"Apart from stories told by travellers and a highly detailed painting of a Star Destroyer, no" said Serephir bluntly, his fingers intertwined; a concentration habit he had...

Thara raised his head, finally hearing something he could relate to. He growled enthusiasticly "I know them! Ages back, Maricans got into a war with them. Was all over the news. Huge battle over some jungle planet over casius way. Me and a few freinds were out there on a salvage op a few weeks after it. I am never gona forget that day, we had to f***ing crash land onto what was left of the moon after some imperial ship got plugged by an ambusher"

Grievous crossed his arms. "The Empire is much bigger than what you know, Thara. They control the vast majority of this galaxy. They used to control this planet, as well as the other ones that are now under my command. They couldn't handle the rebellion I started, however, so they decided to sabotage a shuttle I was in with my family." He paused for a moment, eyes darkening, then continued. "I was the only one to survive, and even then, I needed this," he motioned to himself, "robotic body to live. I've been at war with them ever since. That's why the security is so tight around here. I only have three planets, one of which the Empire doesn't know about, and the other two barely repelled an assault by Imperial forces. I've upgraded my troops since then, but I may need some help, that from you, General Serephir."

Serephir thought for a moment, thinking about what Grievous had just said. finally, he nodded. "It seems your situation is difficult. I will try my best to pursuade the King to help you. however, personally, i am on the start of a planned 2 year voyage to explore the galaxy and find alliances in as many different factions as possible, to ensure that, should a threat arouse of greater power than Vardia itself, we can request help from those connections in order to put a swift end to it. our forces are large, but not unlimited. I will attempt to supply you with a decent source of protection, if not permanently, than for a good amount of time until i can fully retake my post. for the moment however, while our ship is repaired, enhanced and upgraded, and perhaps for a while following, i could remain here as a supporting force. I can have a decent platoon of a thousand men brought here from Vardia under short notice. above that however, i probably won't be able to fully make use of my access until i am done with my journey. seeing as many of my crew are following for the travels and exploration alone, i'm afraid i personally can't cheat them of their deals with me. I will help if i can, however, that may be somewhat limited" he said finally...

Grievous tapped the grille that used to be where is mouth was thoughtfully. "Considering they haven't attacked in a long time, I can live with that, at least for now." The service rolled up again, many arms sticking out of it chunky body holding various trays. Most of the trays held "the most popular dish:" slabs of exotic steak. The ones for the twins held thin slices of meat arranged in a circle around the tray, with a light-colored sauce in the middle. The droid placed each tray at its respective customer and wheeled away. "Please, eat," said Grievous. "Don't be shy about the lack of utensils. You are dealing with primarily Trandoshans, after all." Arqueek, however, had already dug into his meal, licking his lips greedily. "Can do!"

Akiba drank his water absently, glancing around uneasily. He took little notice at the slabs of meat, not exactly hungry, the sight of the massive meat strengthening that fact...

Serephir chuckled. "I don't know about everyone else here" he started as he removed his gloves and rolled up his sleeves. "...but where i come from on Vardia, there's a saying. "The best way to eat food is by hand". Don't know how much truth there is to that, but it hasn't failed me yet" he finished as he flicked a thin black rod from his right wrist, a wide blue beam covering the steak. he moved it from left to right. seeing that nothing on the steak was a different colour, he started, with an expertise that could be called 'civilised non-utensil eating'. unlike most people's ideas of eating with one's hands, Serephir didn't dive into the food with both hands ripping his food apart like some kind of wild animal. instead, it was slow eating, and clean, only his right hand's fingers and palm ever touching the food. the rod he had just used was a toxin scanner. on Vardian branches and places where Vardian lifestyle was practiced, he'd use it to make sure an assassination wasn't attempted via food or drink. here however, it was used to make sure none of the ingredients were naturally harmful to him. Meanwhile, the Twins were diving into their food like it was the first meal they'd had in weeks, and, though at first somewhat surprised, the other VAMCEB soldiers quickly followed suit. they were used to utensils in civilization, but their training didn't go without benefit. Serephir, though seemingly distracted by his meal, was watching the others with amusement. ESPECIALLY Blaze. he looked like he had lost one of the most important things in the world to him. he chuckled at the thought. Serephir was the greatest person in existence from his point of view. this must've been the equivelant of the King rolling in the mud from his point of view. "Eat up, Blaze. or are you feeling shy? poor little kid can't take the strain of such a big change?" said Xander tauntingly. Blaze scowled at him before looking at his meal, finally shrugging and diving in like the rest of the group. "So the kid has guts afterall!" said Xander tauntingly, before being nudged in the ribs by Serephir, Xander nearly choking as a result, Serephir having aimed the hit perfectly to induce such a result. "What's wrong Xander? bitten off more than you can chew?" mocked Alex, before Serephir looked at him, finally silencing him, the group continuing to eat as civilised as possible, though Serephir didn't seem bothered...

Arqueek leaned back, having finished his meal surprisingly quickly. Letting out a half-belch, he rubbed his stomach ruefully, groaning, "Maybe I ate a little TOO fast..."

Thara had been watching a droid outside for a short while... It was a battered looking service drone, sitting silently next to one of the trandoshans, only moving when he moved. Well Thara only assumed it was a he, it could easily have been a she for all he knew. Hell it mighten by either....

What interested him though, was how irregular the droid was. There were several others like it, just they all moved and acted in the same way. This one seemed to be on high alert, constantly looking around and moving this way and that, often earning bangs on the head from its owner...

