"*******.." Arathorn to see just a section of the rear attacked. The Elven Archers turned around at once but they realized they better kept moving. The Grandall Dragon Knight faced foward as the the army pressed on. The battle with the demons was over as they headed for the mountains. They were only hoping for a fine welcome...something helpful and useful instead of just some random brutal assualt. They needed to work together..

The army continued on entering, following a mountain range which strectched all the way to the Dwarven Fortress. The fortress there was heavily defended and would make a perfect area for them to make their stand. But first they had to get there..

A booming roar sounded above the Grandall Army as an impossibly massive beast flew overhead, casting a shadow that seemed to darken the sky. As it passed over, a stream of flame erupted from its middle head, engulfing a portion of the group, before flying off, continuing south.

DM: stop randomly doing stuff like that. its annoying and pointless.

Stimeak slowed his flight, landing heavily onto the ground, his claws scraping into the rock. He folded his wings in, stareing down at the cave entrance below, a weathered statue of a cloaked figure standing guard next to it... A blueish gargoyle like figure leapt up onto his shoulder, its long tail moving around rythemitcly, its dragon like head stareing down at the cave with large eyes. Its rocky wings folded in and its clawed hands hanging loosely, its hands built out of three thumb claws arranged with one oppoiste two. It growled "Well there it is Bossman..." Stimeak glanced at the strange creature for a moment before looking back at the cave... He hissed "So, Gamal, when did you learn how to do that? I thought you were just a spirit" The gargoyle like creature smirked, seemingly proud of itself. Gamal growled proudly "Still am a spirit. I have finally collected enough of your magic to give myself form, but only in your mind. Im probably invisible to everyone else... it will take awhile to gain a truely physical form.... So yeah, I wont be able to travel very far from you before being slingshotted back into that empty void you call a skull. I'm being serious. that place is blank."

Without changeing his expression at all. Stimeak reached up with one long arm, flicking his annoying companion with one claw, the creature makeing a suprised grunt and being fired away before suddenly puffing into smoke. He growled "Well at least there is one advantage to this... I have ALWAYS wanted to do that...." He let a small portion of his life magic wander towards Gamals spirit again, letting him regenerate. The rocky creature appeared on his shoulder yet again, growling "Well that was uncomfortable... please dont do it again."

Stimeak smirked and hissed "As long as you don't give me a reason to..." He jumped off the rock, letting his wings catch the air... glideing down towards the bottem of the valley... Gamal jumped off aswell, spreading his wings and following Stimeak from above, the horn on his snout glowing with strange purple energies....

He landed lightly onto the ground, his claws clacking off the mossy paved floor... a badly kept road by the looks of it. Gamal landed next to him, takeing the landing with both legs and one hand. He leapt into the air nimbly landing onto Stimeaks shoulder. Stimeak begun walking foreward towards the cave entrance, his claws makeing clacking sounds off the rocks.... As he passed it, the statues eyes flashed purple... they dragon seemingly not noticeing... its arms begun to move and its head followed the dragons progress, its feet shifting as if it was willing itself to move foreward and do its duty. Gamal glanced at it and said quickly into stimeaks ear "Now, remember what I said about the guardian, in order to stop it we need to go through a delic-" He was cut off when Stimeak, without looking around, rose one glowing hand and opened his fist, a bolt of lighting blasting out and slamming into the statues chest. The guardian exploded, rock flying everywhere, it getting thrown across the road like a ragdoll, its legs connected to what was left of its chest, its arms and head still soaring through the air.
Silence fell, the only noise, the crackleing of electricity through the guardians twitching corpse and the tumbleing of upset rocks...

Gamal said blankly "-or you could always do that.... that works too..."
Stimeak padded silently into the darkness of the cave... Gamals voice saying as it died away "You know... you can be pretty blunt sometimes..."

OOC: Thanks Doc...seriously DM that was random :/

As the army continued to move, they had no time to stall and wait. They had to hurry. With the Knights over ahead, scanning the area for dangers up ahead or along the sides. If there was another attack..they only hoped they were ready for it.

Meanwhile The army of Elves that came along continued to press on, traveling well with the Grandall Army. While it was odd heading for the Dwarven mines..some still had grudes. Aeraindir himself was a bit catious while his brother Armas felt fine with it. The combined army continued to move, they would be at the Dwarven Fortress soon..

