The man lead James and Adeline into the Rum celler, pointing at the thousands of barrels of rum lined up. soon, Nathan turned up with 5 deck hands, Nathan personally starting to check them, making sure they were safe. after all 400 barrels he wanted were safely aboard the Reaper, which was still being repaired, James handed the man a bag with 600 gold in it. "Thanks for the hospitality, mate" said James as he left, the man surprised to have been given 200 gold more than originally offered...

Adeline raised her eyebrow when she saw a look of surprise on the man's face when James gave him the gold. After they left the man, she inquired, "What did you do to make him surprised? How much was exactly in that bag of gold that you gave him?"

"200 gold more than i originally told him i'd buy it for" said James with a smirk. he wasn't a bad man...just a bit more careful about business deals. "On most islands, you can get a barrel for one gold piece. he was charging me 4 for a barrel. the 200 extra were just a gift of gratitude. he could get 600 barrels out of that little bag of money i gave him" he added as he walked...

Adeline smiled. "Aw that's very generous of you James," she said to him. She held his hand and walked out of the tavern with him. "The men are going to be very happy with those barrels of rum." She thought about the look of glee that would be on the men's faces when they saw the barrels and chuckled before adding, "You must be very happy about it too."

"I am, but not nearly as happy as i am having you here" said James with a grin as he headed for the local Inn. "We'll need at the very least a couple of days while the repairs are done on the Reaper. may as well get ourselves a decent place to sleep" he said. the one good thing he could count on was that no enemies could arrive here in time if they were on any of the islands nearby. the nearest hospitable island was Turks, which was also Pirate contolled. in the opposite direction, roughly 5 or 6 days away, was the British colony of Port Royale. no enemy there would have time to prepare and get across that 5 day stretch before the Reaper and Dauntless were long gone...

"Aw you're so sweet James." Adeline gave him a kiss on the cheek and agreed with him about staying in an inn. "It's a nice change to sleep on land for once, no rocking of the ship and no storms to wake us," she mused.

"You wanted to move and and find the guys but what if that entire armada is still together. In other cases your orders are to stay here, straight from England. You'll get destroyed! if you try to them all by yourself" The English Officer shouted.

"No..we've waited too long. We've packed up, were armed and we intend on actually staying out at sea. The problem is, we've been told to stay here and Im tired of waiting. We are going to fight somehow some way" John responded as he began to slowly board the Guardian.

"Orders are orders" The officer stated as he stopped looking up at the admrial. The men around just watched.

"So what do you want me to do? wait a few days? then weeks..then months and then maybe a bloody year? We move now" John replied as he continued on walking towards the massive warship.

"You'll get yourself hanged!" But the comment go unresponded. The Admiral was going to leave in a few in a matter of moments, head out to see and check the peremiter, find out why the massive Aramda of English Ships fled and see if he could who was responsible. John walked up to the helm as he stared out into sea..

"But the screaming of Drunken men and the hazy seedy atmosphere of the Inn will probably take it's place" said James with a sigh. he walked in, spotting a long bearded overweight man sitting in a chair at the counter, glugging rum like mad from an abnormally large rum mug. "Wo' can I 'elp ya with, ma'e?!" said the man a bit too loudly. "A room for two for 3 days, mate" said James. "Oh, 'ere to get yer wenchin' on, eh?" mumbled the drunken man vulgarly. James sighed irritably as he drew his pistol, a click coming from it's trigger as he had it ready to fire. "Mate, keep that tongue in your mouth or i'll blow it out the back of yer head. just set us up a room for three days, will you?". "Alrigh' alrigh'! Neptune's Beard, yer a 'ot tempered one!" said the man as he picked out a room to accomodate two. "15 gold fer three days" said the man finally, James nodding, taking the key and heading up a flight of stairs mumbling something about how some Pirates could be an embarrassment to the whole Pirate faction...

Adeline got angry quickly and aimed her own pistol at the drunken man. She closed her eyes and breathed in and out heavily, calming herself down. Finally, she put her pistol back when James did and walked up the stairs toward their room. "Stupid drunken man," she mumbled and shook her head.

