Karan, the koultian admiral in charge of the pursuit, nodded to Bias... He growled "Computer, progress"

A whisspery voice responded "14 hours behind targets trail. Missile firing solutions have been configuired." He nodded and ordered "Get the penetrators going hot, prep the missiles for launch. Lets keep this basic though..." He glanced towards Bias and said "If the flood reach them, we should eliminate the aliens as well... Its too much to risk otherwise...." He paused, hopeing for aggreement from the drone he had come to respect.

Secretly out from the darkness of space near Trandosha. Several small like probes appeared, seemingly out of nowhere..they were completely black, perfectly fitting with the darkness of space. The stealth probes were almost impossible to find..they gave no heat, radiation, nothing..it was like if they werent there at all.

In the mean time..another fleet was preparing for combat. Enough data had been recieved and once more..the Imperials were now ready for combat..

Serephir followed the cyborg General as they entered, keeping an eye on the soldiers around him, the 3 VAMCEB soldiers behind him following closely, with Jarmun and Jarad following behind them, still staring at everything with all the enthusiasm of a child in a toy factory...

The door at the other end of the barracks opened, revealing a massive hangar, the vehicle bay. Land vehicles of all shapes and sizes filled the massive chamber, and repair droids and Trandoshan engineers scampered this way and that, looking for something to do.

"Of course," replied Bias nonchalantly. "It may be best to warn them first, however. The inhabitants must be able to fight the Flood effectively if we are to control the infestation."

Serephir continued to follow silently, Jarmun and Jarad hanging back, their eyes almost out on stalks. they had never been in a military base before...

Grievous walked out of another hatch at the other end of the vehicle bay, going back outside. They were near the back of the base now, where the two looming cave entrances were. There were many droids guarding the fences, but few Trandoshans, who gave the area a wide berth. "Don't worry about the caves," said Grievous. "The Red-Eyes live in a tunnel system back there, and this is just a precautionary measure."

Serephir paid the caves no mind as he continued to follow Grievous. there was nothing that really required questions. things seemed to be fairly well taken care of...

Grievous headed towards the medical bay, which looked similar to the barracks, though slightly larger. He didn't bother going in. Hopefully it wouldn't be necessary. He passed the building, as well as the mess hall, instead heading back towards the massive missile launcher. "And here, is the centerpiece."

Serephir looked at the weapon, an impressed look on his face. "What form of ammunition does it use?" he asked, trying to judge it's effectiveness from his experience in warfare...

Grievous, looking up at the weapon, said, "A highly volatile material called baradium. It increase the explosive force of the missile fiftyfold, capable of rendering larger capital ships shieldless and taking out smaller ones completely. The warheads in the missile are also highly explosive by themselves, making just one shot lethal. Unfortunately, its range is limited to the planet's atmosphere. I have planetary turbolasers and special missile launchers for taking out ships in orbit."

"Impressive. that may come in handy. i assume the the launcher's controls are well guarded?" said Serephir inquiringly while examining the launcher in depth through the vision enhancing eyepatch, using the x-ray feature to check things like bore width and cooling systems, among other things...

"The missile launcher is literally sitting on the control room," replied Grievous, gesturing at a nearly invisible door in the base of the launcher's cylindrical support structure. "I can, of course, control it myself if necessary."

Serephir nodded. "Passwords, guards, anything similar preventing access to the launcher's controls? i'd hate to end up with a misunderstanding to occur between us or other allies to come as a result of someone managing to gain control of it" he said...

"Everything you could possibly think of," replied Grievous. "Droid and Trandoshan guards, password protection, heavily encrypted, and I am able to override everything should something go wrong. Only someone who knew everything about it, which is limited to the Trnadoshans who operate it, as well as myself, would be able to use it."

An expirment was too take place. Should it be sucessful..there was no doubt that those who served under Grevious would be indtimdated from the Empire. The Executor Class Star Dreadnought..Intimidator was meant to do that. With hyperspace coordinates recieved from a while ago...a massive fleet of Imperial War ships appeared behind the astroid field of Geonosis. With a clear shot the planet, they were most likely bound to get attacked from in between the two defenses but it did not matter. There was more then enough ships to hold their own but no sign of the Annihilator. Imperial Class II Star Destroyers made the magjority but unlike the rest..these were stronger and had better defenses. They were simply dubbed as Imperial Class 2.5 but still considered Imperial Class II. There was no change in apperance but there was better evidence in battle.

With Numerous ships such as Imperial Class Super Star Destroyers, eight mile long ships along with the groups of Torpedo Spheres and all sorts of Imperial Tartan Crusiers and broadside crusiers. Smaller and weaker ships such as Victory Star Destroyers came along as well.

