The Lili, who had taken a couple of cautious steps into the room, glanced over her shoulder as she heard the raptor's footsteps reach the platform, then abruptly froze at a new sound- like a metallic object scraping across a hard surface before falling to the floor. It came from a small room attached to the larger one she was in, and was followed immediately by a light skittering noise. "Hmm... seems I was wrong... something is in here. I don't think it's who we're looking for though," she hissed in a low voice, a sudden outburst of chittering from the side room confirming her statement. It definitely wasn't a Lili...

Sylicora started to slowly walk away again, her eyes flicking restlessly to everyone around her, but purposfully avoiding Rhojis. She hoped she might be able to just walk away- that Rhojis might simply forget-. "Sylicora?" She barely managed to hide a wince. Knowing it was no use at this point, she stopped where she was, listening to Rhojis' footsteps come closer until they stopped beside her. "Y-yeah?" She didn't look at him, even though she felt the gray raptor's mismatched eyes watching her closely. "I... well, I guess... there's something we really need to talk about, and... the longer I wait to say it, the worse it'll be for both of us..."

After a few moments of walking around the area looking for signs of other predators and finding none, Aircrest started to make his way back to the fallen trunk sitting in the small clearing. When he got close, he jumped onto it, claws tapping against the wood when he landed. He turned to face up the shallow incline the tree made and walked along it, stepping about a bare branch that stretched out infront of him a few feet ahead. When he got to the very end- what would have been the tree top- he primed his legs and kicked off, shooting into a surrounding tree with the rustling of leaves and a soft thump when he landed on a branch. He nestled himself amongst the greenery, blending into it when the leaves settled. They only moved when a calm breeze blew through them, and the green raptor listened to the sound. It was soothing to him.

After a short walk the man already found himself in the midst of Central Park...or, at least, he thought it was the middle of the park. The vegetation was completely wild...it made navigating extremely difficult. For all he knew, he was lost. Command said otherwise, and he had to trust them. He moved silently and cautiously, occasionally getting glimpses of more of the reptilian creatures, some grazing in the distance...

Sitting in the tree and listening to the world around him made Aircrest's thoughts wander. They explored the very expanse of his mind. He thought about how he was so clearly adapted to life in the trees, with a body more slender than an average raptor's, powerful legs for leaping to branch to branch and a hide to help him practically vanish into the jungle canopy on Sorna. He thought about how lucky he was, finding Hazel and then finding his mate after. He then thought about what the tan female had told him- or rather- scolded him about. Though what she said about risking his life playing games wasnt what stood out to him. Instead, it was what she said about having hatchlings without a father. His mind drifted from there to her warning, about how if he didnt start thinking about his future the past might happen in the present. The thought frightened him, yet it confused him to no end at the same time. His entire life was basically him going where the wind blew. Rarely did he make plans past getting food and water each day. Suddenly he was supposed to think about the years ahead, despite the unpredictability of life!? He shook his head and let out an irritated hiss. Taking a breath, he started thinking about a seemingly simple matter. Was he ready to become a father? And was Selena ready to become a mother? The subject was what destroyed his first relationship...but he was older and smarter than he was back then. But still the fact remained that he knew nothing about caring for hatchlings, and that he wasnt sure if he was ready to settle down and take such responsibillity. Realizing that he hadnt made any progress what so ever, Aircrest let out another grumble before falling silent once again, letting his mind clear until his focus had gone back to the sounds of the urban jungle, bird songs and the distant calls of other dinosaurs.

Selena stretched out not far from Aircrest, beginning to doze off as warmth seeped into her skin.

As Lurker continued down the street, he finally saw some viable prey. A large herd of Placerias was swaggering down the street toward Central Park, their bodies swaying in a rythmic back and forth motion due to their legs sticking out of the sides of their bodies. A few members of the herd were busy trying to uproot the ferns growing out of the concrete on the street, their tusks meerly bouncingoff the hard solid substance. To any watching it would have been as if watching a scene from a time long past, to when the relatives of Placerias were the dominant herbivores on the planet. Lurker lowered his body and began to creep forward. Thankfully for him, the herd was too preoccupied to even bother looking behind them...

As Kronos drives the stegosaurus over to Lehra's hiding spot, the stego begins to slow down and begins to lose energy. When it is clsoe enough, Lehra jumps out and tackels the stego to the ground, grabbing onto its side and biting its neck. It attempts to hit her with its tail before it gives in and suffocates from Lehra's death grip. Lehra grunts to Kronos before they begin to feed on the fallen herbivore.....

Gothmog lumbers through the jungle, sniffing the air for something to hunt or eat.....

Minutes went by before Aircrest made any other movement. He had been laying atop the branch in deathly silence, something most considered impossible for the green raptor. Finally, he sat up and spun himself about on the branch, rustling the leaves around with his tail. He looked down to the fallen tree and hopped down to it, landing with a soft thump. When he thought about it, he wasnt the only one being silent. He looked about for his mate, finding her napping not too far from him. He walked over to her slowly, careful not to make any noise to wake her. When he got close, he lowered himself to her side and started stroking her neck affectionatly, able to put aside his confusion for the moment...

