Adeline laughed and shook her head "Oh James...hm, let's take the quick way there. I'm guessing you want to get there faster to taste your beloved drink," she joked. "Always reminded me of Jack with that habit, among other things..."

"Ey?" said James at the comment. "What other things?". he opened the roof/door to the ladder to the Captain's Cabin, waiting for Adeline to go first...

Adeline shrugged and climbed down. "Some of your mannerisms," she answered. "Oh yes, and always shooting that darn monkey." She smiled at some of the memories. "Plus certain things you say, like 'Oi' or how you say 'mate' many times, or when you say 'love', eh things like that."

James smiled. "Whose to say other Pirates don't use it just as much? just 'cause i'm 'is son doesn't mean i'm that close to him in personality, Savvy?" he said, more serious now, but suddenly inwardly cursing himself for using the word 'Savvy' in that sentence...

Adeline tried to stifle her laughter but it was useless. "That word too, almost forgot about that one. Thanks for reminding me," she said almost teasingly to him, a wide smile on her face. "Of course, there are some differences too. You're more violent than Jack."

James sighed. it was pointless. it was a lose lose situation for him. he grinned at the violence comment though. he drew one of his swords from it's sheath, the blade glinting red in the light of the sun shining through a hole in one wall...where the Weapons Locker had been. he looked at the hole for a moment, his face expressionless, before saying "oh Bugger"...

Adeline observed James' sword. It was beautiful the way it glowed red when the light touched it. She then stared at the hole that James was looking at, and said, "Aw no."

"There goes half of my emergency weaponry. maybe i can get Will to do me a favour and make me a couple of good swords for emergencies" said James with a shrug, before turning around, shrugging the hole off and walking to the other side of the Cabin, opening the luckily still intact Rum Cabinet, looking over to Adeline, saying "What about you? Rum? water? anything else?"...

Adeline shrugged. "Water would be nice, thank you James." She leaned against one of the walls and sighed, thinking about various things. "What are we going to do next, I mean after the celebration and everything is over? Continue plundering other ships? And what about the...the baby?"

James looked down at where the rum mugs used to be placed, only to find a rather inconveniently placed hole. he sighed as he pulled out a bottle of rum and another of water, handing the water to Adeline before opening his, taking a long swig before saying "Well...The child is to be raised at sea. where he or she is actually born is up to you, provided we're not caught in the middle of the bloomin' ocean when the time comes, in which case, tough luck, your child will end up being a born and raised Sea Wolf...as for what we do in the more immediate future, my plans are to repair the Reaper, dig out that gold, get my share to your father to help with his debts and hopefully solve his problems so i don't go around with a guilty conscience, and then i'm off on me merry way to looting, plundering me weasly black guts out"...

Adeline thought about the child and took a drink of water. "I would love to raise it to love the sea and the life of a pirate," she finally answered quietly. "It would be lovely to teach him or her the ways of sailing and sword fighting." She observed James as he drank his rum and smiled. "You would be a good father figure for the child." She giggled at the thought. "Who knows, maybe the child will develop some of your mannerisms. Hm as for the gold...I'm going to have to buy myself a new ship and some crew, though I loved my old ship."

James chuckled. "A bottle of Rum and a knife to slit the bottom of Pirates' pockets and bags of dubloons, all at three years old. that's how i was raised. i don't know if that would be the best way to raise your child" said James with a laugh. regarding Adeline and her new ship, he raised a brow. "So soon?" he said with mock disappointment. "It's either a ship, an apocalyptic battle or a second world getting in the way...at this rate i won't get to have you around at all!" he added...

"Aw James I can always come visit you on your ship and you'll get to see me every day! I'm not going to be drifting away from you anymore. Plus, I don't think you would like it if I started to give orders to your crew," Adeline teased.

James shrugged at the last comment, saying "Hey, two heads are better than one. i actually think we'd handle the crew even better that way". he took another swig of the Rum before sitting down in one of the chairs in the cabin...

Adeline drank the rest of her water and thought about it. "Hm, we'll see. For now, I think we should find a nice island, one with palm trees and white sand...oh and coconuts too!" She went next to James' side and wondered if it would be approriate to sit in his lap. "We can gather coconuts for some food and palm trees are just a nice form of shade. A big bonfire would be good too, though that would probably alert other sailing ships."

James grinned. "I like the sound of that idea" he said as he reached a hand for Adeline's and pulled her closer. "But me thinks it'd be a much more better idea to scrap the bon fire, for which we have no fuel, and make it an island for two. don't you?" he added in a humourous yet seductive tone...

Adeline was surprised and laughed a little when James pulled her in. She looked into his eyes, and smiled. "Hm, to get away from the crew and the buisyness on the ship? Sounds like a plan." She smirked and thought of something else. "We can always use the rum," she suggested and waited for a reaction from him.

James suddenly threw a look of pure horror at Adeline at the suggestion, before suddenly grinning smugly. "Not enough rum left on board for that" he said. "Are you going to get comfortable or do you plan to stand around like some kind of Aztec totem pole?" he commented...

Adeline rolled her eyes. "Aw if you insist." She did as James asked and got comfortable...on his lap. "Hm, you're right, much more comfortable now." She did a mock frown. "Aw and I wanted to burn the rum and start a nice fire to keep us warm and cozy. Oh well, I guess that idea is out."

James grinned in amusement at Adeline's comment. "Told you so" he said simply. when Adeline continued on the subject of burning rum, he said "Why burn it when we can drink it? we'd last longer with it in our stomachs than in a bloody big fire that'd probably end up serving as Raphael's stove"...
