipated or destroyed as it collided with the wall of plasma that came from the planet's surface. Those shots that did hit only vaporized a couple Plasma Bugs, barely denting the vast numbers of them. Many starfighters were accidentally caught in Space Bug blasts and any that attacked the massive insects did little to their hull-like armor plates. The Space Bug energy beams ripped through the enemy fleet like toilet paper, not stopping for a moment.

"Of course" said Serephir with a grin. "Would you rather the formalities, a drink, or just get right to it and load up your gear on the vessel?" he added...

"What's this about decent pay?" A dark brown-furred Skaven walked up behind Serephir. He had a surprisingly normal voice for a Skaven, and tapped the Vardian on the shoulder. "If you don't mind, I could be of some help as well."

"And what can you do?" said Serephir as he looked over his shoulder, turning around and backing off so that he was side by side with the Koultian, Thara. it was considered disrespectful to show one's back to a comrade to talk to another...

The Skaven grinned, showing sharp fangs. "I'm very good with stealth and can trick any hostile alien we come in contact with. Ask anyone. They'll tell you just how good a Skaven is at trickery."

"Interesting. Come on. we can talk along the way" said Serephir with a grin. as much as this guy was confident in his abilities, Serephir needed to know the extent of them. he planned to ask him more on their way to a nearby bar...

Suddenly a group off reinforcements had arrived...Admiral Kaine had predicted that the Bugs would attempt to use more bugs at thei arrival so he divided his forces. Star Destroyers and Tartans moved in as their fighters were unleashed as the small, rapid firing Tartans began to fire towards the Space Bugs along with the Accalmator's and Broad Side Cruisers. Meanwhile the main Star Destroyers decimated bug controlled areas as plasma bugs and everything else around them was erradicated..

Thara growled "If you wouldn't mind, could you tell me where your ship is and its number? No offence ment, but I need to ask around first and I will link up with your crew as soon as possible." In truth, he just wanted time to go and examine the ship on his own. The handy thing about being Alien was nobody recogniseing signs of being lied to.

"Dock 4. two guards at the entrance to the ship. it should be rather easy to spot. metallic grey paint job. black Falcon logo on both sides" said Serephir simply as he walked, heading for the next stop, the Skaven with him...

The Skaven nodded, padding after Serephir. "Any questions, or have I gotten your agreement already?" he chittered with a grin.

"Well...what kind of experience do you have with space travel?" said Serephir inquiringly...

Serephir shrugged, nodding in satisfaction. "How long do you need to get ready?" he asked, stopping for a moment in front of a small pub that he had heard was a basic meeting ground for the more experienced travellers. many an old friend made this pub their meeting place...

"I could leave right now, actually," said the Skaven. "I have all my things with me right here." He spread his arms, showing his simple leather clothing, along with a knife and Warplock Pistol on a belt he wore. "Name's Arqueek, by the way."

Luckily, the Elites had either been wiped out or removed from the areas the Imperial Fleet were glassing. Kepe of course and he knew the other Zealots were very very, annoyed at this. But they knew it was the only way, and Kepe was going to murder whatever was in leadership of the Arachnids, he would make sure that thing would never live to see the next day. The Elites were at least in greater numbers than the Arachnids...