There was however..new ships..From their apperance, one could argue they werent even Imperial. Inspired and modified for Imperial Reasons..Multiple large and rounded ships dubbed as "HEX" Deployers had appeared. These ships were focused towards the planet of Geonosis itself as once more..Another surprise attack...

As typical..a massive barrage of immense Turbo Laser Fire was unleashed towards the enemy fleet while the other weapons were ready to fire..

The fleet, however, was far from surprised. They immediately opened fire, barraging the Imperial ships with gigatons of turbolaser fire and proton torpedoes. In the little time they had waited for another attack, more nukes had been launched, and the Imperial ships were right on top of them. Those ships that were caught in the epicenters of these massive explosions were immediately disintegrated, and many more were disabled and rendered defenseless from Sassk's fleet's bombardment. The Vengeance opened up with its mini Superlaser, bisecting two Star Destroyers which were next to each other, breaking through their shields with no sign of slowing, leaving the two halves of each ship to float, dead in space, venting atmosphere and crashing into other ships, crumpling smaller ones completely and causing chaos within the fleet.

Serephir was about to respond as a bleep was heard. he raised his right arm as a light flashed from within the gauntlet in a square shape, a screen coming up. "General. the enemy has returned. Probes indicate massive numbers, various sized Star Destroyers. no doubt the Empire. should we engage?" came the Admiral's voice. "Indeed. for now, keep to conventional weaponry. if things deteriorate, then start using the alternatives. Proceed with Operation Boa-Strike as normal" responded Serephir. "At once, General" responded the Admiral, the screen then closing and sealing itself within the gauntlet once more. "It appears our friends have returned" he said, looking at Grievous...

Grievous looked up at the sky, as if he could see the battle from there. "Indeed. No worries, though. They have yet to deal with your ships, and they won't have a chance against mine anyway."

As repeated from before..Thousands of Fighters were unleashed, the swift and mobile TIE Fighters and TIE Squardons. Advanced pilots were in TIE Interceptors. TIE Bombers proceeded with the simple statergy of bombing enemy targets while being covered. Toredpo Spheres unleashed vollies upon vollies of Intruder Missles and Assault Conccusion Weapons which were made for decimating capital ships. Highly powered Anti matter missles and bombs were added..Torpedo Spheres and their advanced locking on and firing abiltities made their mark. The classical Star Destroyers replied with sheer gigatons of energy of turbo laser fires and Ion Cannons. With the One, Two punch combo of smashing through shields and the hull with Turbo Lasers and Ion Cannons along with the added missles was bound to make sure that Grevious Fleet was to suffer.

The Intimidator itself was easily ripping apart ships smaller then itself. With thousands of weaponry..like the ships of its class..bringing it down would prove to be very difficult to achieve. Meanwhile..

As the battle soon found itself back in the classical combat..the HEX Destroyers began to unleash thousands of missles. These missiles were different types. This was a biological weapon of mass destruction. Nicknamed.."Dragon's Breath" a single vile of such poison was said to kill 300 wookies. With probes using advanced capabiltites to find areas with population..it was not long till these extremley powerful nuclear like weapons were hitting these areas..The toxic unleashed were known to disingrate the humanoids with ease..

Sassk chuckled at the HEX's attempt at attacking the planet. Geonosis' sentient inhabitants were stationed away in massive underground hives, with only tall spires to provide a way out. These spires were shielded as well, and the biological missiles had no effect. Of course, most everything on the planet was barren, leaving nothing for the toxin to take effect on.

Back in space, meanwhile, the Vengeance fired again, its Superlaser slamming into the Intimidator. Repeating the process that had crippled the Reaper, it fired a second time, tracing the green beam across the ship's wide hull, cutting huge rifts and following it up with torpedoes and laserfire, which melted through decks like tissue paper. The rest of the fleet let the Vengeance take care of the flagship, while they focused on the smaller ships, Brawlers obliterating anything smaller than them in only a few seconds. Buzz Droids, yet again, attacked the Torpedo Spheres, disabling them and rendering them useless. More nukes detonated in the asteroid belt, taking out ships farther away from Sassk's fleet and completely vaporizing most of the TIE squadrons. Anything else that survived was shot down by accurate point-defense lasers that took out a TIE with every shot. The planetary turbolasers and missile launchers fired, taking out many HEX ships, and kept going, slamming into some of the larger ships in the Imperial fleet. "Surely this is a joke!" laughed Sassk. "They don't even know anything about Geonosis!"
