"This one cat has done alot for the clan in the past. he alone has done what whole clans have failed to do. i agree that we have to get him back....but at the same time, we can't be wreckless. charging blindly at an enemy we know nothing about is an invitation for them to get free victims. more to imprison with Firestreak...or kill. before we do anything, we need to find out where they are, and what they're doing, as well as how many of them there are. for Firestreak to be completely captured, i wouldn't be surprised if there's at least 10 of them. 7 alongside the 3 we've faced...and open to larger numbers. before we do anything...we need to sort out a plan of action" growled Wraith lowly, his mind working into overdrive to try and pick up any details he could from the encounter...

"We could...try rogue tactics" Snowstar mewed. "Get a cat on the inside... a cat cold and ruthless as the lot of them but could relay details of the clan to us. Risky... but the best chance to get details normally overlooked from distant observation" He growled, his voice quiet, wary of the fact the cats might still be close, listening...

"I could follow them while someone goes for backup," Swift suggested. He flashed a glance at Snowstar, then at Shadowsoul. "I'm less valuable than Firestreak, so if I get caught the distraction might just be enough to let you sneak in, grab Firestreak, and get out."

Wraith shook his head to Swift's suggestion. "I won't have that happen. too risky and not solid enough. too much room for mistakes...problems...complications" he growled. "Snowstar, as potentially effective as that plan is, our Clan is somewhat short on evil bloodthirsty cats. Coldeyes could do it, but he's your Deputy. and of the two of them, he's quite honestly the more capable of leading. he's firmer and more experienced....I can pull off evil fairly well...had a reputation for it, afraid to say...but the problem is that they know my face. they won't be fooled by me sneaking in pretending to be a loner" he explained...

"Not to mention" Snowstar began with a solemn meow. "These cats are proabably expecting retalliation... they would be suspicious of cats appearing to them at this time... probably torture them and do Starclan knows what to them in order to allow passage. I will not stand for cats being broken by these monsters" He growled, frustrated at the situation

Alaitoc shook his head once more. "I see there's no way I can convince you two otherwise...but know that Novaclan will help you as best as they can, whatever you decide." he growled, bowing slightly. "In the meantime, I suggest you double the number of cats in each patrol group. We can't let them catch a small group off guard." he suggested with a nod.

"Agreed. Again Alaitoc, Novaclan has our thanks" growled Wraith, before glancing at Swift, Lightstorm and Snowstar. "Shall we leave?" he growled...

"Let's go," Lightstorm meowed. Swift nodded, though his tail was still lashing at the news that the former deputy's life was held in the paws of the monster cat Ashspots had become and his....Clanmates, for lack of a better word, though these cats were far from being a Clan. They were just a group of savages who wanted to murder and destroy.

Snowstar broke off wordlessly, heading to the clan camp. He had a lot of thinking to do, that much was clear...

Wraith nodded to the Novaclan cats one more time, before heading off with the rest of his clanmates to the camp...this new issue had thrown him offbalance. he had suspected a danger was brewing in the midst of the peace....but he had never thought that he'd be exposed to anything quite as twisted as Dark Forest worshippers....outright worshippers....that, in turn, brought on more worries. Tigerclaw had been part of Dark Forest. if there was any chance at all that they could somehow communicate with Dark Forest dwellers...that meant that basically all the worst cats that had ever lived were backing this new monstrosity of a clan...the implications were unnerving...he'd need to see if he could contact Starclan...

Swift drew forward to walk at Shadowsoul's shoulder. "What will you tell the Clan?" he mewed. His ice blue eyes were a storm of emotions he refused to express.

Alaitoc watched the Stormclan cats leave, before turning back to his own clanmates. "What do we do now, Exarch?" one of the she-cats questioned, the group relaxing slightly. "We're going to find out where this Xavius calls home. Its the least we can do for Stormclan." he growled, the she-cat nodding in understanding. As if deciding wordlessly, a portion of the warriors broke off from the rest, bounding back into the foliage toward Novaclan's territory, while Alaitoc and two others moved in the opposite direction.

"The truth" growled Wraith simply. "We may have found our Bloodclan....or worse..." he added...

Swift fell silent as he wound his way around a clump of dying bracken. "Most if not all of the cats aren't going to take it well," he mewed. "How do you plan to reassure them?"

"Remind them of everything they fought through so far...the challenges we've all overcome" growled Wraith. "We've defeated foes in the past. we've survived the decimation of the former clans and rose to our feet in destruction's wake...we took out all four of the colour clans in a single night...and to top it off....we had the strength to put differences that had caused wars between the clans in the past, aside, and go past them. we've achieved what no member of Thunderclan or Shadowclan before us could ever have dreamt of achieving. we've repeatedly done what was said to be impossible. if we could do all that...we can definately deal with this new threat" he added firmly...

