Zheja waved a hand, which he shoved through the bush as well. "My fault. Shouldn't dwell on things that happened so long ago." he growled with a low sigh.

Fury took a step back to avoid the attack, though it never came...

Rapture watched the three Lilis with half-closed eyes, the warm sand having a similar effect as the tranquilizers, it seemed...

As the female T-rex and Gorgonops continued onward, they noticed that the trees began to not only thin out abit, but also began to change types. Where there were once jungle trees, there were now mainly monkey puzzles and conifers. "What is this place?" Lurker snarled, to which the female T-rex hissed in delight. "This is where my territory is... for reasons I don' tknow, the trees here are diffrent than on most of the rest of the island. THere's more open space here, meaning more large prey items can move about with less trees to restrict their movement. Plus, there's a small lake in the middle, which is where most of the herbivores gather..." Blackscale snarled... Hopefully, no other predators have taken claim to what was her territory...

Hazel stared at the group of dinosaurs, biting her lip. She was curious and had questions about how they were all connected to one another, but those questions were personal... she had just met the strangers. To play it safe, she kept quiet, but her thoughts showed in her inquiring blue gaze.

Aircrest growled "Well, now that I know you are all Ok, I need to go find the others and find out their where abouts. Blade, Hellfire, Switchblade if Im lucky." He trailed off for a moment, thinking about where to start in his search. If Ripper was alright, he'd definitely be at his sanctum, reclaiming the lab and planning his future travels. He'd begin with his elder mentor, before checking up on the others.

"Your going alone?" Hazel barked, cocking her head. "Yeah. Wouldnt want to drag you around the island for a personal mission" Aircrest growled. "...Oh the irony" The tan female grunted, a thoughtful look on her face. Aircrest snickered and growled to the group "You all be safe. I dont want to come back finding any of you dead, k?"

just as Fury was recovering from the first mock lunge, Crusher made a second, swinging his head into the Rex's face, knocking the challenger's head sideways, fangs bared, expecting a counter attack...

"Wow" growled Serena, looking around at the structure. unlike the fairly intact structures in NYC, the lab had vines growing thickly on the walls and ceilings. in one corner of the main entrance hall, a large tree had grown, it's branches punching out of the old glass windows that made up a large portion of the wall, a couple of branches intertwining to completely block off one of the hallways on the first floor. the winding metallic staircases to either side of the room were also heavily overgrown. the skeletal remains of a dead raptor lay on the ground, though a very old smeared blood trail led to one of the windows, the jagged edges of the glass still tinted a dull copper brown from the dried fluid. the Raptor was layed to rest on it's side, curled up, as a Raptor would in it's sleep. she gazed at it for a few moments, wondering who it had been. "My brother" growled Ripper, almost as if he knew what she was thinking. she looked back at the raptor, perched on one of the poles forming the ground floor base for the railings on the stairs, looking down at her quietly. "He was the first to go down after the humans finally lost control. I owe my life to him. he had knocked me through that opening just as the humans attacked him. the damage caused made him weak. too weak to jump through after me. he fell on the jagged edge of the opening and died from the injury. after the humans were killed and chased off, i came back and moved him. I didn't think he'd want to be seen in that state of weakness. he liked his sleep, so i put him in a position where he'd be comfortable sleeping forever" hissed the Elder sadly as he leapt off the pole, walking up the stairs, his claws making faint clinking sounds on contact with the metallic stairs. Serena, curious, followed him...

"Yeah. I need you four to stick together down here while i get Renegade. I seriously doubt there'll be trouble, but if there is any, call out. I'll get back as fast as i can" he growled as he ascended. out of the den...

With a snarl, Fury threw himself forward, smashing his bulk, shoulder first, against Crusher's chest...

Crusher snarled, taking a step back as he swung his head down on Fury's back, the sheer force of the blow forcing him into a crouch, opening his mouth as he swung his head to one side, biting ahold of the base of Fury's neck, pushing as he swung his head sideways, in an attempt to knock him over...

Old One Eye followed the gorgonospid's scent. She knew it was close..... however, the smell of a rex filled her nose. Wondering what a small repitle was doing with a T. rex, she begins to back away from the area........