OOC: Okay, I get it!

Valroz pushed his army on, going in the direction they had been going before the earlier interruption.

Pandora started taking inventory of her injuries, besides a few scratches on her arms and a wound on her side she was fine.

The princes of darkness landed into the demon army, landing lightly and walking on, other demons moving out of their way. Deathfist was at their lead, his blood covered ribcage still visible, one side of his face contorted, one of his orange pupilless eyes tinted now tinted red... All scars of Neltharions flames... His helmet had fallen off during the fight and he never had much chest armour to begin with. They werent the only princes though, only the 13 of them had come to fight. The rest stayed back at their post, preparing for their up comeing battles...

Raven glided out of the sky, landing onto Deathfists shoulder. The demon prince grunted "Birdbrain, get to Marack... I'll catch up later, for now, he owns you." Raven nodded in acknowledgement, lifting into the air without a single smart remark...

Valroz growled to Deathfist, "Drekkor, how the hell was that dragon so powerful? He had the Black Alariel Gem, didn't he?"

Pandora looked at the threesome with curiosity and started listening intently. This could get fun, she thought.

OOC: I thought Deathfist's real name was Drekkor?

Valroz narrowed his eyes. "If we had someone who could keep track of that dragon and not be killed, it could lead Beliar to the Gem."

OOC: So it is... I really need to pay more attention to my characters :P

Deathfist shook his head, hissing "I dont think he would attack neltharion even if he knew where he was...." He turned and whisppered something to one of his comrades, who turned around, walking back through the army...

OOC:

Valroz growled, "Then no one will ever get the Black Alariel Gem while he has it then?" He looked at Deathfist's comrade curiously, but didn't bother asking.

Stimeak continued to trot through the dark cave... setting fire to the torches along the walls as he went... It wasn't much use in a fight for anything other than looking impressive, but the limited amount of magic taught to him by Inferno came in handy at times... He thought towards Gamal in his mind "So... Now that we are here... care to tell me more?" As Gamals presence grew greater, their minds were less linked... Stimeak could safely keep certain bits of information sealed away from the spirit and Gamal had his own treasure trove of private information. Gamal said aloud from atop his shoulder, clearly in the mood to excersice his new form completely "Well... I'm still makeing sense of most of it... I'll show it to you when I'm done... But listen to this..." A whispering, feminine voice suddenly sounded in Stimeaks ears, going from inaudible to deafening within moments "Help us Save Help us... Help us Save us Help us.... Help us Save us Help us... Please..." It continued over and over again untill suddenly stopping, as if it was sucked away by something... with a tone of suprise, Stimeak growled "What the hell was that?"
"Who... the hell was that"Gamal corrected "If I am not mistaken.. That is who we are here to see..."
All stimeak replied with was "I see..."
After a moment of silence, Gamal asked questioningly "Err Stimeak?"
Stimeak acknowledged him with a grunt "yes?"
The stony creature flexed its joints, loosening them, its lethary manueverable arms stretching... "Out of anything in the world, what do you desire most? I've been trying to work it out but can't..."

Stimeak replied blankly "Simple. I desire nothing. An age ago I would have asked for power over time. I would have tried to change my own past to something I would've peferred. But no, at the moment, I desire nothing. I live, and that is good enough for me."
They continued on in silence... each torch lighting up with a soft whoosh as they made their way deep into the mountain...

Garroth thought about Valroz, for now he had the perfect opportunity to be tactical as it was the duty of a Commander like himself to do so. Sure, he wasn't an Imperial but in terms of magic he could indeed be better than Imperial, if not in physical strength, magic was practically his co-pilot and closest comrade as it always was around him, ready to be put into use for whatever reason he needed it for. All Valroz had done was try to hunt him, but Garroth was always one stop ahead, If that creature thinks he'll get to torture or fight me how he wants me to, he'll be sadly mistaken, he wants me to fight him, and all he's done is thrown me around in the mud. Well I think it's my turn to throw mud in his face. I don't tend to give him satisfaction, I'm going to give him pain. Still, he didn't need to come out. If Valroz was to grow impatient, it was all the more better for him. He flew about in the mist and then landed, he was searching for the Purple Dragons. Still he was not having much luck at the moment. At least he had plenty of time...
