Transformers E-war: Army of Metal

The structures lining the fenced area were reinforced, the attack doing little in terms of damage, forcing the robotic being into a choke point, with large trees lining the off-road-like path that led to the checkpoint. On one of the higher platforms, a team of stinger missile users fired at the scorpion, the rockets exploding near it, sending it crashing into a tree...

Struggling to his feet, Scorponok fired a much larger barrage of rockets, aimed primarily at where the Stinger missiles originated, and then burrowed back underground to find a better vantage point.

"Should we do something?!" Sidewinder asked, staring at where the sounds of explosions were coming from. "Or do we carry on with the mission?!" He asked Burnout..

The missile users ducked down, the rockets colliding with the structure itself, blowing off chunks of concrete, revealing the steel underneath. The armed soldiers remained ready once more, scanning the ground for any signs of the cybertronian, a thin layer layer of steel underneath the checkpoint, which was a common addition to modern military bases...

"We can't let the Decepticons follow us." Burnout growled, sliding to a stop before roaring back toward the checkpoint...

Sidewinder sped foward before suddenly braking while he turned, the silver pick up spinning about towards the check point aswell, reverting to robot mode as he went, sliding across the ground, sparks jumping off of his body as he got to his feet and drew his cannons...

Scorponok emerged on the other side of the base, partially hidden by trees. Zooming in on the nearest human-occupied structure, he fired two shots from his pulse cannons at the unsuspecting humans, the weapon more capable of penetrating the structure's armor than the rockets. Once again, Scorponok went under ground, more than happy to harass the little meatbags cowering in their shell...

Burnout transformed, seeing the tail of the burrowing cybertronian, arm raised as a rocket zipped out of his palm, exploding violently against the ground, tearing at the end of the Decepticon's tail, almost causing it to break apart completely. Landing in a roll, Burnout stood up, arm still raised, scanning the area for the Decepticon's resurface. The humans took evasive maneuvers, trying to provide assistance for the AutoBots as best as they could, not exactly having the supplies to fight such enemies...

Sidewinder messaged Burnout "Ill gaurd the front and left, you guard the rear right, we move in a clock wise motion to set up a perimeter, sounds like a plan?"

"The trees are surrounding the base, we can't circle, just keep your optics clear." Burnout responded suddenly, weapons still ready. "Just get to the front and make sure it doesn't get another shot." he continued, staying by the rear of the compound..

Angrily, Scorponok launched from the ground in an explosion of dirt, momentarily blinding Sidewinder as the Decepticon slammed into Burnout's back, drilling savagely into the armor and simultaneously stabbing the Autobot in the back of the head with his partially intact stinger.

Sidewinder spun about, turning to Burnout, glimpsing the scorpian like robot on his back. Visor locking onto the scout, Sidewinder fired a precise shot into it's body, blowing it off of Burnout, it sprawling on the docks, underside pointed to the sky..

Burnout swung around without pause, shoulder plasma caster aimed down at the Decepticon, firing the blast of plasma, which collided violently with the scorpion's underside, causing it to slide across the docks before falling into the bay itself...

For a second, Sidewinder was silent, arm still held up in the position that it was in when an arm cannon went off. Finally, breaking the quiet, he said "Great! I didnt shoot you in the shoulder or anything!"

After a short moment, a barrage of rockets erupted from the water and slammed into the Autobot pair, while Scorponok struggled across the bottom of the bay, burrowing into the side of the coast and going back underground...

"Scorponok has made contact with the Autobots, but he can't distract them for much longer," said Arachno.

Burnout used his forearm to block the explosives raining down, his armor scorched from the brief fight. "It should be unfit to fight...I believe its safe to continue on." he responded to Sidewinder, transforming back into the cruiser with a plethora of grinding mechanical sounds...

Jetlag snarled quietly, frustrated, flying over a stretch of land that blocked them from the docks, leaving the roads behind...

Arachno transformed, not bothering to hide his appearance any longer, the Decepticon charging toward the docks behind Jetlag. Scorponok, meanwhile, stayed underground, not going to try and attack again for now...

Sidewinder began walking to the ship once more, his pannels rearranging as he went before he jumped foward, clicks and ratcheting gears sounding off before the robot was in the form of the silver pick up, driving up to the docks and up the ramp that was lowered off the starboard side of the US war ship, parking on the deck..

Burnout boarded the destroyer via a ramp, driving up to the deck before stopping, staying in the specified area so he would not get in the way of the humans...

Jetlag soared overhead, the dock coming into view from behind the trees, circling around as he headed toward the destroyer...

Arachno charged towards the docks, ignoring the military checkpoint as he did. Raising his arm, Arachno prepared his pulse cannon, ready to fire at a moment's notice...

"Aw man" Sidewinder messaged Burnout. "That damned helicopter is back..." The Cybertronian signal from the chopper was now embedded in his memory..
