OOC: Shade, Khamul's a Nazgul.

Khamul, safely away from the human forces, used his Fell Beast to fly off into the air, preparing for the dragon rider to inevitably attack again. the elite soldiers had an annoying habit of refusing to know when to retreat.

Used to situations where the phalanx was broken...archers provided cover as they used their vollies to constantly break up any attempts of an organized assualt and to just fire towards the hell knights leaving the Imperial Legion below to regroup quicklu. Standing together, shoulder to shoulder as soon as the demons moved in strike, a unison struck at the demons seemingly at the same time before they brought up their shields once more to defend as they began to hold their ground, then shove then slash all in seemingly perfect unison...with archers firing towards the hell knights to prevent parts of the line of being broken.

The downed Dragon Knight who was dueling Khamul took to the skies and swooped in as his dragon smashed through through the middle of the army, skidding close to the range, biting and slashing and using his side to crush foes in his way as the Knight fired blasts of energy from his blade before the dragon took to the skies...Khamul seemed to be distracted but he was not going to take chances, he went higher as he prepared to fight Khamul once more..

A fireball slammed right into the dragon's face as he flew upwards, Khamul swooping in to rake his mount's talons across the stunned beast's face.

The Demons scattered at the dragon's attack, but Malebolgia was able to keep them in line. Their numbers were too much for the Grandall army, and they were slowly whittling away at them. It seemed that every time a human cut down a Demon, five took its place, dragging the soldier down and ripping him to pieces. Some of the Demon army encircled the Grandall army, trapping them on three sides and using the Hellknights to hack away at the humans, giving the Demons a chance to slam into them like a tide, before drawing back and waiting for a counterattack.

Pandora sliced open a human's throat and sucked greedily at the wound feeling him squirm under her hands. When he was properly dry, she stood and wiped her mouth.

Gallant swung his sword, flames flying towards the archers, hitting the ground and surrounding them. He chuckled at he out stretched his arm, the clouds above the area darkened and swirled. Lightning then flew down from the heavens, killing some archers and sevearly wounding others.

The battle had finally reached its peak while archers and soldiers in the back hurled spears towards the hell knights with the classical soldiers fighting together. It was far from over...

"For Grandall!" The phase repeated several times from an unknown direction but it was soon revealed, the phrase echoing as the infantry could only smile, there was hope...coming from the Demon's Army's flank as the thundering sound of Knights galloping on their armored steeds. A massive heavy cavalry charge had been set up as they road together, spreaded out as they slammed into flank of the demon army,their horses ramming demons of their way as the armed Knights with sword and shield began to cut down the demons.

The cavalry charged pressed on and soon they would be able to cut the demon army in half...one occupied by the infantry, the other with the elite and powerful Imperial Legion calvary.

Dragon Knights from above lended their aid as they found time to openly fire massive fireballs into the demon ranks, blasting demon units apart as catapults were unleashed, hidden in the back of the army as they helped pounded the demonic army.

A blast of flame came from the Demon ranks, immolating the Knights as they charged into the Demon army. Demon Spellcasters, at least three of them, erected a shield of fire to keep the Knights from charging through. Any that tried were incinerated. This allowed the Demon army to focus on the human infantry and deal with the knights afterwards. The Spellcasters were well-protected, safe in the middle of the army, where their average appearance kept them from being individually targeted.

Galant's horse reared up and charged the knights. Gallant outstreteched his hands, from the swirl of clouds was his lightning whips. The whips shot down and wrapped around Gallant's wrist. He swung the writhing bolt of lightning at the knights, those hit fell to the ground in a flash of light and fire.

The Calvary aware of the dangerous divided their efforts...realizing they could not split the army in half but they still had options. Moving around they continued to cut down the demonic hordes, some heading for the back of the army, others heading for the front as The Imperial Legions of Grandall gained more ground, fighting together as catapaults and archer vollies helped them advance..

A Dragon Knight who was free from combat swooped down and continued to smash and crush any demons in front of him with brutality before unleashed a massive black fireball that ripped through the demonic hordes before it moved around...targeting Gallant..

A flaming ball of iron flew through the sky towards the death knight. Gallant swung his whip into the ball, it exploding, showering some of the remaining humans and some demons with shrapnel. Gallant relinquished his bolts of lightning and unsleathed his sword.

The Demon army made another sudden charge, pushing forward and forcing the Grandall army backwards with a vicious attack, cutting down more soldiers. Archers in the back slowly cut down the soldier even more.

