James chuckled. "As is to be expected" he said, before looking at the bartender and saying "Mate, would you care to sell me a few barrels of Rum? i need a few for the crew". "Sure ma'e. 'ow many dya wan'?". "I'd say roughly 400 if you have them" responded James. "Sure. i've got plenty more than enough to give you 'em. that is, IF you're willin' ta pay 1600 gold for it though". James stared at him, dumbfounded. "That's outright theft!" he said. "Pirates, mate. even the Tavern Keeper's one at heart" said the man with a smirk. James smirked as he said "Well...what exacty is stopping me from breaking in, stealing those 400 and leavin' the rest to you, free of charge?". "The number of angry pirates on Tortuga that'll want yer 'ead on a platter if ya did" responded the Bartender. "and if i were to say, pull the trigger on this pistol and blow yer heart outta yer back, take the keys and take what i like, then tell everyone on Tortuga the Rum's free of charge and that they could help themselves to as much as they liked?" said James with a sly smirk. "Err...ya go' me there, sir...what say we make it....1200?" said the man with a nervous laugh. "Make it 400 and we have an accord. any higher and you'll have a new hole to fill with rum and other forms of sustainance". "Bu' then i'm gonna lose more than i spent to ge' em!" responded the man. "Take it or leave it, mate. you're the one who said you had plenty more. push the prices up a bit and you'll regain your losses" said James sternly. "Alrigh' alrigh'!" responded the man. James looked at Nathan, telling him to go get the crew. he then said "Show me the Rum, mate". the man sighed, nodding, leading him into the back while giving the barmaid the job of watching the counter. James began to follow, beckoning Adeline to follow...