OOM-6, who was standing next to the table like a sentry, leaned over to Grievous, pulling the marble-like object out of his pouch and handing it to the General. "Sir," he said, "this object fell out of one of the VAMCEB soldiers hands." As Grievous turned the thing over in his clawed hand, OOM-6 continued. "Also their General, judging by how he lifted our rifles into the air and crushed them, may be a... Jedi, and not even know it." Grievous' yellow gaze flicked to Serephir in surprise, but he said nothing. Instead, he said, "General, is this yours?" He lifted his open hand, showing the object in his metal palm.

The Devourer continued its slow dragging drift through space, the titanic behemoth of a ship, roughly half the size of a planet such as Earth. Following the call of its Tyranid children it continued on gliding ever so slowly to the imperial sector unaware of other ships as it's one track mind focused on the scouring of another planet.

The tyranids peeked out from their tunnels and caves eyeing the imperial fortress preparing to lash out the moment they get a chance. Eviscerator was farther back in teh tunnels, he was a veteran at this and was sure something would happen that would hinder them.

Serephir looked at the object Grievous showed him, and shook his head. "Not mine. Xander, Alex, Blaze. that yours?". the three shook their heads. "Oh! that's mine! i've been looking for that everywhere!" said Jarad as he reached forward with a somewhat messy hand, stopping when he took the prospect of messing up the Cyborg General's claws. their appearance made the thought of actually touching them somewhat intimidating. "That was an old souvenir from one of the planets i went to on my previous voyage. i've been looking at it alot lately. i thought i lost it"...

Revan narrowed his sense. There was a disturbance in the force...something that would trouble them greatly. Was this the enemy Tyranids that were to come in..The Dark Lord of the Sith watched as large groups of TIE Bombers appeared, nuking tunnels, caves and cracks in the ground. More gunships were being established at secure locations, first patrolling the area to make sure it was clear. Once the army was deployed into the several locations..the ARC Troopers and the Dark Troopers would enter the fortress and rescue the survivors.

All over the planet, large groups of TIE Bombers bombed the world..General Veers just needed the order to deploy and soon..thousands of Imperial Soldiers would find themselves into the hell. This massive invasion would decide alot of things. They intended on re-taking their planet.

The massive size of the 501st Armada which has been a true symbol of the best in the Imperial Navy. Led by the Executor Class Star Dreadnought, Annihilator. The 30 mile long flagship along with its state of the art weapons, defenses and the best crew in the Empire and with a massive Armada as a giant escort with the signature, mile long amd powerful Imperial Star Destroyers..Fleet Dominace was established. The Tyranids would come as usual as reinforcements..whatever they were planning..It would be a war in Space and the Ground.

The tunnels systems explodes from the bombing runs of the TIE's. Tyranids scurried throughout taveling through ever path and even making new tunnels to escape. Eviscerator did not fear the explosions as he he went to the mouth of the tunnel a bomb exploding only yards away. He hissed ferociously as he stared at the fortress, watching, waiting.

"Sir, it would be easier to just retrieve the information in the Fortress alone and pull out the survivors and then intitate a full Base Delta Zero" An officer stated as he looked at the Dark Lord of the Sith for a moment, before glancing back at the visual screens, showing signs of the surface being bombed. "I mean..there's nothing really left.." He added.

"This victory is also for morale..we cannot have officers on the surface, keep relying on the fleet to pick them and leave as we burn the planet again.." Another officer responded. The first officer was just trying to avoid losing soldiers..

Revan however finally said something as he glanced around at the visuals. "Have the probes and gunships secure assembly points..here..here..here..and here" Revan ordered. The officers glanced up, taking note on each sector.

The officers bowed and proceded to give their orders. Soon Probe droids were being dispatched..making sure the assembly points were clear and gunships then confirmed it. Lastly..the bombers finished their bombing runs and the invasion would begin.

The tyranids felt the bombing stop. They began regrouping to recover from the attack. They knew what was coming, and they thrilled for it.

"My Lord, probe droids and gunships confirm deployment poistions secureable and clear. We are ready for deployment" General Veers stated, his face appearing in one of the visuals in the bridge. He was ready. In the backround, Imperial equipment and weapons of war were ready.

"Juggernauts first..follow up with AT-ST and the tanks. Secondly..as the second wave, proceed with the AT-AT's and the Troopers. Secure positions first, place turrets and back up each poistions with Dark Troopers, Gunships and TIE Fighters..no mistakes, General Veers, proceed with Operation "Touch Down" " Revan ordered. Veers nodded and his visual disappeared..

Now oddly enough...8 Imperial Class Star Destroyers proceeded towards the surface. Two each to one of the deployment areas. Gunships and TIE Squadrons followed the Star Destroyers too the ground..the men inside were armed and ready for war. Instead of just sending men down in transports..entire Star Destroyers were being sent to the surface. This would be easier for men deployment and these massive one mile long areas of important interest made them large targets but they were heavily armed, filled with defenses, taking down one would prove to be truely difficult..

Meanwhile..the elite ARC Troopers were preparing for their rescure mission..

"Well then, here you go." Grievous placed the object on the table, leaving Jarad free to pick it up. He eyed Serephir curiously still, but said nothing. He'd say what he needed to after everyone was done eating...

it wasn't long before Serephir had finished eating, the others soon finishing their meals as well. Jarad and Jarmun were done ages before anyone else, due to the small portions of the meals. Serephir pressed a button on the side of the black rod, a green light coming forth. he removed the rod from it's place in his right wrist's armour, and began to move it over his right hand, which he had been eating with. immediately, all the remnants of the food was vapourised, reduced to particles. he moved the beam along his mouth from a distance, removing what little was left around his mouth. he aimed it at each of the crew's hands and faces in succession, before returning the rod to his right gauntlet's small container, the rod disappearing within, a smooth metallic cover sliding over it and sealing itself. he downed the initial drink that had come with the meal, before looking up from the table and at the Cyborg General. "Thank you for the meal, General" he said...