Meanwhile, the catapults were suddenly silence, their crews dead in an instant. The Djin had done their job, the invisible Demons lighting the siege weapons on fire before leaving, heading back to the Wastelands, their job done.

The calvary moved as units, moving around as continued to aid the Imperial Legions as they pressed foward heading towards the back of the enemy army, slicing and cutting down and smashing anybody in their way, holding their ground.

The phalanx still held and any efforts to foil it were crushed by archers as continued to weaken the front lines with their arrows as the advance of the infantry would be easier. While the horsemen were doing their job, large fireballs came fromwithin the Imperial Army...there were Mages within the army as well as they used their magical spells to decimate hell knights and units in the demonic hordes that was untouched by any of the Grandall men..

The Demons magic proved much more destructive than the humans', waves of flame passing through the ranks of the Grandall army and cutting them down in bulk, giving the Demons another foothold. They also kept the shield up, protecting the Demon army from a rear attack by the Knights. Khamul would occasionally pass through the Imperial Legions, knocking them down, slicing them to pieces, or simply plucking them from the sky and letting them plummet to their doom.

(Hey Ana, er...does that mean the Grandall soldiers are seponding to Galant's attacks?)

Gallant ran out to the oopen, ready to charge the advancing army head on. His cape of fire flowed out behind him. The hell kight then embedded his sword into the ground, the hosre suddenly turning right. Fire eruputed from the ground where the sword sliced through, the fire sheilding a weak side of the demonic army. Gallant jumped through it unscathed and continued pressing on.

Blood spattered on Pandora's robes as she cut through the humans like butter. "Is that all you got?!" she yelled, once again stabbing another human with a knife she had picked up.

OOC: everything is soo confusing, its total war

A Dragon Knight swooped in, ambushing Khamul and his mount as the dragon took its claws and slammed down towards the sides of the mount...slashing at it while slamming it towards the ground before spinning up in the air, firing a massive firey twister towards th edemonic army...The elite Dragon Knight watched as a twister of fire, away from the Grandall Troopers formed, the flame began to annihilate any nearby demons as it grew larger, giving it more destructive force to the demonic hordes

The horseman directed their attacks towards the front of the battle where they began to attack the flanks, slicing down hordes of orcs in their way as the infantry held strong. The battle was dragging on and while it was evenly, they couldnt fight forever like this...a turning point was needed but with the Knights occupied, the Imperial Legion troopers focused on holding their ground as took in every wave of enemies, holding and killing countless enemies with their nearly impentrable phalanx. Any man killed in front was replaced with a man behind him..

With a swing of his blade, Gallant sent a wave of air towards the Phalanx, blowing the soldiers over head of the army.The death knight rode into the enemy army, beheading shocked soldiers,

The Demon spellcasters took control of the twister of fire, using it to drill through the Grandall army, immolating countless troops and once again allowing the Demons access. They charged into the humans, using the distraction to cut down human after human, the Hellknights still going strong and scattering humans like ninepins. Khamul ignored the Dragon Knight, who was attacked from behind by another Nazgul. Instead, Khamul attacked the phalanx, using his shriek, magic, and mount to decimate it in short order. After he was done, he took off again, leaving the Demons to rip the human army to pieces. It was outnumbered and outmatched by the Demons. They would have to retreat eventually.

[TyrannoTitan]

The Witch King swerved to one side, his fel beast narrowly avoiding the attack, instead of reflecting it back at the two. Another bolt of lightening cracked off of the dragon's chest, the Witch King leading his fel beast toward them, mace at the ready, hoping to cave in the dragon's skull...

However the mages within the Grandall Empire were powerful...using their spells and magic, they used it to control the minds of numerous demons as they turned them against themselves. Most demons were weak minded but with their spells it was easy as they helped turn the demom army against each other...using this time, reinforcements held in reserve arrivied from the back to back up the slowly recovring Imperial Legion who used this time to regroup and recover and prepare for the next assualt.

Meanwhile Ancalagon flew up as he moved at a high speed...as they two steeds closed in, Ancalagon the Black used his jaws to catch the Fell Beast by the legs..his jaws away from the claws as he clutched the beast. The massive black dragon tightened his hold as he began to drag the Fell beast..intending to smash him towards the demonic army as Arathorn fired a blast of lighting from his blade towards the Witch King..
