Serephir, moved back, leaning on his knuckles and doing a handstand, kicking Grievous in the chin as he did it, stunning the General, landing on his feet with his swords at the ready. knowing how tough Grievous' armour would've been, he would barely have felt the hit...

Grievous hardly flinched, simply letting is head snap back, before looking right back at Serephir. He kicked out with one leg, his talon-like claws grabbing onto Serephir's own leg. He plucked the human from the ground as if he weighed nothing and spun on one foot, letting Serephir go and sending him flying.

bits of the wreckage making up the ball begun falling off... dropping away to the ground below, partially revealing the body of the machine at its centre... heavy tri clawed tenticles held onto the various peices of wreckage that the craft was using as shields in case of anti air craft fire. The stealth technology it employed having been damaged.

Serephir twisted himself, his legs facing the direction he was being hurtled in. he collided with the target in a crouch, standing on the slanted chest of the wrecked B3 Droid, which slid back several feet from the impact. he zipped forward, so fast his movement was a blur, his true position difficult to destinguish. as he shot past Grievous, he let the edge of his right blade leave a shallow slash in Grievous' armour, just below his right antenna, before skidding to a hault about 20 feet away, turning around, a cloud of dust in his wake from the loose ground of the dry arena. "You had enough amusement yet, General?" said Serephir, who hadn't even broken a sweat from the entire event...

Droids and Trandoshans looked overhead as the machine passed above them, but it moved to fast to let them catch barely a glimpse of it.

The construct continued watching the Koult for a moment, then said through his COM, "Security protocols enabled. Offensive and defensive systems online. Exchange proper counterresponse, Reclaimer."

Grievous scratched at the tiny cut on his vocabulator, and was about to respond, when OOM-6 called through the speakers, "General, there is an unidentified flying object heading toward this position."

A blueish swirl of energy ripped through the air and crashed into the fleeing tank, the vehicle explodeing into the air, being thrown through the sky before crashing through a building.

Joey panned his view screen across, targeting a gunship coming towards him from the distance, explosive bullets being blown before they hit up by his guardian systems. He aimed one of his ion cannons towards it, pulling gently on the triger of his cyclic stick. a blueish model of the gunship appeared in the ion screen above his main viewport. Without a blink of an eye, he clicked down on the launch button on the top of the stick, a white beam connecting connecting the weapon to his target, lasting less than a few miliseconds, the gunship explodeing instantly, its mangled flaming wreckage falling to the ground

The koultian, who had been dazed seriously by the death of the creature attacking him, manged to pull himself backwards, confused to no end about what was going on, his team mates voices ringing in his ears... He desperately activated his underslug gattleing gun, letting off rounds all over the tunnel, trying to hit the creature. He never wished he had a rifle more than he did now. The particular suit he was wearing was designed
for fighting hordes of weak enemies, hence the nature of his weapons...

Thara burst out "Theres a what heading towards us?!?" having heard the annoucnement

Serephir eyed the General somewhat conscerned. "Something wrong, General?" he said, sheathing his right blade in it's scabbard on his left, keeping a firm grip on the one in his left hand...

Blaze almost jumped out of his skin at Thara's outburst. "DUDE! chill out!" he said to Thara, as Xander walked over to OOM-6, saying "Is there any way to see it before it arrives?"...

The construct didn't move, and any bullets that hit it, simply bounced off a gold energy shield that snapped into existence around it. The drone said after a moment, "Non sequitur. Reclassification of target as non-Reclaimer. Native species. Collect for further analysis--else neutralize as possible infection vector." The drone's eye glowed an evil red once more, before a spear of lethal golden energy slammed into the Koult, obliterating him in an explosion of light.

As the Luminous Grace headed for the surface, a crimson-armored veteran Sangheili at one of the consoles heard a voice echo in his head. "Silence fills the empty grave, now that I am gone. But my mind is not at rest, for questions linger on. Now I will ask, and you will answer..."

OOM-6 turned to Thara. "Some sort of flying object, most likely a small meteorite." Turning to Xander, he added, "That console to your right accesses several cameras around the perimeter of the arena."

Grievous shook his head. "Likely just a meteorite. Nothing this planet can't handle."

Xander moved to the console, checking the various camera angles until he got a clear view of it. "What in god's name....is that?" he said, staring at the screen...

Serephir sheathed his other sword, turning to face the General. "So should we put an end to this little practice session?" he said, crossing his arms...

Grievous nodded, deactivating his Sabers. "Let's go see what OOM-6 found," he said, turning, picking up his cloak and other Sabers, then heading fro the Control Room, strapping his cloak back on as he did so.

OOM-6 stared at the screen blankly. "It appears to be a metal sphere, most likely a small craft of some kind..."

Thara didn't reply, instead stareing through the observation room, looking up into the sky above the rim of the stadium on the opposite side... he saw a small black speck in the distance... The voice crackled into his radio yet again "Peeeaaak a boooo... IIIIIII seeeee youuuuuu"

Suddenly, the remaining peices of wreckage ejected off from the craft, having no need for them at this stage... They puffed out like a starburst, revealing the machine beneath, its many blue eyes gleaming in the light... The drone's view zoomed out away from thara, sliding back miles away back to X1 magnification... He didnt want any weapons sneaking up on him... Not that that would be a problem... for he was Marbh, one of the two Majal Minds, or better known as the decievers... From within a heavily modified sentinal, borrowed from the Myro, he fled in an attempt to escape inevitible capture.

