Alec nodded glancing around. He found nothing. "Ill go get that cabinet, and maybe we'll have to use a desk or something..."

Jose nodded, and brought the bed over to the window, then lifted it onto one end, and put it up against the window, making sure to put it there at a slight angle so as to make it more difficult to push down. he then headed towards the room with the file cabinet. it had a moderately sized metal desk; the same one he got the glock ammo from. he thought that if he could get it from the office to the room, they'd probably have their barricade more or less set. what he did wish he could get was a carpet or something to put under it, to make the barricade less vulnerable to sliding along the floor if enough pressure was put against it...

Alec followed Jose, seeing the green cabinet and the silver desk. "Speak of the devil" Alec said. He thorouhly believed god was looking out for the survivors that night..

"you didn't really think a guy would have an office with a file cabinet without a desk, did ya holmes?" asked Jose with a chuckle as he moved for the file cabinet, planning to move it first before he moved the desk...

Charles had already shut out the noise the two were making, instead began dozing lightly in the chair, hand still clenching the handgun tightly...

"No" Alec said, walking to the cabinet as well. "I mean, green cabinet and silver desk...? Did the person who worked here have no sense of decoration?"

"I guess whoever decorated had poor taste in colours, eh?" said Jose as he grabbed ahold of the lower end of the cabinet...

"Hey. My cousin was colour blind. her taste was better than most internal decorators'" said Jose with mock insult. "Ok, on three, we lift. One, Two, Three" he said, heaving the cabinet up from his side. the amount of paper and files in it made it almost too heavy to lift. no normal man would be able to lift it alone...

Alec also lifted. In a few minutes, Alec and Jose had braced the cabinet correctly against the bed, Alec looking at the barricade scrutinizingly for a few seconds before saying "Looks good"

"Think that'll do it or should we bring in the desk?" asked Jose as he loosened up, the lift having been a refreshing bit of exercise on muscles that had become used to swinging a sledge hammer or axe...

Jose nodded, and then headed back to the office. although the desk was almost certainly lighter than the large file cabinet, he still wanted to try and move it with Alec's help, deciding the less noise they made while setting up the barricade, the less risk there was of being heard by a potential threat...

Alec followed, and in less time than the cabinet, the survivors set up the desk so that it served as a brace for the cabinet, so that even if the cabinet fell over during a zombie attack, it would fall onto the desk and still brace the bed to the hole in the wall, and to push it back would make noise, waking up the survivors to make a hasty retreat

Alec had went downstairs, waking up Charles and pointing him to the rooms upstairs

meanwhile, Jose had dragged an extra bed into the room and laid down in it, 2 other beds in the room, which had originally been equipped to serve 3, the original third bed now propped up against a window. he was kinda annoyed that irritable one with the bad aim had done nothing to help them blockade, but then, who knows, perhaps the guy had had less sleep than Jose had had in recent days. which reminded him. he'd need to get the names of the odd duo in the morning...

"Ya..wha...? No, sure..." Charles mumbled, jumping up, almost losing grip on the gun. Finally realizing what Alec meant, he followed to the beds, flopping down on an empty bed, quickly falling back to sleep.

Alec walked back up the stairs, walking into the room and staking his claim on the bed near the cabinet, taking off his book bag and resting it near the bed. Alec then laid down, too tired to take off his sneakers

Taban stared out the window. It was no use. He was probably alone there. Manhattan probably had barely any survivors. What was the point? The survivors were probably somewhere else, somewhere with less zombies. He had to move. But, alas, he had the same thoughts very recently. He would probably die there. Die, and get infected, and just spread the disease. Spread it until every human was a mutated monster. Just thinking about it made him outraged.
"DAMN IT! GO TO HELL YOU MOTHER******* B*******!" He shouted. His voice lingered a bit, traveling however far it went. He could care less if it made them come out. It'd just be one day sooner.

As it continued it's hunt for food, the Gorilla zombie heard a loud sound from a human(Taban). Seeing another chance at getting a human as a meal, the beast began to head in the direction the sound had come from, walking at a slightly slower pace to reduce the amount of noise it made while moving...

Taban sat on the couch. He was tired, and he didn't feel like doing anything that day. So, he decided to get some rest, he layed his head down and rested.
