Hish snorted at the Spec Ops. They stripped all three of them down, and then started to take them to there cells

The ship's brig was made up of a large room, two pillars supporting it at the front. At the back was a raised pedestal with a holographic console on it. Lining the walls were half a dozen smaller rooms, each blocked by a shimmering energy shield. One of the Sangheili placed the confiscated weapons and equipment on the platform and hit a switch. The fields dissipated, and the Sangheili herded each Yautja into a separate cell, before activating the shield again. The Spec Ops soldiers stayed where they were, to stand guard.

Hish sighed, sat down, and waited. Waited for something to happen. For Rtas' to question him of the Covenant, for the ship to be attacked, waited.... For anything.

Rtas, satisfied that no more threats seemed imminent, had since headed to the brig. Walking into the room, he barked, "Which one of you is the leader?"

Meanwhile, a single spore, dropped off from the Space Bugs previously, had since settled down on Trandosha's surface with no incident. It watched the landing pad the Endeavour was on. And it waited...

Location: Undoubted Repentance

"These were the only specimens we were capable of retrieving," stated one of the armored Kig-yar, "There weren't nearly as many spores as we believed." The supreme commander grinded his teeth, and stared at the mid-sized container, his sapphire-colored eyes hooked to it. He growled in anger, "I gave you a simple task, and yet you only retrieve a few hundred spores," he refocused his eyes on the Rangers, "I am most disappointed."
"I am truly sorry commander..."
"Yes, yes you definatly are."
"Wait-- what?"
"You know how things are run, we are a busy buisness, and we have no time for slackers."
The ranger just stared at Zahr'kagar's feet, shaking under his armor, "I am-"
"You and your rangers are done, no more shallyou work with the Galactic Pirate Federation."
The ranger lifted his head to gaze into Zahr's eyes, those eerie, sapphire, eyes. He almost choked, but managed to let out a few words, "Done?" Zahr'kagar smirked, and looked at one of the guards, where he made a nodding motion. The ranger turned back to look at the guard, whom began to take out what looked like a weapon. He, as well as the other rangers began to panic, "This is outrageous!" Where the ranger pulled out his beam rifle, and pulled the trigger, the guard collapsing to the ground. He then quickly aimed for Zahr'kagar, whom sat smirking, "You're a very violent one, aren't you?" He chuckled.
"I am," began the ranger, his redicule pointed towards Zahr's head, his claw an inch away from pulling the trigger, "but only with my enem-" but he quickly became silent, and his lifeless body fell to the ground. The other rangers stared in disbelief, puzzled as to how and what just happened. Zahr stood up, and held out his hand, a blue, and round, object grasped in his palm. He snickered, and pushed on it, "When will you all learn that we are pirates," he began, tossing the object at the group, the rangers panicing, and diving to the side, in order to evade it, "When your captain says something... it's do or die!" The guards all pulled out and activated energy swords, and attacked the rangers, slaughtering them all.

Another Kig-yar, wielding a beam rifle, soon emerged besides Zahr, it's camoflage fading away. "So, what now?" a feminine voice emerged from her mouth. Zahr sat back into his gravity throne, and cocked his head back to face the female Kig-yar, "Why, we begin experimentation, of course. My weapon should have been in process of creation by now." The female Kig-yar grunted, "Alright, I'll have the guards bring the specimens to the labs right away." She turned her head to face the clutter of guards, and hissed, pointing at the large container, now completely filled with flood-biomass. Without question, the guards all rushed to the large glass container, and lifted it. The female then began to walk down the steps of the platform, "Bring the container to Lab 01!" She barked, exiting the bridge with the guards.

Zahr'kagar watched her as she did so, examining her neck, her figure, everything. His eyes were glued to her, his mind racing to many different thoughts. It was of his nature for him to do so, she was one of the few females aboard his ship, and she had power... what was NOT to like.

Zhar sent a message to Zahr'kagar, noticing that the boarding craft on the Battlecruiser had left. "I'm guessing you've found what you need?" The Kig-Yar clacked.

With a high pitched whoosh, the missile blasted off Adam's tripod, zipping into the air and arcing down out of sight... moments later the sky lit up with an orange blinding glow... The sound waves wouldn't reach them for a few seconds but the deafening explosion had already sounded in Joeys ERL (Extended Range Listener. Nano sensors orbiting the Invader at long range which can provide feed back as it happens, enabling quicker reactions)

He finished the cut on the bunkers wall. An Inverted U. He stepped closer, deploying his two graspers, the robotic tenticles slideing down, claws spreading wide. Two different view panels slide across his HUD, showing the graspers view respectively... He clamped them down on the edge of the cut, holding two controlers in his hands. He pulled them down, the graspers mimicing the movement, ripping the flap of metal down, exposing the bunkers interior.... What he saw was hundreads of people, maybe two floors down, all of them running and screaming in fear, having yet to reach the lower levels of the bunker.