As both carnivores continued on, they entered into a large grassland area. Here, there were few ferns, and mostly grass. A few groves of Monkey Palm trees and Cycads dotted the area. several Ananotitan were grazing on the grass, the duck billed dinosaurs too busy feeding to notice the female T-rex in the area. About a mile away, a group of Styracosaurus were watching as two bulls of their species sparred with one another, due to it being the middle of the mating season for them. "Nice place..." Lurker snarled... After having been used to the streets of that human area for so long, this was a nice break...

"Take care of yourself too, love," Selena barked. "Hate to find you trampled by our friend the ticked off Triceratops later." Though her words were joking, her gaze was serious.

Aircrest gave Selena's side one last brush and let out a quiet rumble in his throat. He was going to calm her worries by bringing up his old hobby, but decided against it. He had a feeling that describing how he used to throw himself into danger and evaded certain death would have the opposite effect. So after that last nuzzle, he turned away from the mutant look alike and looked into the jungle expanse, before darting off into the undergrowth, receading rustling and thumping foot steps marking his departure

"Yeah, I was just being reminded of my brother. That's the last thing I need right now," Howler hissed, lying down. Glancing at Fatalis as he left, he merely shrugged, crossing his forearms and resting his chin on them...

The raptor panted as he ran, twisting his body about to and fro and slipping through the shrubs and trees in his way. Vines hung over head or draped across from tree branch to tree branch, casting strange shadows when Aircrest moved through a clearing. As he sped across the jungle floor, Aircrest found himself leaping over fallen trees and branches, fungus and moss growing over them. The landscape had changed in the days he was trapped in the human hell, but still Aircrest passed through with swift and agile movement. The over whelming scent of Tyrannosaurs drifted to his nose, male and female. The scent was familiar, the two Rexes that attacked the mutant hive a while back. Friends of Ripper. It explained why he hadnt picked up signs of other creatures as he neared the labs. They all fled from the giants in the area...

As Fury fell, he kicked out at Crusher, striking his chest, knocking the air from his lungs.

"A tad suicidal, isn't he?" Zheja growled as the green raptor left, yawning, which caused him to have a mouth full of leaves...

"Ah... In that case, I think I'll go... see what's over there," Sylicora hissed, curious, but not about to ask. With a glance up at Fatalis as he left the cave, she pushed off from the wall, heading over to the leaf layer on the other side of the cave, intent on testing it out...

Switchblade curled up behind the fern, letting herself truly relax for the first time in much too long, eyes slipping closed. The gray Lili continued to eat in silence, the last of her meal disappearing a short while later, at which point her head once again sank to the ground, but she remained alert, gaze flicking from the treeline, to the three Lilis and back again, reluctant to let her guard down even now.

"He's been a loner more than anything else in his life... his tactics are...questionable...but they've kept him alive over the years" Hazel replied to Zheja, smirking at what happened to him. "Changing your diet Zheja? I see the life of a plant grazer appeals to you" She barked

Zheja spat out the leaves, glaring at the raptor. "Very funny." he hissed, pushing himself further out of the bush, so such a thing wouldn't happen again. "So where to now, Selena and she whose name I don't think I asked about?" he growled with a smirk...

Howler glanced at Sylicora, hissing, "Right, you do that..." With a sigh, he got up and headed outside, pacing around just outside the cave, taking in his new surroundings...

"Weird. After Aircrest said it you'd think you'd know" the tan raptor replied, snickering. "Its Hazel; and as for your other question, no idea. We've gotta care for Rose now, though" She barked, looking to the young raptor.

"Wasn't quite in my right mind at the time, Hazel." Zheja growled with another yawn, thankful the gesture wasn't interrupted again...

"Good point" Hazel growled, chuckling sheepishly after.

Aircrest neared the compound, and he could see the decaying structure, a phantom slowly being swallowed by the jungle. Its rusted orange splotches that caught his eye made him think about how Ripper would've looked in his younger days. As he closed in on the structure, he leapt into the trees. He landed lightly on a branch and stream lined himself, making the transition from running on the ground to the branch with ease. He hopped from tendril to tendril, making a soft rustle that could've easilly been mistaken for a light breeze blowing through. Soon enough he reached the tree that had started to burst from the lab, leaping onto its branches and working his way down silently before stepping onto the metallic roof. His claws made soft tapping noise against the sheets of metal, which had smears of green and snaking vines. He walked over to one particular spot on the roof. A hole in the top where a cover of rust had once been, long collapsed, leaving an orange ringed opening above a cat walk. The green raptor stepped over the edge and dropped down onto the platform with a echoing thunk, as he did when he was the elder's apprentice....
