As it continued heading in the Direction that the human sound had come from, the Gorilla zombie was now picking up the scent of Taban. The creature followed the scent, intending to be cautious in case this human had a weapon just like the previous human it had chased...

Taban didn't close his eyes, but he felt like he would soon. But, he knew he should probably wake up more. That's why he had a Rockstar in the refrigerator, just in case...

After following the scent for 6 more minutes, the gorilla zombie could now spot the building that the scent seemed to be coming from. Moving as quietly as possible, the creature made it's way to the front of the building, hoping to find an enterance large enough for it to get through. To it's dissapointment, it saw that the opening was to narrow. The zombie then stopped and listened for a momment to try and hear any sounds the human inside might be making. It didn't hear any sounds, which could only mean the human must either be asleep or it was staying quiet to be safe. The hungry beast then moved as close to the building as possible, making sure to stay away from the door to ensure that it would have a chance of taking the human by suprise if it emerged...

Taban decided to go to sleep. He rolled up his eyes, and began to dream. He had learned to become a light sleeper, so there were many things that could wake him up...

Vergil woke up the next morning, his head still rested on his diary, the last page of his real life serving as a pillow. "...the Apocalypse has begun" was written at the end of the page. "Like hell the Apocalypse has begun. this is just another bloody chapter in our already bloodstained history" mumbled Vergil, amused with his own foolishness at the time. making sure his gun was cocked and armed, he began opening one of the few bottles of water he had, needing a drink, if only to wake him up...

Alec began mumbling something in his sleep, something indistinguishable. He had turned to the left, however, he was already close to the edge of the bed and fell off, landing with a thud and muffled cursing.

Charles jump up, almost pressing the trigger of the gun in his hand, missing the trigger itself, thankfully. Looking around, he saw Alec on the floor, groaning somewhat angrily at the violent awakening, laying back onto the bed...

"Sunnavabitch" Alec grunted as he got up, stretching his back. He flopped back onto the bed. He didnt want to wake up, He wanted to sleep forever, with the same quality as last night, no fear, some sort of security, but no matter how much he tried, even in imagination, that was an impossibillity

the thump had instantly woken Jose, who had turned his gun in the direction of the noise, staring at the source. realising it was Alec, he sighed and holstered his weapon on the shoulder holster he had. thinking it was a bit too slow of a reaction time, he thought it might be a good idea to find a leg holster some time. it was almost guaranteed there would be one in the building. most people searching wouldn't have cared, wanting only the weapon, whereas he, having at one time been a gang-banger, learned that the best way to keep from losing your gun was to have it in a holster. he found himself laying exactly how he had slept. as a kid his mother used to tell him he slept like the dead. wouldn't move an inch....he wondered how that related to the dead he saw in the streets....they didn't sleep at all...they only hunted....and fed off the living...or, as he'd noticed with a few of them, eachother...

Vergil was now taking a bite out of the last peach in the can he had opened. he made sure to savour the flavour of anything he ate these days, never knowing if it'd be his last meal or not. one thing he knew though, was that if he was going down, he'd make sure he'd take some of those monsters with him, then take himself out, so they couldn't have the satisfaction of turning him into one of them...

"Watch...where you are pointing that thing...unless you want to take off...someone's head..." mumbled Charles, who's head was still pressed hard against the pillow, having seen the newcomer's actions through the corner of his eye, too tired to recognize the irony in his statement.

"Wake uuup" Alec said, shaking Charles. "We need to figure out what we're gonna do next. My escape plan ends here, time to make a survival plan"

"Well...once you come up with it, let me know." Charles growled, lashing out with a hand in an attempt to push Alec away. Regardless of his actions, he sat up, his face showing his dislike of the situation. He felt as if he could sleep the rest of his life away...it had been too long since he last slept in an actual bed...

Alec pulled a rubber band from his pockets, putting his thumb and index finger through it and stretching it apart, pulling the rest of the slack back with his other index finger and then releasing, the rubber band flying into Charle's head. "First thing's first, inventory check"

Jose sat up, looking at Alec, sitting cross legged on his bed. he felt stiff and had aches in a few places from the times where he slept over a part of his body where he had a weapon attached...still better to sacrifice comfort for a short preparation time...he could literally get up and go if he needed to. "Well, i have a couple of cans of sausages, one can of gravy thanks to you, a couple of bottles of water and the rest is weapons. a sledge hammer, my glock, and a light one handed axe" said Jose...

"I have some rubbing alcohol, this gun, the air freshener can...and some rubber bands." Charles said, suddenly raising one of the bands, which he quickly shot, snapping the object on Alec's shoulder. "Payback is a b*tch." he stated simply, smirking.

"Hurts like one too" Alec said, rubbing his arm. "I got some canned fruit and vegetables as wells as a can of pre made sloppy joe, and some soups. Great, now that we know that, what are we doing today? Staying hear or moving on?"

Taban woke up. He hadn't been asleep that long. He could never get good sleep anymore. The last full, normal time he slept was at the military outpost.

"There's bound to have been at least a few Zombies that have sniffed us out overnight. i ain't too sure of how secure this place is. i know at least 3 different kinds of Zombies that could break in if they decide it's worth the effort. i'd trade comfort for security any day....but who knows if there's anywhere safer than here now?" said Jose as he cradled his Glock in his hands...

"I say we stay here. There is enough supplies to make a semi-effective barricade...at least here we have a place to sleep, hopefully some nearby food and other supplies...if we go out there, we could be eaten alive before we reach another place like this." Charles explained, now somewhat awake. It was true, what he said...going out there and expecting to find a building as secure as this was a long shot he didn't really want to take...

"A bank vault?" Alec said jokingly, but somewhere in his mind wished that was a viable option, a vault with one entrance and a lock..