His scanner read the scene and reported the following information:
"Species: Human
Quantity: 408 Total 378 Healthy 30 Injured 0 Dead
Armanent: Unarmed, light munitions, meleé
Threat level: Zero
Superiority index: 0%
Assumed allegince: Civillian"

Joey quickly radioed Mac
"Sky Fire 4 here, Mac, negetive ID on target. These are Civilians. Aborting"
A cold emotionless voice replied "Sky fire 6, Negetive 4. That IS your target"

Joey was left speechless, stareing down at the people below, his face mimicing their own horrified gazes.
Suddenly the deafening sound of Gunfire broke out next to him, the volume reduced to be safe to hear for his ears, but still as disturbing as if he was right next to it"
A view port slid around, revealing an Invader tripod crouched down behind him, its dual disintergrator cannons suspended on tenticles at its side, their muzzles a blaze with fire, thin streaks of yellow zipping into the open hole in the bunker. Rock and dust was being flung in all directions, people being thrown to the ground. People falling to the ground. Blood splattering the floor.

Then Adams Ion cannons revealed themselves. The thick cylindrical barrel glowing white for a moment, and then the beams revealed them selves. The twin shafts of white fire ripped into the bunker, sweeping over the terrified crowds. Humans below litterally being consumed by flame and turned to dust. The flowing beams didn't stop, leaving a swath of death and destruction in their wake.

Joey's view screen saw showed it all. The Invader's serach light illuminated the civillians face's right before they died. He saw one person leaping to the side as the ion cannons beam sweapt towards him, then his side was simply sheered off, leaving the man in half. The horrific mess flopped to the ground sickeningly, and then the beams dissappeared. Vapour rose up from where the streams of destruction had been moments before.

The scanner had updated the information the whole way through the 13 seconds the attack had taken
"Species: Unknown
Quantity: Healthy 0 Injured 0 Dead 170 Unaccounted for 238
"
Adam's slightly irritated voice radioed "Sky Fire 1, Target Destroyed. Moving onto Dock for next objective..."

A mechanical foot crushed into the bunkers roof, Adam's Invader hauling itself ontop of it, strideing forward into the city...

None of the three spoke stairing at Rtas' while clacking there mandibles, but Hish raised a single clawed finger. "That would be me... Have you come to beg for mercy?" To his left and right the other two laughed, laying on the floor in there cells.

The Annihilator unleashed only parts of its aresnal but that was all it was needed. A combined firepower from Ion Cannons to XX-9 Turbo Lasers, the large pirate fleet was decimated. Point Laser Turrets picked out starfighters from the sky with pinpoint accuracy as swift Stealth Fighters picked off the rest. The gigantic flagship cruised through space as the last of the pirate ships were being destroyed. Ion Cannons hammered the ships while the turbo lasers finally ripped them apart sending giant explosions all over. Despite the large escort of Star Destroyers that followed the flagship, they had no reason to fire. The pirates made a big mistake..

The Annihilator had its attention however on the massive astroid which was surrounded by a mini astroid field. As ships of all sizes were being decimated, the Annihilator was going to make sure every pirate in this base was annihilated in a brutal show of force. Just the sight of this gigantic warship was enough to force systems into surrending but mistakes were mistakes..

"Fire!" The order went in. From the large city like landscape a great green glow was flashing when suddenly a massive Super Laser fired itself, the green laser easily ripping through any astroids in its way before slamming into the astroid that held the base. In just a mere few seconds, the base exploded. The power was toned down in case there had to be use for it soon. Regardless..it was powerful enough. Despite being attacked back, the shields of the flagship were the top line..it was if they did nothing to them. With the threat of the pirates in this area gone..the Imperials began to send out probes to see what use this area of space can be.

This exploration mission through space was just to kill time..

Rtas smirked as best a Sangheili could. "So, now your jokesters, huh? Very well. I bet the Jiralhanae would like to hear some of those, eh? Especially after we send you back empty-handed."

Hish smirked as well, or gave what only a Yautja would be able to tell was a smirk "... We almost killed you. If not for the Gaurds we would have killed you.... And you're the Shipmaster.... The Jiralhanae are half the warriors you're lowest rank's are.... Go ahead send us back... Get us off this usless ship."
Vak laughed in his cage. "If you're going to kill us, then please, shut up and do it..."
Kan threw in his two - cents as well "Or you could just stand there and let us look at you, you beatiful man."
All three of the Yautja burst into laughter, there Mandibles clicking in rapid session.

Rtas, unfazed, replied, "Three of you against one of me? Maybe if you thought before you spat, you might realize that that's the reason I have guards in the first place. But if you wish so desperately to get off the ship, feel free to leave when I let you out. But only after you've answered a couple of my questions."

"ENOUGH!" barked Rtas, loud enough to have the angry shout resonate around the brig, and cause the Spec Ops soldiers to start in surprise. "I am in NO mood to deal with your stupid, infantile, perverse, JOKES! At the very least, come up with a good retort!" After taking a deep breath, Rtas continued, this time more calmly, "Now then, who contacted you to hunt me down?"

"You've not given me enough," Zahr'kagar barked, "We are over a thousand short of Infection Forms!" He began to close his hand into a fist, where he tightened his grip to the most extreme.

"Figures," replied Rtas. "Very well. You're staying here for a little while, so you might as well get comfortable. We'll let you go soon." With that, he irritably turned and stalked out of the room, heading back to the bridge.