James found the room easily, and unlocked the door, opening it up and holding the door open. "After you" he said with a mock bow, smirking...

Adeline rolled her eyes playfully. "You're such a gentleman," she said before entering the room and looking around. It was a decent place, fit for a pirate. "It looks pretty comfy here."

James chuckled. "It's no palace, but it'll do" he said as he walked in. the sun was on it's way down, and Nathan had been assigned to guard the room from a distance while Raphael made sure the ship was safe, with 4 crew members. "What say we head to bed?" said James with a yawn after pouring himself some water from a jug nearby, checking it before downing the glass completely...

Adeline stretched and took off her boots before heading toward the bed. "I think you're right. It's been a very long day...I just hope that man doesn't come barging in here." She glared at the door before finally getting in the bed. "Honestly, I wanted to shoot him for saying that."

"Well if he does randomly stumble in here, blow his head off. that is, TRY and blow his head off...chances are i'll've already done it" said James with a chuckle as he got rid of his own boots, laying his effects at the side of the bed, propped up between the edge of the bed and the bedside table, taking off his vest before lying down, getting under the covers and stretching...

Adeline smirked before snuggling under the covers and sighing against the warm fluffy pillow. "No, I would like to do it," she replied sleepily. "It took a lot to calm me down...chances are if he says that again, I will not hesitate blowing his head off." She closed her eyes and smiled. "Ah, nice and comfy."

"Alright" said James with a chuckle as he twisted in the bed, facing Adeline. "Very comfy" he said with a smile as he closed his eyes, surrendering himself to sleep...

Two days later, repairs had been completed on the Reaper, and she was now waiting for the order to have her taken back into the harbour. "Thanks Morgan" said James as he paid the Shipwright for the repairs. "Pleasure's mine, mate" responded the shipwright gratefully as James headed for the door. "Er, Cap'n?" said the man suddenly. James turned around and said "Yes?". "We've got a few cannons ya migh' be interested in" said the man. "Oh?" said James as he turned to face the man. "How would...Triple Guns on the bow and stern sound to you?" said the man with a smirk. "Sounds like i'll end up twice as bad as Davy Jones was" said James with a chuckle. "How much and how long before you can have them installed?" asked James. "Oh...i'd say 'bout 3 hours. the hull's really sturdily designed in the first place. i could 'ave a cannon installed jus' 'bout anywhere on the 'ull without much of a threa' tew the ship's structure" said the man. "Do it then. just make sure it's properly rigged and doesn't interfere with the other guns when fired" said James, the man nodding and giving the order to the workers to get back to work. James walked out and said "Now that's a handy development. 44 guns and 24 light caliber swivvel guns on the deck...that'll be handy against anyone who decides to attack us"...

"Yeah, we can put fear in those who try to cross our path," said Adeline proudly. "I can't wait until we hit Isla Muelle. I want to see the ships there." She looked up at the sky thoughtfully and rubbed her chin. "After Isla Muelle, then what?"

"I'm thinking of entering privateering. we can't stick to the pirate life exclusively. not while you have a child with you. when he or she's grown up enough to be able to be taught how to handle a blade, we'll return to our typical way of life" said James as he put an arm around Adeine. "Imagine what kind of cash we could get for trading Chocolate powder...the royals will love it. they'd pay a fortune for it" he added thoughtfully...

Adeline thought about it and shrugged. "Hm yeah, the stuff is good...the french and the british would probably go crazy for it." She thought about the money it could bring in and smiled slightly. "Plus, the crew will be happy about the money coming in."

"I plan to use that to pursuade some of the more bloodthirsty ones to hang around" said James. "I think the Dutch, Brits and French would like a good supply of Chocolate milk around. the governors specifically. i intend to also use offers to eliminate certain threats to them to get me the time i need to offer it. going right up to them would get me thrown out as some sleezy trader" he added, arms crossed thoughtfully...
