Hellfire poked his head through the bushes, apparently wide awake. "Why thank you, Aircrest. i didn't know you cared. i was just starting to feel the scratches of hunger in my stomach. sleeping works up a monster of an appetite" growled the Deinonychus as he snatched the squirrel and gulped it down. "Compliments to the hunter" he hissed as he looked back with a devious smirk, licking his fangs...

"That was for my mate you jackass!" Aircrest hissed, rearing up slightly and raising a clawed foot. He then sent it into the Deinonychus' side with a powerful kick before he growled to Selena "Yes, if your lucky to catch one without exhausting yourself, that is"

Hellfire saw the blow coming, lifting a leg up and kicking downwards when Aircrest's came at him, sending it back down into the ground. "Temper temper, Aircrest. I DID tell you you had my compliments" hissed the Deinonychus with a smirk as he walked away, heading for the bushes nearby. "Oh. by the way. that story about the Brachiosaurs was a joke. glad you liked it" he hissed as he left...

"Well, at least he isnt insane" Aircrest growled, scratching an itch on his neck. "Being attacked by a strange rodent. Second crazy thing to happen to me today. Getting said rodent eaten by a friend was even stranger" He added with a bark.

Aircrest turned his head to Selena and poked her with his snout. "Well, at least your not mad about losing your snack" He growled. "Shall we move on?" He asked, looking off to the expanse of foliage around them

Aircrest moved along with Selena, quiet for a moment as he thought. He pushed through another line of shrubs before he growled "You remember the things I used to tell you? About having thoughts and memories I never really understood?"

He put a hand on his mate's shoulder and growled "You know that I wasnt always like this. That I was reckless and uncaring...even selfish at times. And you probably want to know whats with the change, so...here it is" the green raptor began to say, gathering his thoughts

That place, between the ocean and the jungle was like a haven for me. Warmth, good prey and the sounds of crashing waves... I thought it couldnt get any better. I was proven wrong when I met this raptor. I forget her name- her real name- I only remember the nickname I gave her. Arisol...Im still not entirely sure why that stuck with me all this time... all I know is that my relationship with her...started a lot like ours did" The green raptor took a breath, thinking about his words wisely. He didnt want to hurt Selena by talking about his previous love...
