"Oh Lord!" Nyx groaned. "Alright, let's try this again," she said and grabbed his wings on either side and folded them back in. "How long were you two goin to keep this from us?" she asked.

Lets hope no bounty hunters show up. Ray said as he looked around at the scenery.

Thankfully the pain of Dreigs wings coming out snapped him back into reality. As... long as we could. His wings folded back into his skin as he dropped to his knees.

"Hm, well, that wasn't very long," Nyx said and helped Dreig to his feet once again. "And I honestly have to say, you should never drink 20 glasses of beer again!" she growled and squeezed his hand harder than necessary.

Diana sighed as they walked down the sidewalk. "It's a big city, they could be anywhere!" Thanatos moaned. "Stop complaining, I'm the trail," Diana said and kept sniffing around. Suddenly she wanted to be funny, so she turned into her wolf form, tail wagging and nose to the ground. "Oh very funny Di," Thanatos said, though she could hear the smile in his voice.

Dreig pushed her away as he got up and walked off in a staggering zig-zag pattern out in the street.

Seriously Dianna is there any descent sign of him? Ray said still looking around.

Nyx sighed and followed behind him, shaking her head.

Diana barked and started racing in the direction of Dreig's scent. Soon Nyx's scent started to mingle with his, but her's was fresher. She turned the corner and saw Dreig weaving drunkingly on the sidewalk and Nyx following after with the same expression she saw a few hours ago.

Ray nodded and groaned in an upset tone, Dreig... why do you do this to yourself?, he said as eh walked up to him and grabbed him by the shoulders. Jack's dead, he's dead, Dreig moaned mumbled as though it was new information to him. Dreig look at me, Ray said. Get over it we cant have you like this. the younger Dhampirs eyes filled with tears, Who's we?, you never cared about us you always left us to go on your stupid trips, you dont give a damn about anything. Suddenly Dreig ran to the side holding his hand over his mouth as he vomitted in a trashcan.

Nyx whimpered as she put her head in her hands. Diana whimpered as well before she turned back into her human self. "Being a wolf is hard, you always want to show your emotions," she said. Thanatos shook his head. "He needs to get some sleep maybe a good soak in a warm bath as well," he said.

[Zephyr]

Ray sighed looking down at the ground, We need some questions answered Dreig. Ray said calmly. Screw you and your questions, Dreig countered his voice echoeing in the metal trashbin. Dreig, if we're going to get Jack's killers we need to know.

Nyx snorted and slapped her hand on her mouth. "Sorry that one had a mind of it's own," she said. Thanatos shook his head, scratching his head. Diana pressed her lips together to hide a smile and also shook her head. Nyx sighed then squat down next to the trashcan. "Look Dreig, I know you're upset about Jack, how do you think I feel, I don't solve it by drinking down 20 beers and pretending that getting drunk is going to help," she said.

You barely knew him, he was the nicest person around, half the time he was a pacifist. If anyone deserved to die its me, he had every right to live and hes the one who dies. Dreig dropped too his knees and banged his head on the side of the trashcan with tears rolling down his cheeks.

"We can worry about that when we get back. for now let's just worry about getting that far without anymore 'mishaps'. okay?" said Drake, his arms crossed...

"Really, like I didn't know that in the few hours I spent with him," Nyx said sarcastically. "And he told me about you, about why you were so protective." Nyx looked at and she tried to meet his gaze. "About how you thought that you owed him for all the times he saved your butt!" she snapped. "You owed him nothing, you were his friend that's all he would ever want."

Dreig dont do this to yourself, Ray reached his hand out to help him up. Dreig took his hand and stood, and that instant was immediately backhanded across the cheek, Reality hurts doesnt it, Ray said with a mock laugh.

[Shade]

Nyx laughed at first, but could only think about what Dreig was hiding on the inside. She certainly felt that slap. Diana's eyes squinted as she saw Nyx flinch as Ray slapped Dreig. "Let's get out of here, before something bad finds us again," Thanatos said.

[Zephyr]

Dreig grinned slightly, he knew Ray was just goofing. Yeah it does, he stood back up still a little shaky but managed to at least walk. Like she said lets get out of here.

Nyx smiled and stood up to. Diana started walking back to the mansion with Thanatos on her heels. "Need to lean on someone," Nyx asked walking next to Dreig.

Drake smirked at the antics as he eyed the group, saying "After we get there we can sort out this whole mess". he flinched slightly at the slap that Ray had given Dreig, but otherwise didn't react. he hadn't really had time to warm up to them too much. but he had heard enough to make him vow to help them avenge their friend...

That would be nice, Dreig said as his head drooped to the side slightly. I'm just worried ill throw up again.

Ray grinned as he shook his head.

Nyx smiled and offered her shoulder. "Aww, you know I'm really sensing a connection between you two," Diana said putting her arms around both their necks. "WHAT?!" Nyx said outraged.

Dreig simply turned and flicked Dianna in the ear, Im noxious, you want to be the target when i have to upchuck?

Ray couldnt hold back a laugh at Dreig comment, Better back off Dianna i think he's serious.