Selena gave a sleepy but content purr, unconsciously leaning into the touch though she didn't wake. A faint smile graced her scarred, reptillian features.

Aircrest looked down at the gray female, thinking about what he should do. He'd rather have his mate and sister in one spot with the news of humans. He lowered his snout and nudged the back of Selena's head a few times "Let me take you back to the creek" Aircrest growled into Selena's ear. "You could ride on my back if your tired, like old times" He said, smiling though his mate couldnt see

Much to the man's surprise, he soon was able to smell the nearby sea. Although he was camouflaged, he had assumed other animals would be attracted to him by smell: it appeared that his trek through the thick foliage did more then obscure his path, masking his scent with that of the forest itself. Although he wasn't completely safe, it was definitely an improvement. Focusing on his objective, the man continued forward through the thinning foliage...

Gothmog continues on his way, still hungry. He hadn't eaten in a while. Trying his luck, he heads out into the city to hunt for triceratops..........

Selena muttered something under her breath as she opened one eye and fixed a half-hearted glare on the male. She yawned and got up slowly, trying to shake off her drowsiness.

"You do know I was serious, right?" Aircrest barked, cocking his head. "If your sleepy, I can take you back" he continued, moving to help his mate to her feet

As Lurker crept closer, the nearest Placerias turned his head lazily over to face the Gorgonops, before bellowing in alarm. In an instant, the whole herd was in an uproar, adults roaring in confusion as they scattered in all directions. The ole Placerias that had spotted Lurker stood his guard, aparently unaware of his herd having abandoned him. All the better for the Gorgonops... The rpedator circled the herbivore, the tusked animal swerving his head to make sure his tusks were between himself and the carnivore...

"Sweep me off my feet, O Great One," Selena muttered jokingly, climbing onto the male's back, careful not to cut him with her claws.

Aircrest lowered himself slightly under the new weight on his back, but he quickly adapted, lifting his body back to his full height. With that, he took a deep breath and shot off back towards the creek, leaving a trail of rustling leaves when he plowed through some surrounding bushes. As he ran he made sure to adjust his movement to compensate for the added weight. He didnt plan of tipping over in the middle of a turn.

The docks. He could hardly believe it. It seemed, even though the city was abandoned, one man wandering through New York City was as insignificant as ever. Although he had seen the signs of the animals, thankfully none approached him...yet. He wasn't home free just yet, though he could see the ships in the distance. Viewing them from a distance with his scope, he confirmed his suspicions: the ships were abandoned. Traces of blood and debris were everywhere. Either the pirates themselves were dead...or their guests had a very violent exit out of the vessels. Lowering his rifle, the man walked on hurriedly. The docks themselves were still green with ground vegetation, but the cover of the trees was almost completely gone. Having served a long time as a military sniper, he understood just how exposed he was now, camouflage or not. As he approached, however, he soon found himself stopping dead in his tracks. He could feel it...the footfalls of something. Something huge...quite larger then what he had seen before. Although he was a hardened veteran, the man found himself racing toward the ships, rifle strapped to his back. The footfalls were getting louder...much louder. Whatever it was knew he was there, and was definitely giving chase...

"You were...always one to give up...why stop now?" Mist breathed as she and her brother circled each other. "Sounds like a plan!" growled Zheja in the background, though he was ignored. "And you...were always one...to run away from your problems..." Rainus responded with a hiss, teeth barred. "Also a good idea!" Zheja chimed in, once again ignored. "What...did you hope to accomplish here, brother? Turn the young one into your newest pawn?" the white female growled, anger rising. "I can think for myself, thanks!" Zheja added. "Why does...it concern you? Shouldn't you be rotting...in a cave by now, you old crone?" Rainus responded harshly, earning a hiss from his sibling. "Hey, that was just uncalled for." the black and white raptor added in the background. "I think you're all idiots."

"SHUT UP ZHE-" the two raptors snarled at once, turning to the owner of the voice, stopping dead once they did. "...Ok this is just too coincidental." Zheja growled, watching his father, who was now standing beside him. "The family reunion continues to grow! Do you think our dearly departed brother will visit as well?" Rainus hissed with a sadistic smile. "Not even in death would Onarus give you a second thought, Rainus." Darkness hissed bitterly, feeling a slight pang of guilt at the mention of his brother. "Good to see you again. Perhaps now we can finish this little whelp...or would you like to continue our mindless brawl?" Mist growled, spitting blood onto the pavement. "I think we should all calm down and talk about this-" Zheja began, only to be cut off. "Shut up Zheja." Darkness growled bluntly, the black and white raptor shrinking back slightly, annoyed. "Fine...see if I care about my family ever again..." Zheja grumbled quietly to himself.

As he made his way back to the creek- he could hear the water trickling- Aircrest panted to Selena "Hey...either Ive gotten stronger or you got lighter" He swerved about a large rock with plants growing over it, his body leaning towards it before leveling out when the raptor cleared it. "Have you been eating right since we got seperated?" He barked, mostly jokingly. Running with another raptor on his back was strenuous, but it helped him vent off some of his excess energy