The myros many adjustments to the machine had allowed him to remain undetected in most walks of this space... For one, it was much larger than a normal sentinal and its head was slightly detached from the rest of the body, able to turn slightly. Another significant addition was the amount of weaponary he was outfitted with. On the 'wrists' of several of the tenticles, there was large cylinder like gauntlets which stored said weapons untill they were needed. Last but defintely not least, many of the Myro's anti radar and anti displacement sensors were included... though these were currently damaged...

Now he had what he needed to get around so many of the obsticles blocking him....

Serephir followed, entering the building. "Is that....a Sentinal?" said Xander, somewhat confused. he had seen pictures of them and knew they belonged to Maricans. but he wondered what it could be doing here. surely an invasion would've been detected immediately by the Trandoshan authorities and intercepted by the Fleet just outside the atmosphere...they didn't have it aboard...

"Sentinal?" asked OOM-6, confused, still staring at the screen. Grievous walked into the Control Room, immediately heading for the screen. "What's going on in here?"

The Luminous Grace floated thirty meters above the ground, a purple Gravity Beam Depositing Elch and a team of white-armored Ultras, armed with Carbines, Plasma Rifles, and even Fuel Rod Cannons. Elch was armed with his usual Needler, as well as an Energy Sword and a Carbine, just in case. The group, cautiously set out into the jungle, looking for any sign of help from the Koults.

Meanwhile, the drone in the caves, flew throughout the tunnels, eliminating Flood with mechanical precision, before it ran into another Koult soldier. "Another non-Reclaimer. Neutralize to prevent infection. The Flood must not spread." Its eye glowed red again, preparing to fire.

The soilders eyes widened, stareing at the drone... With practiced position, he flicked out a spear into his hand, swinging it agiley itno the drones side, attempt to bat it against the wall...

Suddenly a platoon of trackers stood up out of the jungle around the sanghelli soilders, the leader putting up his hand and shouting "Halten-sie!"

All had guns trained on the soilders....

Marbh glided down towards the stadium, two wings from his sides giving him stability while two blue thrusters attached to his back propelled him foreward... Suddenly he killed the engines, pulling up as he plumited towards the rim of the stadium, wings folding back out of sight, it grabbed hold of the stadium wall with 4 of its underside tenticles, its over side ones arcing over its head as it swayed from previous momentum, glacing around the dusty battle ground and into the observation room, blues eyes clicking around, scanning the area in every possible mode.

The spear hit one of the drone's booms, making it bob just as the machine fired. The spear of energy flashed past the Koult and exploded behind him. The drone, however, wasn't perturbed, and charged up another blast, this time backing out of melee range.

The Sangheili raised their weapons, but Elch stopped them by barking an order. He activated the universal translator integrated into his suit and said, "We need repairs to our ship. Where's the nearest city?"

Grievous looked out the Control Room viewport at the Sentinel. "What does that thing want?" he growled.

Serephir looked at the screen, saying "A Sentinal? what are the Maricans doing here?" he said...

The squad leader put down his hand and flicked his gun back resting it on his shoudler, the others did the same. He walked foreward out of the long grass, visor slideing up. He said cheerfully "Sorry about that mate, some crazy stuff going on around here so we can't take chances... we know what your here for. Repair trams are on the way right now... Do me a favor and spread out will you? Also, keep your eyes on the air, what ever's popped in the forests have got the dragon wings riled up..."

The koultian warrior was given the short break he needed, he pulled up his right arm, a tuble slideing back. With a click, a rocket flew out of the tube towards the drone, just as the warrior leapt off the wall, jump jets activateing to keep him hovering...

Thara growled aloud "It wants us to go outside... It contacted me earlier......"

Marbh was stareing at Thara, hopeing the koult had the sense to do what he asked.....

OOC: Last post for tonight.

Grievous narrowed his eyes curiously, still staring at the Sentinal. "Maricans?" Shaking his head, he looked at Thara. "How do you know so much about this thing?"

An explosion enveloped the drone, but its shield absorbed the damage effortlessly, allowing the drone to fire straight at the Koult soldier.

Elch nodded and ordered his soldiers to spread out. They fanned out across the clearing, keeping one eye on the skies. Elch had a bad feeling about whatever the problem was here...

Meanwhile, near the Luminous Grace, dozens of Flood forms, and hundreds of Infection Forms, swarmed towards the Gravity Lift.

Serephir looked at Grievous, saying "When the Vardians first made contact with the Koult, Thara's race, they mistakened us for Maricans, who, like us, are human. the Sentinals, similar to what's down in the stadium at the moment, were a horrid weapon used by the Maricans. atrocious things that killed inhumanely, mercilessly, without leaving survivors. the reason i know so much about them is that, after a similar machine was found that belonged to us, i made inquiries with the Koult authorities to find out as much as possible about them". turning to look at the thing in the stadium, and hearing Thara's words, he paused. "Wait...Thara....IT? i though the Sentinals worked under direct control of the Maricans...and from what i remember, they were rarely used for communication. any idea what's going on?" he said, somewhat surprised...

OOC: dang!

Thara said shakily, half expecting his fellows to attack him "Yes, your mostly correct.... It is a sentinal varient in base... But what you see is merely a frame, piloted by something far worse... A mind.... A sentinent Ai with impossible cabibilities.... As I said, it has been speaking to me... When we left the diner, it infiltrated Blaze's personal computer.. retreiving info about us and our ship... As I said, it wants to speak to us in person..."

Yet again the voice hissed boredly into his radio "How hard is it to convince a bunch of humans to come out and say hi? eh Thara?"

The trackers started sweeping toward the sanghelli ship, weapons drawn....