Swift nodded, bracing his well-muscled shoulders as if he were literally carrying the weight of the message that had to be delivered. "You're a born leader, Shadowsoul," he meowed. "May StarClan grant that you're with us for many seasons to come."

Wraith smiled as he eyed the younger tom. "Thank you, Swift....i appreciate that" he meowed. "Though I'm afraid I'm far from perfect....But i do intend to serve Stormclan as best i can as long as i live" he added...

"We need that kind of loyalty at the head of the Clan now more than ever," Swift meowed, returning the smile. "Our Clanmates will look to you to and trust you to lead us through the storm that lies ahead because of it. We'll be behind you and Snowstar every step of the way."

After his brisk walk to the clan, Snowstar entered Stormclan camp, to the relief of the line of cats standing guard dilligantly. Immediately the change in their leader was visable to the cats and from his expression alone knew something grim had turned up. "Coldeyes!" The white tom growled as he made his way to the leader's den. The brown pelted deputy appeared out of the crowd of readied warriors, who didnt dare stand down until they were instructed to do so. "Snowstar?" Coldeyes mewed as he stepped into pace with the leader, walking beside him. "Whats going on? Where are the others?" He mewed. "Not too far behind" Snowstar replied, eyes fixed on the ground as his mind was still locked in deep thought. Everything he did was almost instinctual. "A new clan has emerged, Coldeyes. A clan comprised of cats who praise the Dark Forest and have murderous intent to go with their beliefs. They've taken Firestreak hostage" Coldeyes gave him a look of disbelief, out of character for the tom, who usually went along with life without even a twitch of a whisker. "Needless to say, we need to get him back. Even more obvious, we need a plan...and Starclan's guidance. If these cats are worshipping the damned then theres reason to believe they speak to them as well" The two cats entered the leader's den, their forms disappearing into the shadows. "I see." Coldeyes mewed, sitting just by the entrance of the den. "What are my orders?" He asked. "Double every patrol. Anything beyond that is up to you and Robinflight. But of urgent business...Wraith and I need to contact Starclan" Snowstar growled, midway into the den, looking around. "Your going to make contact here?" Coldeyes asked, cocking his head. "I did it before, when I was getting my lives" Snowstar mewed, shaking his head. "Fox dung! Ive done more difficult things!" He snarled. Coldeyes raised a brow at his normally well mannered leader, but simply nodded. "Of course. Shall I get Cloudhaze?" Snowstar nodded, letting out a heavy sigh. "Yes..please" He growled appologetically. He didnt mean to vent off like that. "As you wish" Coldeyes growled, slipping back out of the den while Snowstar prepared himself. "Hawksight walk with me" He thought. With Leaf Bare fast approaching, these would be trying times.

Riverstone looked at the den entrance, worried. Her father was clearly troubled. "So just like that...our lives are changing" She growled, sounding a little nervous despite her best efforts. She tried to emulate her father's attitude and followed his teachings as best as she could. Kindness, self control, rational thinking... seeing him like she had unerved her. A brown tail with black and white splotches wrapped about her flank as Mudswirl tried to comfort her sister, though she said nothing. Fogcloud watched the clan members move about, feeling as if there were a barrier between him and the cats around him. It was more than surreal... he felt out of place standing with his family, and even more lost around the strangers of the clan. The impact of nine moons away from home was clear. He walked about the lines of cats, stopping near Demontalon. They might not be mates again, and their relationship isnt best described as "Friends", but she was the closest thing to an old friendly face he had

Wraith walked into the camp, his eyes clouded with thought, the tom almost instinctually walking right for the den, the moons of life here having burned the path into his mind to the point he could walk it blind. the tom entered the den, eyes immediately drifting to the pale furred leader within. "Have you given the order to double the patrols?" he growled as he went to his corner of the den...

Nightclaw watched uncomfortably as the situation unfolded. he was posted at one side of the camp, amidst several other warriors. first Snowstar...now his father. both with the same disturbed look on their faces. what was going on? was there really a threat that bad in the forest? he'd been told stories by his mother about the events that Shadowsoul and Snowstar set into motion before, during and after the foundation of Stormclan. events that he had trouble believing. events that seemed too difficult for any normal cat. if those were true, then what in Starclan's name could possibly be so bad that it'd put the Leaders of the clan, the ones that had done so much, into such an unnerving state? the possibilities disquietened him...
