Viridis followed his gaze to her mother. "Maybe..." She was tempted. The life she'd wanted was calling to her...the chance to see more than just the same raptors, the same prey, the same land. "I'd have to talk to her...make sure she knows I wouldn't be alone..."

"Well, i can say this much. you'd be safe. You'd be taught the lessons most loners only gain with time...and you wouldn't have to worry about enemies where we stop. I've roamed alot of the island. I know many really good places to rest all over the island. you'd learn to hunt what most Raptors would consider unhuntable...there'd be plenty of benefits" growled Fatalis as he rested his head for the first time since he left his own home in the cave with the others...

Hazel shot out from between palm trees at the edge of the jungle, kicking up sand when she hit the beach. She slowed down and looked down the stretch of sand, seeing Aircrest approaching, keeping close to the tree line. "How're you feeling?" She called out to him. He replied with a sneeze. "I see!" Hazel barked. She started to jog towards him. He barked when she got close "Your up early"
"I had more than enough sleep yesterday" She growled, slowing down and keeping her distance, not wanting to catch her brother's illness. "Your up pretty early yourself, for a sick one" She added, giving Aircrest a scolding look. "Whats going through that head of yours?"
"Aside from screeching 'Go choke on a Trike bone!' to the giants that think the crack of dawn is a good time to open their big mouths? Nothing" Aircrest growled irritably. Hazel shook her head and growled "How about you go lay down somewhere while I go on a hunt? Maybe greet your mate when she wakes up. Just dont wake her or the others before then"
"Yeah, yeah" Aircrest grumbled. "I know. I want to get better as fast as possible"
"Well, take care of yourself" Hazel growled before turning back towards the jungle and speeding off into the foliage. Aircrest sighed and continued walking along the beach, sniffling

Viridis was about to reply when she saw her father stand. He padded over to Silver and gave her a nudge, waking the pale raptor, and approached Mwuaji. Part of her wanted to protest as Inculta roused the young mutant as well. "Father...?" she growled, confused. Inculta nudged Banescale before turning to his daughter. "What's going on?" "A little hunting trip," the golden-eyed male growled, his voice just a bit too smooth for her to believe he was being entirely truthful. Silver and Mwuaji got up, Silver having to shake off her hatchlings gently as she did so, both looking as puzzled as Viridis felt. But seeing the cold look in the leader's eye made it all click. "You...you're going to take them to fight the Oviraptors?" she whispered, eyes widening with shock. He didn't reply, waiting for Banescale to rise.

Fatalis eyed Viridis, noting that Mwuaji hadn't slept. he was also conscerned for Silver. he couldn't allow her to get into harms way when she had chicks to watch out for. he had felt the pain of life without a mother, and didn't want that possibility to even hint at arising for the chicks. "Viridis. Can i trust you to watch Sylicora?" he growled as he rose to his feet...

Eradicus, barely hearing the female tyrannosaur, Enria call for a mate, responded with a loud, bellowing roar, telling her to shut up. He then continued to the river, finding a fresh carcass near it, the head missing. He knew a crocodile or something similar had gotten it, and lapped up some water, before taking the meat to his new home.

Chopper's group, being upwind of the protoceratops herd, stalked from the tall grass, going for a small pair that were happily grazing together. Brute's group, being closer to the pair, lashed out, the two younger one's scaring the rest of the herd. Chopper, Brute, Flamejaw and the female juvenile surrounded the two remaining protoceratops, the rest of the herd unknowingly was being chased towards Snake and Wolfe, who moved past their parents quietly, to get a better view of the hunt...

"I...yes," Viridis growled, surprised. "But where are you going?" Silver was saying a quick goodbye to her chicks, nuzzling each one in turn. "Behave for Viridis. I'll be back soon little ones," she promised, looking up and seeing Fatalis had risen. She rose to her full height, looking from her friend to her new leader, wondering what was about to happen.

"Inculta...i have a proposition for you. Mwuaji's been standing guard all night. he won't perform his best if you send him out now. and Silver has chicks to watch. Let me go in their place" growled the Raptor as he eyed the pack's leader...

Inculta eyed Fatalis skeptically. "You? Stand in for two raptors who have yet to prove their worth to the pack?" he growled. Astus, woken by the commotion, raised his head. Siri was feigning sleep, but watching everything through one half-open violet eye.

"If it's a question of whether i'm qualified, i assure you, i'm more than capable. They can prove themselves another time, when they're not in such a fragile state, perhaps. as is, Mwuaji's performance would be hindered severely by exhaustion. You wouldn't see what he's truely capable of if you test him in this state. and Silver's got a family to take care of. She can't afford to be put in harms way now" growled Fatalis sincerely, being as diplomatic as he could...

As if to emphasize the point, Mwuaji let out a long yawn, then immediately growled, "He's talking sense Inculta. Let him go." Despite his mild tone, Inculta rounded on the young mutant, narrowing his eyes, only to pause as Silver's gentler voice cut into the conversation. "I know just how skilled Fatalis is. he and I have known each other for a long time. I will gladly prove my loyalty to you one day; but not when my chicks are still so young." Inculta looked from Mwuaji to Silver to fatalis, before nodding shortly. "Fine," he hissed.

Fatalis nodded to the pack leader. "You will not be disappointed" hissed the Raptor as he stretched, loosening up, preparing for the hunt...

Gothmog returns to his Triceratops kill, which is rather meaty still despite its guts bieng emptied out. There is plenty of meat on it still. Surprisingly however, Gothmgo is not hungry. He lies down in the foilage nearby and rests....

Picking up the scent of a dead trike, Enria quiets herself and begins to loduly stomp through the jungle, following the scent of rotting flesh. She could afford to wait a day or to to try for a mate again. She hoped.

Gothmog begins to rest, the Giga tired from his wandering over the past few hours, not noticing the faint scent of the rex yet......

Sighting the dead trike, Enria lets out a booming roar, letting everything around know the kill was her. She began her slow trot to the trike, her legs pumping up and down like fleshy pistons.

Gothmog grunts awake form the roar, opening his eyes widely. The huge brown Giga gets to his feet, the smell of the rex filling his nose. He narrows his eyes. This little rex just stole his kill! Gothmog lets out a monstrous roar and knocks aside the foilage on either side of him, marching towards the rex, standing tall, looking as intimidating as he can, his beady black eyes glaring at the rex......

After her shameful lose to the Charcodontasaur Eradicus, the loss of her home, and the fact that she couldnt find a mate, Enria just roared back, but it came out much more quitely than she had intended, and began to slowly back away from the trike, and the massive giganotosaur that stood over it.

the booming footfalls were unmistakable. trees swayed wildly and birds scattered in panic as an enormous Tyrannosaur tore out of the treeline, eying the scene. the female Rex, a dead trike, and a Giga. more specifically, a Giga he had chased off before. a low rattling snarl came from the Patriarch as he approached, eyes drifting between the two predators in front of him...

Gothmog turned to Crusher's appearance, narrowing his eyes towards the monstrous rex.

"Back away, old one! I am going to teach this female a lesson!"

Gothmog turns back towards the female rex, slowly approaching her.

"Now, what brings you here, fool?......"
